Chapter 469 To The Dormitory
The lecturer's honest answer did not make the new students laugh, they just looked at each other with helpless expressions. The reality of the world is indeed too hard to accept.
The lecturer didn't say anything else either. He sat back down at his desk while looking at Jane as if asking if she was satisfied.
Jane was quite calm as she sat down again. It seemed that she already knew the answer. Perhaps she was asking just to get out the thoughts that had been bothering her.
Arthur stopped observing her, preferring to stare at the window to see the street outside.
The lecturer started talking again, discussing various things about the law.
About an hour later, he left the classroom, allowing the students to explore the university building.
Arthur happened to want to take a walk, so he stood up.
As he took a step, Jane suddenly followed him.
Arthur didn't know if she just happened to want to go out or was following him on purpose.
Not knowing, he didn't ask immediately.
However, in a short time, he was able to tell that she was intentionally following him.
"Why are you following me?" Arthur asked with his forehead wrinkled.
He was already attracting a lot of attention and because of Jane's presence, he was attracting even more attention.
The students were probably wondering how he could get close to so many beautiful women.
The problem was that Jane was a different woman from the women who came with him.
Plus, Jane makes a more extraordinary impression.
Her tall, slim figure and elegant gait made it hard for men to take their eyes off her.
"I just don't have a destination, so I walk where you walk," Jane replied.
Apparently she spoke the truth.
After giving her a strange look, Arthur continued walking, ignoring what she wanted.
It was her right where she wanted to walk.
Of course, along the way Arthur met all sorts of people.
However, the most interesting thing was that he also met Catalina, the Spanish princess.
She was sitting in a chair, alone, but guarded by her bodyguards who were standing not far from her.
Her eyes immediately fell on Arthur, and this time she continued to stare at him.
Although she also saw Jane, she strangely pretended as if she didn't see her.
"Can you sit here for a moment?" she said as Arthur got closer to her.
It was quite a shock to the people passing by.
No one expected her to ask Arthur to sit beside her.
Did they know each other too?
"Why?" asked Arthur as he stopped in front of her.
"Are you rejecting me?" The woman suddenly asked back, in a rather low voice that only Arthur and Jane could hear.
She obviously didn't want this conversation to be overheard.
The rejection she was referring to was probably about this engagement, not a rejection of her request to sit down.
After all, they had an engaged relationship. What matters is how each party responds, agree or refuse?
"What about you?" Arthur chose to ask back as well before giving her an answer.
"I accept this engagement. Otherwise, I would have broken it off. Your grandfather can't force me," the woman replied, looking very calm.
"If you accept, I will too." Arthur was even calmer.
He had no reservations. Having the most beautiful and popular princess in Europe as his fiancée was not a bad thing. He only chose to decide after she had decided.
"Since we've both agreed, don't we need to chat and get to know each other?" the woman said.
"You're right, but at least pick a place where no one passes by and overhears," Arthur replied.
"Why didn't you come when I called you to the backyard?"
"I didn't come just because someone asked me to come through an agent."
"It seems that I made a mistake. Well, anyway, I haven't been able to understand men well because I've never had a special relationship like this. In that case, how about we go to my dormitory?"
Catalina actually stood up after she said that, ready to leave.
Her bodyguards glanced at her and they seemed to be preparing to follow her.
Arthur didn't mind, he nodded to her.
After that, the woman took a step.
From beginning to end, she only occasionally glanced at Jane, but did not speak to her.
Jane didn't seem to care either.
She had lost her status. A princess like Catalina would naturally not speak to her for no apparent reason.
Plus, they only knew each other, not friends.
And since they were planning to go to the dormitory, so she stopped following.
Meanwhile, Arthur asked Catalina, "don't you feel it's too soon to bring your fiancé to your dorm?"
If they were in the dorms, anything could happen.
Did Catalina not care about that?
"I'm already 18 years old, the word soon doesn't fit me anymore because there have been too many late things in my life," Catalina replied calmly.
"You seem to be quite open-minded."
Arthur said that was because princesses were usually raised with a very conservative culture.
He wasn't sure about the princesses in this modern era. Perhaps it didn't matter if they were open-minded as long as it went unnoticed.
Of course, there could be no strange rumors if Catalina brought Arthur to her dormitory even if they were followed by bodyguards.
Arthur was not sure how this woman would handle this?
Unless she really didn't care and denied the rumors by saying that there was nothing.
Maybe she could convince people that the guards were always nearby.
Plus that she has a lot of rabid fans, it might be easy for her to convince the public.
Those bodyguards can also be ordered to say something.
They get more attention when they arrive at the university grounds.
Carla and Bella happened to see them from their class through the window.
Their expressions were frozen, and they looked like they had lost their souls.
"H-how is it possible, that princess already has a fiancé?" said Bella.
Then, she looked at Carla.
"I-is it possible that Arthur is the Prince?" she asked her.
She was just speculating randomly, but how could Carla answer. She didn't know anything either.
The other people's speculations didn't reach that point because they were still made to think that the prince Catalina was engaged to was nothing like Arthur.
Even so, as they entered the dormitory, people couldn't help but look at each other strangely.
"Why did the Princess bring that guy to the dormitory?" Someone wondered.
He wanted to say strange words, but was worried that it would get him into trouble.
"It seems that man has an extraordinary background, and he probably has a lot of talent, so he knows many great figures. If he's friends with that Princess of Japan, it wouldn't be strange if he's also friends with Princess Catalina," said another, saying it was a good speculation.
It was supported by fans of the princess.
Of course, Yukiko also saw Arthur and Catalina because she was standing in front of her classroom window.
Today, she did have the desire to make love with Arthur since it had been a long time since they last did so.
That desire came up every day.
Although it wasn't quite as disturbing, it still needed to be done occasionally so that she could feel satisfied.
At first, she was confident that they would do it today.
Unfortunately she now saw Arthur and Catalina into the dormitory.
Her expression did not change, but she was naturally disturbed.
"Huh!" In the end, she snorted softly as she thought of something.
The dormitory had many floors, similar to a hotel, only each room was very simple.
Arthur didn't know what Catalina's room was like given her status, but she took him to the third floor.
It was certainly not the highest floor.
There were many hallways with doors arranged three meters apart.
From the distance of each door, it can be concluded that all the rooms here are small.
Apparently Catalina stopped in front of one of the doors.
"This is my room," she said as she pushed it open.
Behind the door, Arthur found a small room with a small bed that was basically only for one person.
In addition to the air conditioning, there was a study table there. There was no TV or dining table.
This was practically a public dormitory.
"Is there no room for guests here?" asked Arthur.
"No, just like this, who said there was room for guests?"
"Yukiko!"
"That woman? I don't know, maybe her dorm is designed differently. Only, all the rooms in this hallway belong to my bodyguards. There are more of them, hiding in every room."
Right after Catalina said that, half of the bodyguards entered one of the rooms.
The rest stood guard at the end of the hallway.
Arthur glanced back strangely and asked again, "did they not prevent you from these things?"
"No, because we are engaged," Catalina replied.
"I see...." Arthur finally understood enough.
"Please come in," Catalina said again as she led her hand into the room.
Arthur stepped into it without hesitation and sat down on the chair for the study table while his gaze was drawn to the black window beside the table.
He could see the university grounds clearly, including the students who were now staring at the dormitory.
Actually, they didn't know which one was Catalina's room either.
The dormitory building was too big, even knowing the location of the room inside the building did not guarantee that someone would know its location from the outside.
You could only know if you made a mark first.
Meanwhile, Catalina closed the door, and even locked it.
