Returning From The Magic World

Chapter 377 Paul

Afterward, Arthur sent Harry a message, telling him to come to the building he had bought. He also told him to bring Bastian and Denis.

They weren't so bad, so it didn't matter if he taught them magic as well.

"Arthur, where are we going now?" asked Carla.

Since Arthur had run out of paper, she thought they would stop traveling around the city.

Arthur replied, "Go to this place!"

He handed his cell phone to the woman. The phone now showed the location point on the map.

It was where the building was located.

Since Arthur wanted to welcome guests, so he needed to take care of the place.

Carla didn't ask anything, she drove towards the suburban area.

Bella looked at the road for a while, but she didn't seem to care much. Right now, she only cared about the figure of the man she was hugging because it gave her infinite comfort.

Not long after, they finally arrived at the outskirts of Paris.

It was still a crowded area, but the streets were quieter so Carla could drive faster.

They entered small villages with farmland until they reached a road beside a river.

After following the river for a few hundred meters, they could finally see a vast vineyard with a large building in the middle.

"Honey, are you buying this property?" asked Bella.

The building was exactly the same as the picture on the invitation that Arthur had distributed.

"Yeah!" Arthur didn't argue with that.

"It must be expensive, right?" asked Bella again, looking around in amazement.

She could deduce that the vast vineyard and the building were one asset because there was a line indicating it.

"300 million," Arthur replied.

"What?" Carla stared back in surprise, accidentally hitting the brakes.

She showed a look of disbelief to her cousin.

"Did you use your own money?" she asked.

Before Arthur could even answer, she added a question. "Where did you get that much money from?"

Sometimes, her gaze went back to ordinary life, so this was a bit too much in her eyes. After all, their family might be prosperous, but it was far from being super rich.

Fortunately, Bella was calmer.

She replied in Arthur's defense, "don't be narrow-minded, just the business he's doing with my sister is already making a lot of money, not to mention the things he's doing without your knowledge."

Being used to a lot of money, Bella can understand what Arthur has achieved.

Some people can become very rich just by working hard, how could Arthur who is a Magus be lacking in wealth.

Carla seemed to be starting to understand, but she pretended not to care because it was Bella who was talking.

After looking into Arthur's eyes, she stared forward again, acting as if there was no such conversation.

Arthur didn't change his expression at all. He answered just so that everyone would know.

Of course, he also didn't mind sharing the information about the money he got to Carla since it didn't need to be so secretive to the people around him.

Carla then stopped the car in front of the entrance lane to the vineyard.

As it turned out, there was someone coming, a middle-aged man wearing a cowboy hat and riding a white horse.

He looked dashing and strong, and even had a long knife hanging from his waist.

He stopped his horse about five meters away from the White Ferrari, and stayed there, seemingly waiting.

"Who is he?" Bella wondered, wrinkling her forehead.

No one knew including Arthur, but of course they had no worries at all.

Arthur signaled Carla to go down first.

After that, he and Bella went down through another door.

When he saw the three of them, the cowboy-looking man showed a surprised expression.

He probably had different expectations from what he saw.

"Who are you, sir, and why are you approaching us?" asked Carla who got out of the car first.

"I'm Paul, the caretaker of this vineyard, I heard the ownership has changed, and I'm waiting for the new owner," the man replied, immediately explaining who he was.

"Is that so?" Bella responded.

"Then you've met the right person. This farm has been bought by my boyfriend," she said, glancing at Arthur.

Paul finally turned his gaze to Arthur who was the only man among them.

He looked doubtful when he discovered that he was so young.

It was just that, being doubtful was also a bit difficult because these three people came in such a luxurious car.

"Do you have any evidence?" Paul asked Arthur.

"All transactions are done by my subordinates," Arthur replied.

"Of course, if you don't believe me, you can wait until someone comes to deliver the deeds."

Hearing Arthur's answer, Paul knitted his brows again.

"What, do you consider us fraudsters, sir?" Bella said, she didn't like that doubtful look.

Surprisingly enough, Paul suddenly shook his head.

"Well, it doesn't matter whether you're the buyer of this vineyard or not," he said to Arthur.

"I've come to tell you that there is a debt of 3 million euros owed to me and the farm workers on behalf of this farm. If you are indeed the new owner of this farm, I hope you will repay the debt immediately. It's been over two years since we worked without pay."

Arthur, "..."

Carla, "..."

Bella, "..."

At this moment, all three were silent.

It wasn't that 3 million euros was a terrifying number to them, but this kind of debt did seem to give a sense of shame.

Bella cleared her throat and then snorted softly. "Only 3 Million, here, give me your account number, I will pay it for my boyfriend."

She pulled out her cell phone, stepping over to Paul.

Since finishing the exam, her finances had immediately increased dramatically as Amanda started giving her her rights as one of the heirs of Aura Company.

Therefore, she dared to look down on the 3 Million figure, and did not miss this opportunity to help Arthur.

Paul was surprised by how calm Bella was. And his eyes couldn't help but flutter when he saw Bella's mobile banking app.

The balance she had was clearly written and he could see it.

'Where do these rich people's kids come from, they shouldn't be from Paris because their accents are different?' He began to wonder.

"How about following to the village to meet the others?" He then replied.

It seemed that he couldn't take care of everything himself. He was just here to talk about it.

Bella looked at Arthur, asking for his opinion.

"Come on!" Arthur didn't object, taking a step to follow Paul.

The man's village was right next to the vineyard, separated only by a highway, no need to use a car to get there, walking was easier.

Paul also made his horse walk slowly, but did not dismount at all.

Arriving at the road ahead, they had to wait for the cars to pass first.

Only when it was safe did they cross the road.

Unfortunately, there is no special pedestrian bridge here. Who knows why.

The village can't be considered small either.

In front, there are two fairly large restaurants, which seem to be open only at night.

Its residents can also be seen everywhere. Some are tending to cows and others are drying clothes.

As this is the era of gadgets, there are also groups of young men gathering and playing games.

Seeing Paul being followed by such conspicuous youngsters, the villagers couldn't help but whisper to each other, talking about them curiously, wondering who they were.

Some even followed because they felt like there would be an important announcement. After all, this was a village. The lives of every family here were always intertwined with each other.

Carla and Bella were too attractive to the young men of the village.

They stared at the two without blinking.

The young girls, on the other hand, stared at Arthur, talking about how cool he was and wondering if one of them could make him stay in this village forever.

Unfortunately, no one had the confidence because Carla and Bella were too beautiful for them.

Even if they sold their parents' farmland and used the money to enhance their beauty, they might still not come close to the two women.

The village apparently had a square right in the center.

There was a tower with a large bell on top.

The bell rope hung down to the ground, so if you wanted to ring it, you could do so from below.

Paul stopped beside the tower, got off his horse, and immediately pulled the bell rope.

Dong! Dong! Dong!

The bell immediately made a loud noise, echoing throughout the village.

Hearing that, the villagers finally went to the square.

Here, one person's business can become everyone's business, so almost everyone comes, even small children of 5 to 7 years old.

"Paul, what's wrong?" One of them asked, a middle-aged man with a large body, giving the impression that he was the most feared person in this village.
