Several Days Later

Rylon Star System, Alaric Star Domain, Ruusor Star Sector, Frontier Star Segment, Chronus Expanse Star Region, North-Western Galactic Quadrant

It was time for the long-awaited event to finally happen as the outer scanners of the Imperial Navy detected the incoming fleet of the Greenskins coming to the Alaric Star Domain.

Within the Rylon Star System, the defense fleet of the Eternal Imperium of Asurya has gathered its numbers under the command of Bashar-General Varathar Medes. In regard to the number of ships, the defense fleet had approximately five thousand spaceships of various Classes.

Ranging from the smallest corvettes, though even they were massive compared to the spaceships of the other civilizations, to the humongous capital ships of Titan-Class and Juggernaut-Class, and there was also a good number of the Star Destroyers.

Titan-Class starships were humongous crafts of metals and marvels of sheer technology; they were much bigger than the Dreadnought-Class Starships and were the highest grade of firepower of the Imperial Fleet.

Though they were nothing compared to the Juggernaut-Class Capital Ships that were present among the fleet. While smaller than the Starfort Lycurgos, they were still huge enough to the point where they couldn't even dock at the Starfort Lycurgos due to their enormous size.

The Juggernaut is the mobile center of operations of an entire Imperial Fleet. It was usually the Mothership of the entire Imperial Fleet, and only a few were manufactured in the entire Eternal Imperium of the Asurya.

Each Juggernaut-Class Capital Ship was equipped with automatic shipyards that could construct, repair, and upgrade ships the same way starbases and standardized shipyards could. It also boated with an enormous hull and most powerful shields, even compared to the Titan-Class Star Destroyer.

Not to mention, they also had rather extensive hangars that could be armed with several thousand starfighters, which was only logical because the spaceship boasted a width of more than forty kilometers, a length of ten kilometers, and heights of another seventeen kilometers.

Due to the shipyards that the Juggernauts had, they could upgrade and repair damaged starships during the battle in real-time, which was one of the most strategic advantages of the Imperial Fleet.

Arcturus noticed that all spaceships of the Eternal Imeprium of the Asurya were rather simplistic in design; they were not overly beautiful like other civilizations in the known universe or other factions, but they were more focused on the practical side of all things.

All of the spaceships were designed with only one aim: to kill and destroy everything in their path.

Arcturus was standing on the command deck of the Obscurus, together with the holo-projection of the Red Queen, as they together observed the Imperial Fleets in defensive formation as they put themselves together around the three Juggernaut-Class Capital Ships, which in turn surrounded the Starfort Lycurgos.

"It gives rather a sense of excitement, don't you agree?"

Arcturus asked as he looked out the window, where thousands of spaceships were all in the defensive formation, awaiting the Orkish WAAAGH! that would jump from the Hyperspace at any given time.

The Imperial scans of space indicated that the Greenkisns were already en route. Apparently, they were led by a rather smart Ork Boss who decided that attacking the heart of the defensive forces was the best strategy.

This prompted the Imperial leadership to implement more defensive measures because if the Orks were led by Boss or perhaps even Warboss, the worst situation that had actual brain cells and cunning would be catastrophic.

<Mostly... I have to admit that the symphony of destruction and carnage of the Imperial Fleet is something that is considered a memorable event... The Imperial Machinery is indeed beautiful, and their technology of Artificial Intelligence is something to behold.>

The Red Queen Alice observed how the Imperium's nanotechnology finished the last works on the Imperial Spaceships and the Defense Network around the Star System, which consisted of several hundred fully automated Satellites and smaller Orbital Bases.

Because of the impending attack of the Greenskins, the Imperium decided to allocate more resources to bolster the defenses of the Rylon Star System. This included modifications and upgrades of the already existing defense systems of the Rylon Star System.

"They are coming..."

Arcturus muttered as he sensed the disturbance in space due to the effects of the Dimension Empyrean. After he awakened the Dimension Empyrean, his sensibility towards anything related to the Psinic Energy was incredibly high.

A side factor of this was heightened sensitivity of this was that he could sense a disturbance in space rather accurately because everything in this existence contained Psionic Energy to some degree...

Some to higher and some to lesser.

Suddenly, one spaceship after another started exiting the Hyperspace.

Ork technology appears ramshackle and slapped together, which often is, but is as potent as any weapons used by the Imperium or other intelligent species.

Ork Technology / Ork Teknology was characterized by a constant stream of poorly thought-out experimentation and attempts to constantly outdo the competition to build the biggest gun, the largest Gargant, or the fastest Warbuggy, and also mainly by the fact that in many cases, the only reason it works at all is because of the Orks' latent Psionic Powers.

"Their spaceships look terrible..."

Just like most of their technology, even their spaceships were patched up together in rather a grotesque way and looked like wreckage and something that had already been destroyed several times.

It didn't appear like a spaceship even a bit.

<The defense systems are activating.>

When Arcturus heard the voice of the Red Queen Alice, he noticed that the defense systems of the Rylon Star System came to life and started firing red beams of pure concentrated destruction onto the incoming Orkish Fleet that was just exiting the Hyperspace.

In a split of a moment, hundreds of Orkish spaceships were turned into floating pieces of garbage and parts of the starships, as they were destroyed in an instant. Though, overall, the entire situation didn't really change at all because the Orkish Starships just kept pouring from the Hyperspace in hundreds.

Several seconds after the first salvo from the defense systems of the Rylon Star System, with the second salvo, even more of the Orkish spaceships were turned into flaming wreckage and destroyed parts; Arcturus could see that probably thousands of them were destroyed in this one.

But it was too late because the overall count of the Starships of the Greenskins that exited the Hyperspace was already over fifteen thousand, and the number was still increasing at a tremendously fast speed.

This was another kind of characteristic of the Greenskins because their fleets were massive, like, truly, truly massive. Even one smaller fleet of the Greenskisn numbered in the thousands, and this wasn't talking about the ones that were bigger.

The truly big fleets of the Greenksins had a count of starships in tens of thousands, though the majority of them were smaller starships that were just pieces of various techs patched up together, and in some truly impossible way, they were working.

This was the first time that he saw the full-fledged Greenskin WAAAGH! Fleet, he had already seen the videos of the apocalyptic scale when the Orkish WAAAGH! was attacking the Veren Republic, Eternal Imperium of the Asurya, or the Protoss Tribes, but it was nothing compared to the real thing.

The sigh when the Orkish WAAAGH! exiting the Hyperscape was something literally cut out from some movie or something because it was a completely surreal sight. From a certain point of view, it was a truly majestic image.

<It seems that the Imperial Fleet is going to engage the Greenskins.>

Red Queen commented when she noticed that the biggest ships from the Imperial Starship group started firing their main weapons, taking hundreds of Orkish starships at the moment when the enormous weapons fired their shots.

"What are those weapons?"

Arcturus asked when he noticed that the starships that destroyed many Orkish spaceships fired some of their superweapons.

<Probably some kind of superweapons of the Imperial Military, they are utilizing an experimental kind of energy, called Prism-Ener Particles, which is extremely volatile and destructive. It is extremely destructive and, dangerous and very contagious; I would advise remaining as far from the place where it exploded as possible.

Unfortunately, Obscurus doesn't have appropriate shields to protect itself from the aftermath of the Prism-Ener explosion.>

Arcturus nodded, rather impressed by the sight of destruction from the main weapons of the Juggernaut-Class Capital Ships of the Eternal Imperium of the Asurya.
