Chapter 1364: Chaotic Sea of Stars and the Twin Star Pirates

As they continued their journey in the chaotic streams, the Wanyun Association’s fleet ran into 3 more assaults by Star Beasts. They failed to do anything and were quickly dealt with by the experts on board.

Clearly, the rest of the attacks weren’t like the first where the pack was controlled by a Beast Warrior.

Shang Xia didn’t do anything after getting rid of the first assault. He found it a pity that despite the layers of formations, he was still able to feel the impact of the battle. During intense exchanges, the rocking of the Star Ship would become so intense it was impossible for him to craft talismans. In the end, he decided to simply cultivate.

Shang Xia wasn’t the only one who was surprised. Gong Zhuo and Zhang Shun were also drawn to the sudden change.

That was actually a method the Wanyun Association used to transmit simple messages through the vast sea of stars.

Looks of joy appeared on their faces.

Zhang Shun muttered in a low voice soon after, “They’re here.”

Gong Zhuo looked solemn and he nodded slowly, “They’re finally here...”

Shang Xia understood that they were probably referring to their alliance mates.

However, from how the Star Ships of the Wanyun Association were gathering together and hovering about the region of chaotic space without going further, it was obvious they were guarded against their allies.

Shang Xia couldn’t help but think about the attack by the Beast Warrior right after they entered the streams of chaotic space. Even though Zhang Shun didn’t say anything about it, the matter had been at the back of their minds the entire time. Whatever it was, the Wanyun Association wouldn’t get careless on matters like that.

Shang Xia had also been thinking to himself about what would happen if the fleet was attacked and he wasn’t there.

Without a doubt, the Wanyun Association would still emerge victorious, but the price they would have paid would be far larger. There was no way they would only lose a layer of structures on the fourth ship.

When the Wanyun Association hired him back then, they were planning to use him as a trump card in case anything like that happened. He discovered that Gong Zhuo and Zhang Shun had been concealing his presence the whole time. Shang Xia decided not to return to his cabin after bidding farewell to Zhang Shun and Gong Zhuo. Instead, he stood at the edge of the vessel to look into the sea of stars.

No one knew how long had passed, but another massive Star Ship fleet arrived in the distance. It closed in slowly on them.

When the distance between both sides was barely hundreds of miles, the other fleet started to slow to a stop.

Both sides maintained a safe distance from each other.

Shang Xia saw several streaks of light coming from the Wanyun Association’s fleet as they approached their allies.

Narrowing his eyes, Shang Xia extended his divine soul into the depths of the void. Hee discovered that the Wanyun Association mobilized 4 people in total. Other than Gong Zhuo and Zhang Shun, the other 2 were at the second and third tier respectively.
