Chapter 213 Section 213 - Don't You Have a Clue?
Instructor Ramaya, who Old David thought highly of, was nonchalantly clipping his fingernails to one side, not even lifting his head, showing no intention of standing up for justice on behalf of the Lockheed scion.
In fact, like Old David, he had been running around like a headless chicken for the past couple of days and had just managed to find some peace on the grounds of Nellis Air Force Base. He didn't want to look for any more trouble for himself.
Military zone, no unauthorized entry, machine guns and dogs, the more the merrier, you dare to climb the fence, I dare to shoot, no compensation if you're killed.
The various news media, looking at the tall barbed wire fence, could only sigh helplessly. Assaulting a federal military base was not something ordinary people could handle.
Steven Lockheed, fuming, pointed at Chen Fei and said, "He has a Magical Beast, and used a Healing Spell on me!"
Healing Spells weren't without side effects; if one's nutrition couldn't keep up… one would become very weak, with impotence being the most direct consequence.
Actually, many drugs have the same side effects, treating the disease while harming the kidneys. According to traditional Chinese medicine theories, this is overdrawing kidney yang and vital energy to fill other deficiencies.
Westerners frequently suffer from ED; could they not, given the overuse of antibiotics?
If they don't focus on nourishing the kidneys and cultivating vitality, yet wish for numerous offspring and population growth, all while being so active, aren't they being overly hopeful?
"Where's the Magical Beast?"
Chen Fei spread his hands.
Xiao Jiu had gone off with Manager Hanna to make public appearances, even taking the nest with them.
As the mascot of Jiu Defense, it naturally needed to shoot a few commercials for promotional materials.
A Third Rank Magical Beast was already qualified to be exploited by cold, heartless capitalists.
"Magi..."
Steven Lockheed glared at Chen Fei, suddenly stuttering.
Where's the bird?
The little bird, which had always been hopping around on Chen Fei's shoulder and was very clingy, had suddenly disappeared. Where had it gone?
"You must have seen it wrong,"
Chen Fei shrugged his shoulders, without evidence, there's nothing you can claim.
"Since you are not injured and can't produce a medical report, please leave if there's nothing else,"
The old man blew a smoke ring, very annoyed, with no interest in meddling in the petty fights of the younger generation.
Eagle Nest private airport needed reconstruction, and he still had to sue the insurance company, which wouldn't pay up promptly and honestly but instead thought about cheating. Enough issues to keep him busy.
Such a shame for his lifelong collection of fighter jet relics, mostly original genuine articles, and now only that personally gifted F-22 Raptor was left, even missing its cockpit canopy. This isn't a convertible!
An original canopy costs as much as a luxury car, and the youngster just tossed it away.
Old David was stricken with anxiety.
"Alright, alright, Steven, let's talk outside. Let's not disturb the old man any further."
Realizing Old David's impatience and Instructor Ramaya's indifference, Chen Fei let out a sly chuckle, grabbed Steven Lockheed like carrying a little chick, and dragged him toward the office door.
It seemed neither of the two wanted to intervene, so Chen Fei chose to respectfully comply and not cause any more headaches for the two big shots here.
"Help! Help! He's going to hit me! Help, someone is getting beaten up!"
Steven Lockheed let out a squeal like a pig being slaughtered, refusing to leave.
Old David frowned, his brow wrinkling with displeasure. This whelp was worse than the last, this generation of the Lockheed family just wasn't up to the mark!
Instructor Ramaya gave Chen Fei a meaningful look, which was returned with a nod.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
"My apologies for the disturbance!"
Dragging the struggling figure out, he shut the door behind them, then landed a punch in the stomach just outside the door.
Ouch!~
Still the same familiar taste!
"I, I'm going to sue you!"
This time the punch held back a bit, Steven still had the energy for tough talk, but as soon as Chen Fei let go, the guy flopped on the floor sideways, rolling his eyes again.
"Haven't you noticed?"
Chen Fei crossed his arms, leisurely watching the other.
"Noticed what?"
Steven Lockheed looked incredulous, the other guy was nothing but a toad lusting after swan meat, what's so great about him?
Lockheed Family could squash a thousand like him with a single finger.
Chen Fei kindly reminded, "Haven't you noticed that no one is helping you?"
What made this naive guy think that just by relying on his identity as a member of the Lockheed family and a shareholder of Boeing Company, he could create a situation advantageous to himself, and that he could do whatever he wanted because of it.
In fact, Chen Fei had already beaten him up three times, if he were to have any trouble, it would have happened by now.
But Steven just didn't get it, and even felt good about himself. His lack of memory was really about to make him cry from stupidity.
His eyes were about to pop out as he said furiously, "Not helping? How is that possible?"
"Name just one who does!"
Chen Fei leaned against the corridor, waiting for the other party to give an answer.
"I! I..."
Steven opened his mouth.
The first time, machine gun fire grazed dangerously close over the top of his private plane, nearly scaring him to death. He went home to complain to his father, only to find his bodyguard gone, the use of his private plane revoked, and himself sent to learn flying with Old David.
Old David's good old buddy, the F-22 "Raptor", was produced by the Lockheed family, so their relationship was naturally very close. Sending a family member to learn from them wasn't a big deal.
Steven had thought that his dad had sent someone to help him take out Chen Fei, but he never expected... that Guy to also arrive at the Eagle Nest private airfield, apparently participating in maintenance technician training.
He had tried to pull a fast one in secret, and failed!
But the other party had noticed, and the second time they met at the airfield, he threw a punch without a word, nearly taking Steven's life.
Shouldn't he have been expelled for punching someone in public?
But no!
This guy just appeared in the town, seemingly having escaped with others, and all Steven did was make a sarcastic remark.
That beating was too painful to revisit.
One! Two! Three!
Just as he had said, Steven really hadn't been able to do anything to this guy!
He couldn't best him in a fight, and when looking for someone to take his side, no one was willing to step forward. It was truly bizarre.
"What's so great about you!"
Steven was absolutely certain that this guy was nothing but an ordinary person, and his parents and siblings were also not any significant figures to speak of.
He just couldn't believe that such a person could beat him into submission.
Yet, that was the reality.
"I'm nothing special, but you, you're a nuisance," Chen Fei said as he bent down to pat the other man's face.
At these words, Steven immediately fell into self-doubt, nearly breaking down.
That day, Teacher Shen Fei had his father seize an opportunity to deliver a message to Boeing Aerospace Company, comparing him to a deputy head of the Northern Weapons Industry Group, a central enterprise with great power and no match for a shareholder not even ranked in the top five.
The CEO of Boeing Company indirectly scolded Old Lockheed, and Steven was directly "banished", feeling wronged the whole time!
Old Lockheed: My boy, your dad tried his best!
Unfortunately for Steven, he ran into his nemesis again, clashing with someone he simply didn't get along with.
Chen Fei ultimately did not play the Chen Family Gate card, because that would spoil the fun.
If you want to be smart, go figure it out for yourself!
The head of the Chen Family Gate was still feeling annoyed. Who had eaten until they were full and started asking about their Chen Family Gate's business? He sent a bunch of false information their way, let them figure it out for themselves!
After training for two more days at Nellis Air Force Base's alternate landing site, the new advanced trainer aircraft and flight simulators were all delivered, and Instructor Ramaya's Advanced Training Class started again.
Following a real flight experience and an emergency highway landing, Instructor Ramaya gave Chen Fei full access permissions.
Before taking the actual flight lessons, he was allowed to enjoy unlimited time on the flight simulator.
The higher the fidelity of the flight simulator, the higher the ratio of its usage time counted as actual flight experience. The more time accumulated, the less pressure there would be when it came to flying the real thing.
Apart from eating and sleeping, Chen Fei spent almost all of the fourteen hours each day in the flight simulator.
It was a good thing that Manager Hanna had taken Xiao Jiu away, or else he wouldn't have been able to devote himself fully to it.
Opportunities like this were rare, and he was determined to make up for the flying hours.
