Chapter 101: Fighting the Slime King

After talking with Lilith, Albert made his way toward the group in the front line.

A few succubus noticed his presence from far away and immediately turned around, looking at him. Although they acted due to Lilith's order, they still didn't trust that Albert had the ability to seal the slime king.

So, they made this preparation just to fulfill Lilith's wish.

Seeing so many succubus turning around to see the man who claimed to have sealed the slime king in this place, Yale also followed the direction of their gaze, finding Albert walking toward them.

Far behind him was another succubus who was watching them from afar. With Erica standing not far from him, it was clear that the identity of that succubus was Lilith.

So, he immediately approached Albert. "Teacher."

Albert nodded with a serious expression and asked, "So, how is it going?"

"We've made good progress. In fact, the preparation is almost completed. There should be around an hour, right?"

"Yes." Albert nodded as they came closer to the actual site.

There was a rectangular pit that had been dug up in the past two days. They had made it quite deep to prevent the slime from leaping out.

At the same time, they had reinforced the floor and the walls with smooth black stone. It came from a spell, so there was no crack or gap that could be utilized to escape.

Albert nodded in satisfaction as he never thought they could work this fast without any technology.

"So, this is the containment vessel?" Albert asked for confirmation.

"Yes. We've made the volume three times bigger than the clones of the slime king. Well, there are also a few succubus who are using swords and shields that will be standing near this pit. They're in charge of cutting all the tentacles that come out."

"Can they do that?" Albert asked.

The succubus heard his voice and immediately turned to him, furrowing their eyebrows. It was clear that Albert's genuine concern had become an insult to them.

"Well, yes. If they cut the tentacles with spell and Magic Power, it should be easy to cut those tentacles." Yale nodded with a serious expression. However, in his heart, he was looking down on them too because Bonk Bat didn't even need to be imbued by any Magic Power to deal with the tentacles.

Though, Yale refrained himself from saying it out loud just to make sure he didn't displease the succubus.

After all, if they started acting unreasonably, there was a high chance that mistakes would happen. So, he stopped himself until everything was over.

"Behind them, there are fifty magicians that will keep firing their spells to suppress the slime and eventually kill it." Yale continued his explanation.

"I see." Albert understood the situation and asked, "We can sit back then?"

"Yes. We can trust them." Yale nodded and extended his hand to the side, trying to drag Albert away from the succubus. He couldn't withstand those succubus' glares.

Albert followed Yale to move away slightly while looking at the system.

While walking, Albert asked, "We're taking a detour on our return trip by the way."

"Yes, I know. We're going to deal with more monsters, right?"

"Yep." Albert nodded while winking his right eye as if he was planning something.

After reaching the designated spot for them to watch the entire process, Yale said, "We shouldn't move from here."

"Don't worry. I know." Albert agreed with a nonchalant expression.

They continued to talk about a few things. In the meantime, the succubus started getting ready to their positions while distributing some supplies to them to make sure they didn't lose against the slime king.

After another thirty minutes, everyone had stood in their positions. Due to their role in cutting the tentacles, the succubus who wielded shield and sword positioned themselves on two sides.

This way, they could release a long sharp spell that would cut all the tentacles in a single movement. The magicians created another platform, three feet above the ground to make sure they could look at the pit even though they stood behind those warriors.

There were a total of 121 people standing around the pit, watching over it.

After everything was ready, two succubus moved away. One of them walked toward Lilith to report about their preparation, while the other one approached Albert and Yale.

Albert looked at this white-haired succubus. She certainly had a different temperament from Lilith.

If Lilith was gentle and playful, then the white-haired succubus was cold and fierce. Despite naturally releasing her charm, one would feel suppressed by her fierce gaze alone.

'What is this? Is she a succubus for S&M play? I bet there are some who like this kind of play.' Albert thought. Unlike other succubus who wore revealing clothes, this white-haired succubus had full body armor.

They could only see her wings, tail, and head from the outside. The rest was a white-colored armor with golden flower patterns.

At the same time, she was holding a white sword and helmet on each hand when walking toward them.

"Greetings." She nodded her head for a greeting and introduced herself. "I'm the marshal of the Lust Kingdom, Raisa. I'm in charge of killing the slime king. I might be rude, but I would like to ask how long do we have before the slime king appears?"

Albert became serious when Raisa looked at him. "Approximately 45 minutes. Is the preparation completed?"

"And the moment the slime king splits its body, we will rain it down with another volley. We have a sensory-type succubus here, so we should be able to check the Magic Power of the Slime King. Of course, to ensure its death, we will continue sending our attacks for another one minute." Raisa nodded, explaining their plans.

"I see. I'll inform you when there is less than a minute. This way, you should be able to prepare some spells and begin to focus, right?"

"If possible, make it two minutes."

"Sure."

"Understood. Then, I will take my position again. When the time comes, just shout and I'll immediately order the army to prepare their attacks."

"Got it." Albert nodded.

"Alright. I'll return then." She nodded her head before walking back.

The peace was soon restored as no one bothered to talk among themselves even though they wanted to discuss everything about Albert.

After all, Albert seemed to be a weak person even if Yale became his backer. So, they wondered what kind of person could make the queen move all the way here.

Albert ignored them completely and just enjoyed the breeze until Bonkey reminded him.

In that instant, Albert opened his eyes and shouted, "Two minutes!"

Raisa immediately raised her sword and shouted, "Group A, raise your shield! Group B, unsheathe your swords. Group C, prepare your spells!"

The moment they heard her words, all succubus followed her order and made their own preparation.

Their bodies began tensing up, knowing that a disaster-level monster would soon appear.

The clock was ticking, but for those succubus, two minutes felt like twenty minutes.

Every second made their heart pumping and the longer it was, the harder it beat.

Suddenly, a blue-colored slime appeared out of thin air. The slime's identity was clear because of the golden core inside its body.

In that instant, everyone knew that Albert had indeed sealed the slime king here and it was their turn to eliminate this danger.

"Group C! Attack!" Raisa shouted.

"Fire Pillar!" Ten succubus released their spells at the same time.

Ten fire tornados appeared in the air and started spreading downwards, following the slime king that soon fell to the smooth ground.

Boom.

The moment it touched the ground, the flame flared up and created a tall pillar of fire that burned everything inside.

"Bonk Eyes." Albert also activated his Bonk Eyes, looking at the slime king's Magic Power and its lustful energy.

As expected, the Magic Power had been restored, but its lustfulness was cut in half. This was what Bonkey meant by Horny Jail wasn't the solution to remove the lust of a succubus.

After those fire pillars released their might, the slime king immediately counterattacked by summoning its tentacles.

Raisa immediately shouted, "Ice!"

"Ice Meteor." Another ten succubus released their spells, summoning ten ice spheres from above.

It smashed the tentacles along with the slime king's body. The latter was desperately searching for a room to avoid getting smashed.

Meanwhile, the remaining tentacles that avoided the boulders were to be cut down.

"Group B!"

"Moonlust Sword!" Ten warriors stepped forward and waved their swords.

All of them released crescent-shaped energy that cut down all the tentacles along with the top part of the ice boulders.

After that, the flame pillars from earlier started melting the ice boulder, raising the water level. The water then extinguished the fire pillars.

Suddenly, a few tentacles used that gap to come out and moved straight to the succubus, planning to disrupt their formation.

"Group A!"

Some succubus stepped forward with their shields. Each of them created their own Magic Circle that turned into a golden-colored screen that stopped all tentacles.

"Lightning!" Raisa commanded them again.

Ten Magic Circles appeared on top of the pit. The slime wanted to destroy it, so the tentacles moved away from the shield and headed straight to the Magic Circles.

This was the first time Raisa made her move.

She disappeared just by using her speed. In just a split second, her body reappeared on another side where no one stayed.

She unsheathed her sword and waved it to the sky, creating translucent violet energy that cut all the tentacles.

After that, the lightning bolts started falling, shattering the ice boulder and electrocuting the slime. It worked its wonder when the water spread the electricity, preventing the slime from escaping.

Surprisingly, the slime king still managed to withstand all these attacks and released another wave of tentacles toward Raisa.

The latter simply raised her left hand and formed a Magic Circle. Unlike the others, Raisa's Magic Circle never became a protective screen. However, its strength was enough to stop the tentacles.

She used this chance to appear on another side and cut them down again.

"Well, look at her. She's strong." Albert watched her battle while squinting his eyes. He knew that Raisa was still holding back. After all, her status had been shared by Bonkey.

It released all its tentacles. But these tentacles were different from normal.
