Rise of Myriad Magic Emperor

Chapter 75: Man Who Stand At The Peak

Chapter 75: Man Who Stand At The Peak

The month of June arrived and Kai was currently standing beside Jai inspecting the training of the new city guards. They were covered from top to bottom in sweat and toned muscles as they did various types of exercises, hand to hand combat and practiced with wooden weapons.

"These guys have really improved from last time," said Kai seeing the intense training they were doing.

"These guys are still too weak, but don't worry, by the end of this month, I will make sure all of them become qualified fighters and use battle aura effectively." Jai's eyes glowed with a scary light as he became excited.

Hearing this all guys who were doing training felt a very bad premonition.

Kai could only pray for these common soldiers when he saw Jai's excited face and wished them luck in the future hellish training.

Leaving the training grounds, Kai went to see how much progress Lily had made under the guidance of Kaya.

He arrived at the magic training ground that could only be used by the Duke family and saw Lily practicing magic. She had just completed the spell chanting when a sudden gust of wind blew and the wooden targets standing 10 meters away were torn into pieces.

Seeing the spell, Kai smiled and muttered, "Rank two magic: Wind slash. A wind type magic spell with great attack power but hard to control the direction of the spell as the distance from the caster increases.

The principle behind it is to compress air and form a ball of magic, then releasing it in the target's direction. As soon as it hits, the highly compressed wind will explode in the form of wind blades. It can later evolve to the rank three magic spell Wind blade, which possesses great power and sharpness."

"Already at the peak of Magic Master." This was the stage Lily reached after 6 months of training.

Having finished today's training, Lily finally took a break. Sweat could be seen on her forehead.

It looked like the spell had really drained a large amount of magic power and mental strength out of Lily.

Noticing Kai, she smiled. "Brother, I am taking my leave. I need to take a bath to clean myself of this sweat." She left after saying such.

Seeing Lily's back, Kai smiled. "She is pushing herself too far. Most of the magic users at her age are still at the last stages of Magic Apprentice, struggling to find their magus point, but she is already at peak Magic Master with a saint body and saint mage root. Master Daoma's method of increasing one's initial potential really is heaven-defying, and together with Kaya's, a Saint-level magic user, guidance... but she needs lots of practice to control and practice magic faster."

Kai had recently found out that it was common sense that Mortal-levels couldn't use magic spells without chanting, but for him who was using non-attribute magic without chanting, it was something new.

Kai was already at the peak Magic Warrior stage and has an attribute origin with the magic power of a Magic Knight. He was able to use all Mortal rank magic attributes but was still struggling to master rank 4 magic, especially Space and Time attributes.

Aside from that, he also found a new problem. It was related to his newly formed non-attribute magic origin and it has been happening since the previous week.

It was an uncontrollable release of battle aura that occurred every time he tried to use non-attribute magic. It was becoming stronger and stronger every day."Why is this happening? Why can't I control my battle aura?" Not even Daoma had a solution to this problem.

He couldn't do anything after he asked Master Daoma and Kira for a solution.

In the end they were not able to find anything aside from the fact that his body is obsorbing unpurified spritual essence from environment automatically but can't find the souce were it is going.

That may be the reason his battle aura is going crazy.

In the end, Kai decided to ask his grandfather Yami for a solution. Being a battle mage himself, he must know about it, so Kai walked towards the teleportation hall.

Arriving at the Royal palace, Kai directly walked to the Western palace, where Yami and Ellen lived.

Reaching the chamber, he only found his grandmother, Ellen, there. She was watering the flowers, so he decided to not disturb her and talk to her after she was done with her work.

After a while, when Ellen finished, Kai asked her, "Grandma, where is grandpa?"

"Your grandfather is currently in a meeting with the other ministers, so you will have to wait until he comes back."

Kai nodded and started talking with Ellen.

An hour later, Yami entered the room and spotted Kai en Ellen talking happily with each other.

Seeing Yami, Kai stood up and welcomed him.

"How are you, Kai? Did you forget your grandfather or did you come here by mistake?" said Yami expressionless.

"Grandpa, don't be angry. I wasn't able to come to visit you two due to various reasons. I have not even left Duka Michael's mansion in the last two months and have been training and reading books to improve myself under the strict observance of my master.

It's only been 3 days since I've completed my training. I came because I was having some problems," Kai explained in a hurry.

"Oh! I didn't know that. I thought you were just avoiding me and running away from the responsibility as the king of Buraford," he smiled.

"How can that be possible, grandpa? Just look at how much I have improved?" Kai released his peak Magic Warrior magic power.

Seeing it, Yami was surprised and happy.

"Good, good. Worthy of my grandson, 17 years old and already a peak Magic Warrior," he patted Kai's head.

Ellen also smiled.

With Yami's excited reaction, Kai finally felt relieved. "It was a good decision to not tell grandfather that I had broken through to my current stage three months ago."

"Grandpa, I need some help. I am facing some problems."

Kai explained his problem, about how it occurred when using non-attribute magic and the uncontrollable battle aura.

Listening to Kai, Yami replied, "Sorry, Kai, but I can't help you. I have never heard of any cases of the problem you are facing, but there is someone that may be able to help you."

"Who can help me?" asked Kai curiously.

"The oldest living battle mage and strongest peson in the continent. Headmaster of Chronos Magic Academy, Oliver Chronos. Only he might be able to help you," replied Yami.

"Do you have any means so I can meet him?" asked Kai.

"Headmaster Oliver never leaves the academy campus and outsiders are not allowed to enter the academy. Only if you are a student and achieve something exceptional can you meet him.

When I was studying in the academy, I only saw him on three occasions; during the academy's entrance exams, during my graduation and when I personally met and got the medal of the highest points holder of the year.

Meeting him is very hard. As the headmaster of the most prestigious academy, he is always busy."

"So, grandpa, what should I do to meet him?" asked Kai.

Hearing that, Yami smiled and gave Kai a golden ticket with rune marks.

"What is this, grandpa?" asked Kai again as he looked at the golden ticket.

"Your registration token for Chronos Magic Academy. One month from now, the entrance exams will begin and you are going to attend it," replied Yami smiling.

"One of their requirements to become a student is to be at the age of six and have enough potential to meet their standards. The other is to be a Magic Grandmaster before the age of 18 and pass the examinations," explained Yami.

"But grandpa..."

"No ifs or buts. I know that you have a great teacher, but studying at Chronos Magic Academy has been a generational tradition in the Buraford Kingdom. All kings have graduated from there and even if you don't want to enter the academy. I will not stop you. but if you want to get the solution of your problem you have to enter the academy"

"Currently, I am taking care of the administration of the kingdom and making changes to it, according to the plan suggested by Miss Behemoon. After you return back you will have a new kingdom with new adminstration system  "

Hearing that, Kai agreed. After all, it was killing two birds with one stone, meeting headmaster Oliver and an excuse to not participate in political meetings with the minister, so Kai nodded and took the token.
