She Belongs To The Devil

Chapter 720 What Woman

Earlier, when Kenneth had screamed after getting bitten by Damien on the neck, Zach happened to hear that scream. And as they were all in the forest, Zach also feared that someone was hurt or someone was stuck in some problem.

He quickly carried his crossbow in front of his chest and cautiously walked while looking for the source of that scream.

As he tiptoed on the wet leaves and grasses on the ground, he thought to himself, "I hope that whoever had screamed isn't getting bitten or eaten by any dangerous predators. I am not sure if I can properly aim these arrows at that animal, especially if it sees me and starts to run towards me."

After walking for a minute or so, Zach saw Damien and Kenneth who were previously being hidden by a large tree.

Zach sighed in relief. "Oh, it's them tw–" But then his sigh of relief turned into the greatest shock of his life.

He was dumbfounded to see what he saw. He simply could not believe his eyes.

Zach forgot the fact that Damien was also a part vampire. And he didn't even think in his wildest dream that Damien could be feeding on Kenneth's blood.

And Zach also got confused just like his dear cousin, Ariel. He thought that Damien was forcefully 'kissing' Kenneth on the neck.

And right when Kenneth was about to knee Damien in between his legs, Zach screamed at the top of his lungs.

"Aahhhhhhhhh…"

And while screaming, Zach accidentally pulled the trigger of his crossbow that was previously loaded with an arrow.

The arrow flew straight towards Damien and Kenneth.

Damien finally snapped out of his blood thirst when he sensed danger. He lifted his head from Kenneth's neck and turned his head to the side. He looked just in time to catch the speeding arrow that was coming right at him. He protected his head from getting pierced by that arrow shot by Zach.

Kenneth instantly put some distance in between himself and Damien while Damien was still distracted.

Damien, on the other hand, snapped that arrow in two and looked to see Zach standing a little further away from them while holding a crossbow.

He licked his lips and then shouted at Zach, "What the hell, Zach? Are you hunting for wild animals or are you hunting me?"

Zach was still in shock. And since his vision wasn't like that of the supernaturals, he didn't notice how Damien licked off blood from his lips.

He couldn't believe that the two boys who claimed to love his cousin were loving each other.

And he shouted at Damien as if he was the one who was betrayed by those two boys, "And what about you? What the hell were you doing with Kenneth in the middle of the forest? That also in broad daylight, you shameless degenerates!"

"Wh–"

Before Damien could make sense of what Zach was talking about or even ask a question, Zach turned around and ran as fast as his human feet could take him.

Damien was furrowing his brows in confusion when he turned to look at Kenneth. Your next read is at empire

Kenneth was glaring at him while holding the collar of his shirt away from the fading puncture marks on his neck.

And it finally dawned upon Damien what Zach meant when he called them 'shameless degenerates'.

Damien and Kenneth awkwardly looked at each other. And both of them wiggled their bodies because of the goosebumps that they got after recalling how close they were standing to each other just moments ago.

Damien cleared his throat and mumbled, "Let's never talk about this again." And he ran after Zach to clear things with him.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Kenneth gave an air-kick after Damien ran off and he mumbled to himself, "As if I would ever want to talk about it."

He then touched his neck to check the puncture marks that he got from Damien. The marks had already healed by now. So he ran in the direction where Grace had run off to earlier. He wanted to make sure that she hadn't fainted somewhere on the path.

Zach, on the other hand, was running to find Ariel. And while running, he was talking to himself, "I will have to tell her what those two were doing there. How dare they play with Ary's feelings? I will have to warn her that those two bastards are not for her."

Suddenly, he heard the swooshing sound of the wind and found Damien walking beside him.

"Zach, where are you headed?" Damien tried to start the conversation as casually as he could.

However, Zach wasn't in the mood to listen to anything that Damien had to say. He gave a death glare to Damien and shouted, "I'm telling Ariel what you two were doing just a while ago. Now stop following me."

Damien suddenly blocked Zach's path and asked, "And… what did you think we two were doing?" He first wanted to make sure that he wasn't thinking ahead of what Zach thought. He didn't want to make things worse by assuming and saying things that Zach wasn't even thinking in the first place.

But Zach proved that he was thinking exactly what Damien thought he was thinking. "I am not blind, Damien! You were k-ki-kissing Kenneth! And he was enjoying it!"

Zach then pushed Damien with his shoulder and walked past him.

Damien scratched his forehead restlessly and took a deep breath in. He caught up with Zach again and said in a complaining tone, "Zach, why would I even kiss Kenneth? He is the person I hate the most. And he is a man! I was just–"

"Shhh…" Right then, Zach's eyes fell on Ariel. She was sitting down while resting her back on a tree's trunk. And she was hugging her knees and wiping her eyes every once in a while.

"Ary?"

The moment Zach called her, she got up on her feet and wiped her eyes as she looked the other way.

Zach ran towards her, and Damien followed.

"Is she crying?" Zach thought to himself. He went and stood in front of Ariel and tilted his head to see that Ariel was indeed crying. Her eyes were all wet and red. Zach felt a sting in his heart to see his cousin in that state.

"Ary, what's the matter?" he asked in a soft voice. He was well aware that Ariel was the strongest among his cousins, but also the weakest one at the same time. She had a strong body but a weak heart.

"Did something happen?" he asked again.

But rather than answering Zach, Ariel picked up her bow and the quiver from the ground and started to walk away.

And Zach wondered if Ariel also saw what he saw. "Did you also see Damien kissing–"

"Yes," Ariel answered before Zach even completed his question. She pulled up a fake smile and asked Zach, "I guess you also saw him kissing that woman?" She sneered and whispered to herself, "So, it wasn't my hallucination…"

"Woman? What woman?"

But immediately after, she disappeared from there like a puff of smoke because she had sensed Damien's presence as well.

Zach could only sigh after watching her vanish. He didn't know where she had teleported to. He just wished that she didn't go back to Wyverndale alone. He didn't want to stay back in Brenalia without her.

Zach then turned his head and gave a death glare to Damien. And he asked in a threatening growl, "What woman was she talking about, Damien? Please don't tell me it was Grace. And definitely not Niylah!"
