Chapter 258: Pure Life Energy pills

A commotion instantly exploded on the originally serene mountain top, as everyone rushed frantically towards the old tomb. However, since there were several magical beasts inside these mountains, occasional screams of terrors were heard from time to time. Yet, overall, most of them managed to rush up to the mountain top within a few minutes.

Unlike most of them, Knight flew on his sword and avoided all the magical beasts on the ground, and safely reached the mountain top.

Once he ascended the mountain, a large stone wall that was hidden within the vegetation surfaced in front of his eyes. He felt the invincible pressure around him as his face turned serious.

Hearing Lia's voice, he lifted his head, only to find a spacious giant hall with dozens of passages leading into the depths of the tomb. Currently, several people were going into different tunnels.

His senses were tingling unlike he walked past the previous stone rooms. Immediately, he rushed forward and placed his hand on the stone door. However, when his palm touched the surface, he was forcibly pushed back by a powerful force field.

"Young Master, are you alright?"

Lia also felt the force field as she stepped closer to the door and inspected the door.

"Young Master, there is a force field here, however, it is not too powerful. If my guess is right, there must be a mechanism behind the stone door. We have to find a way to disable the mechanism to open the door"

"Too troublesome, stay back"

Knight shook his head and pulled her back from the stone door as he clenched his fist.

"Young Master wait..."

She quickly guessed what he was planning to do and before she could finish her sentence, he punched the stone wall as hard as he could.

Moments later, the stone door started to tremble violently, and to Lia's surprise, the stone door crumbled into pieces.

When that stone door opened, he immediately stepped in as his eyes moved to stare at the piles of round pills stacked on the ground inside the room.

These pills were the size of a baby's fist. Each and every one of them was shining like glitter balls, indicating that they were of excellent quality. Moreover, an astonishing Life Energy was being emitted from within these pills.

"These are Pure Life energy pills?"

Lia foolishly stared at these pills which filled the entire room. Moments later, she couldn't help but take a few deep breaths. These things that were casually scattered around like beans were something that a Professional alchemist needed half a month to a month to successfully concoct.

These pills had purer life energy and they could be absorbed more quickly and efficiently compared to life energy stones. In other words, the stones were like raw sugar cane sticks and the pills were like processed sugar cubes.

The number of Pure Life energy pills inside this stone room was at least in the tens of thousands. Lia recalled how her family paid a huge amount of wealth to an Alchemist to concoct Life Energy pills for her cultivation and they were not anywhere near the purity level of these pills.

From this, one could only imagine how shocked she was in the face of such a surprise.

These four people were staring at the Pure Life energy pills that filled the stone room with their mouths half-opened. Moments later, their expressions changed as greed filled their minds. Then, their eyes paused on Knight and Lia, who were rapidly collecting all the pills inside the stone room.

"You two, hand over all the pills!'

The four of them obviously lost their mind looking at all the pills in the room. They walked inside the stone room, sealing off the entrance before they maliciously smiled at Knight and Lia. Under the temptation of these precious pills, even if an elite was present, they would not give up so easily.

People would die for money. This was a true saying indeed. Often, greed would overwhelm one's rationality.

Knight's expression did not change. Ever since the four of them had appeared, the Oracle had revealed that among the four of them, two were at the low Great master level, while the other two were at Mid Great master level. The ferocious aura of the lightning caused the four's facial expressions to change, as they quickly utilized the Life energy in their caress to welcome it. Evidently, they never expected this youngster to be this formidable.

However, just as one of the Mid-level Greatmastes was preparing to use his Life Energy, an extremely quick light flashed in his eyes. Immediately, he felt a sharp pain in his chest area. As he lowered his head to look, he found that a bloody hole had already appeared and fresh blood continuously gushed out.

As that lighting bolt hit the man, the remaining trio was now deathly alarmed. 

"Peak GR..."

But before their mind could finish processing, another three bolts of lightning struck them in their heads.

The battle was settled just like that as Lia blankly stared at the four unlucky fellows who fell to the ground.

When the last man fell, the final pill inside the stone room flew into his space ring. 

"Did you think they were going to kill me?"

Looking at the pale face of Lia, she smiled and asked her.

"You...how...powerful"

She mumbled and it took several seconds for her to realize that he was a peak Grandmaster.

"Let's go"

He ignored her mumbling and just as he was about to leave with all the Pure Life energy pills, he heard a bunch of footsteps outside.

Several people stood outside the door as they stared at the four lifeless bodies on the ground. Immediately, they shivered as they were staring at Knight terrified.

In response to their stares, he was expressionless as he took Lia and directly walked towards the stone door. When they saw the duo walking out of the room, even though many people knew that the two had very likely taken away all the treasures inside, they still did not want to take the risk and attack this duo. After all, there were four bodies on the floor clearly warning them that the youngster in black armor before them was certainly not a merciful soul. Thus, when they saw Knight approaching, the crowd hurriedly dispersed to allow them through.

Together with Lia, he walked through the crowd at an extremely steady pace. His unhurried appearance shocked the crowds and strengthened their decision not to attack him.

"That was dangerous"

Just as they turned the corner, Lia's expression instantly relaxed as she deeply heaved a sigh of relief. It was fortunate that they were able to quickly collect all those pills.
