Returning From The Magic World

Chapter 387 Ring

Moments later, Bruce's cell phone suddenly rang.

The man quickly checked it because he knew from the sound that it was his mobile banking app.

And when he saw the amount of money that came in, his eyes went wide open.

He stared at Arthur in disbelief so Carla and Bella were curious about the amount of money he received.

"Are you sure?" he asked Arthur.

"You can call me if you are short of money again," Arthur replied without caring about the amount of money.

He then gave the man his phone number.

Right after that, the man suddenly said, "I guess I should return the favor, wait a minute!"

He stood up before going to one of the rooms there.

Arthur became rather confused, wondering what he wanted to do to return the favor. Would he give him something valuable?

The man returned not long after, and when he appeared, Arthur narrowed his eyes as he saw something in his hand.

It was a silver ring with fine lines, visible at first glance, but Arthur could still feel something different.

"Space Artifact," he said in a low voice.

It was naturally an amazing object because it had a special space inside where you could hide things.

In the Sky World, it was quite common, but here he had not been able to create one until now due to the absence of materials that could be used.

"Looks like you already know about the Space Artifact," Bruce said once he arrived in front of the table.

He placed the ring in front of Arthur and sat down.

"We have some, which we got from people in the Independent Dimensions. Now you can have this one."

Arthur took the ring without hesitation, then connected it with his spiritual energy.

After that, he was immediately able to peer into the ring.

Surprisingly enough, he found many spiritual herbs inside the ring, some of which were extremely rare items.

Seeing Arthur's expression, Bruce continued, "We always collect every precious thing we find. Unfortunately not all of them are suitable for us, maybe they can help your magic."

Of course, it helped a lot. Arthur even smiled slightly.

With all that, he could make quite a few potions.

His people would definitely improve quickly after consuming those potions.

"Looks like I came to the right place," Arthur said.

"We Werewolves always return the favor to those who help us," Bruce replied, once again boasting of his clan's kindness.

"Well, since the business here is done, I will leave now," Arthur said before standing up.

Bruce nodded.

"I'll keep you updated on our movements," he said.

...

Not long after, Arthur, Bella, and Carla left Bruce's residence.

When they were far enough away, Carla asked, "how much money did you actually send him?"

Her eyes narrowed seriously when she asked that.

However, Bella who was now sitting in front patted her thigh.

"Come on, men don't like questions like that, you better not ask him. You have to respect his privacy," she said.

"I'm asking as his cousin," Carla replied.

"Well, especially as a cousin, you shouldn't ask that."

"You can't lump us in with everyone else." Carla remained adamant. "After all, we live together so we're like siblings."

"But you guys have made love." Bella was no slouch at arguing either, so she continued to answer Carla's words.

Hearing her words, Carla's face froze for a moment, and then she was unable to say anything.

In the end, she chose to stare at Arthur, trying to get him to answer.

The latter was playing with his cell phone right now, so he didn't pay attention to her.

However, he still answered casually. "Only 500 Million Dollars, and it's not my money."

"Whose money?" When Arthur said that it wasn't his money, even Bella became curious so she asked too.

Their instincts told them that it was from a woman, but what kind of woman could send 500 Million in such a short time.

Bella knew that even Amanda couldn't do that.

Arthur glanced at the two women in turn, but of course he didn't answer so they frowned.

The sky was already dark when they arrived at the center of Paris once again.

The city had only become more crowded.

Beautiful young women roamed the sidewalks, making the city even more beautiful.

Arthur directed Carla who was driving to a quiet park.

Arriving there, he immediately entered the park by flying, leaving Carla and Bella beside the car.

When he returned, he was carrying the figure of a middle-aged man who was almost dead.

He was awake, but he was worse than any beggar.I think you should take a look at

"He?" Carla was quickly startled as she clearly remembered Owen's face.

This man was the one who had been chasing after her mother, and had even come to their house.

"Arthur, do you really want to hang him from the Eiffel Tower?" asked Bella, looking like she didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

She didn't know how excited the world would be tomorrow morning when they discovered that.

Of course, Bella's words instantly made Owen, who was in a very sluggish state, widen his eyes.

"Hang me from the Eiffel Tower? What do you mean?" he asked Arthur.

Surprisingly, his voice actually sounded normal, perhaps his energy had increased because of that.

"Your family refuses to pay for you, so this is all I can do," Arthur replied.

"What?" Owen looked even more shocked.

He was one of the most active members of the family in running errands. His contributions were always above average so he was highly respected.

However, they actually refused to pay him even though they had unlimited money.

The thought of that made Owen's eyes want to jump out of their sockets.

His family was indeed a family of scoundrels. He himself was also a bastard with many sins. But who would have thought that they would go that far.

He spontaneously glanced at the Eiffel Tower in the distance, and couldn't help but tremble.

He probably considered dying of torture better than being hanged there.

"Please don't do that." In the end, Owen really begged Arthur. His eyes were glazed over, as if he wanted to cry.

However, such a thing was meaningless to Arthur because this man even when he wanted to cry, he was actually unable to give the impression of being sad and thus unable to generate pity from others.

Carla and Bella even looked at him strangely.

It was funny, but it was indeed a consequence of being on top for too long.

Arthur knew that he too would be no different if he fell into such a state.

"Let's go," he said to Carla and Bella, not responding to Owen's pleas.

However, this time he didn't get on the car, he flew straight into the air, carrying Carla and Bella.

For the first time experiencing the sensation of flying, the two beautiful girls were so mesmerized that their lips opened.

They gazed at the beautiful city of Paris with their eyes wide open.

Owen was actually mesmerized too even though he was in a very bad mood.

The sound of the wind produced by their movements somehow made him feel a little calm.

With their speed, it didn't take long before they arrived at the top of the tower.

Night kept the tower closed so there was no one there, so Carla and Bella roamed around as soon as they arrived.

However, they just looked around, fulfilling their curiosity about the tower.

"How are you going to hang him, are you going to tie his neck?" Bella asked Arthur after a while.

Owen almost coughed when he heard her words. He couldn't help but stare at her with bulging eyes, as if to scold her.

However, Bella didn't care.

"No," Arthur replied.

He created a long root that instantly wrapped around Owen's legs.

"Enough to tie his legs," he said.

Of course, it was time for Owen to die, but Arthur didn't try to go too far.

Before throwing him, he sent a beam of energy into his body.

It made his eyes close.

He was already tormented enough, so Arthur didn't torment him further. After all, he was a Magus with normal thinking. Although he could have acted cruelly, he wouldn't have acted to the point where he looked cruel.

After that, he waved his hand until he was thrown off the top of the tower.

At the same time, he tied the root to the tower.

Carla and Bella immediately stepped over to the side of the tower to see Owen.

The wind was surprisingly strong there, so Owen's body kept swaying.

However, there was no way anyone could see him except later in the day.

"It's time for us to go," Arthur said before leaping into the air, pulling Carla and Bella with him.

Bella then asked, "Where are we going now?"

"An hotel, of course," Arthur replied.

Bella was surprised to hear that so she looked at him strangely.

"Can you do it tonight?" she asked.

She had previously said that Arthur probably couldn't because he looked exhausted, but since they were going to the hotel now, Bella didn't want to keep delaying.

"Why not, I don't lack energy right now," Arthur replied.

Actually, his energy became full when he was at Bruce's residence.

The place was really very nice, so he quietly recovered his energy.

Soon after, Bella's eyes shone brightly, as if she had just discovered a priceless treasure.
