After a day of training, Lin Shen left the training camp's main gate and saw Ye Yuzhen waiting outside.

The two of them walked together to the distillery street market, casually eating some food along the way.

Unlike the battlefield, the distillery street market has no stalls during the day—all the shops are on both sides, and only at night do vendors set up their stalls in the middle of the street.

The stalls here are not as formal as those in the battlefield, with no clear division of areas, selling all kinds of stuff.

Many of the stall owners are not professionals; they might sell things hunted during the day at night, or some Mutators' old stuff they no longer needed, trying to make some money.

Ye Yuzhen changed into her usual sports outfit and looked around the stalls with curiosity, seeming to find everything fascinating.

She bought lots of shiny bracelets and necklaces, mostly made from fragments of Base Variant Creatures, not worth much money.

Ye Yuzhen also bought many bracelets, sold at ten yuan for three.

Lin Shen followed her around for a long time without seeing any Fire Seed.

"Oh, and this is for you," Ye Yuzhen said as she handed Lin Shen a canvas bag after they had strolled through the night market and as she was about to depart.

"What?" Lin Shen, somewhat puzzled, took it and opened it to find that it was full of Pet Capsules.

"Has the Mutant Sea Demon God hatched?" Lin Shen, recognizing the Pet Capsules, was instantly delighted.

"They hatched before I came and have already been tamed," Ye Yuzhen sighed. "I originally wanted you to come and get them yourself, but considering you might not visit my home again, I thought I'd better bring them to you."

Lin Shen didn't say much, pulling out two capsules and keys of the Mutant Sea Demon God General, and checked their information.

Base Change Talent: Mutated Heart of the Ocean, Mutated Wave-breaking Blade, Mutated Intuitive Understanding, Mutated Twin Demon Heart.

The attributes and skills of the two Mutant Sea Demon God Generals were exactly the same, even down to the decimal.

Normally, Crystal-based Creatures should have three Innate Skills, but they had four.

Heart of the Ocean gave them a special bonus in underwater battles; Wave-breaking Blade was a burst skill, endowing the trident with more destructive power; Intuitive Understanding was a bit special, improving combat ability after activation, the longer the battle, the greater the boost.

As for the last skill, Twin Demon Heart, the information said it enabled a psychic connection between them, the exact function of which was unclear.

Lin Shen felt this skill probably allowed them to coordinate more seamlessly; it should be useful when fighting two against one.

"Lin Shen, I'm leaving," Ye Yuzhen, standing to the side, said softly.

"You're leaving so soon? Is Madam Ye urging you back?" Lin Shen asked.

Ye Yuzhen shook her head and said, "It's not because of my mother. You've met her and probably have some understanding; a person as proud as she is wouldn't deign to restrict anyone. If she really didn't want me to see you, she would find ten thousand ways to keep us apart."

Lin Shen carefully considered it, and indeed Madam Ye was that kind of person; she had never forbade him from seeing Ye Yuzhen.

"This time when I leave, it might be a long while before I can see you again, I hope we can still chat and have meals together like now," Ye Yuzhen said.

"Of course, we can," Lin Shen felt that Ye Yuzhen's words were somewhat strange, wondering whether Madam Ye had not allowed her to see him anymore, but since Ye Yuzhen had already said that wasn't the case, there naturally was no such possibility.

"We've known each other for so long, and I've never given you anything. This is my first pet, I'm giving it to you as a memento," Ye Yuzhen said as she took out a Crystal Base Egg and handed it to Lin Shen.

Lin Shen was slightly taken aback, but after thinking it over, he accepted it, then took something out and handed it to Ye Yuzhen: "Though I have quite a few Pet Launchers on me, this is the only one that wasn't taken by force, I'll give it to you."

The Pet Launcher Lin Shen gave to Ye Yuzhen was a prize from the Realm King Tower.

Ye Yuzhen took the Pet Launcher and fiddled with it for a while; she seemed to like it very much. She even held the gun with both hands, closed one eye to aim at Lin Shen, pretended to fire, and even made a gunshot sound with her mouth.

Lin Shen played along, pretending to be shot, which amused Ye Yuzhen so much that she pursed her lips and laughed.

"What time are you leaving tomorrow? I'll see you off," Lin Shen said after Ye Yuzhen finished laughing.

"You see me home, and then I see you back; if someone didn't know better, they'd think we can't bear to part," Ye Yuzhen said, blinking, "If you really care, you don't have to see me off, just find time to visit me."

"Absolutely," Lin Shen nodded.

"Then it's settled," Ye Yuzhen turned and walked into the villa. As she closed the door, she looked at Lin Shen with a meaningful expression and said, "I have a thing about cleanliness and don't like sharing things with others, especially personal items, like—a bed."

Lin Shen wanted to explain, but Ye Yuzhen had already closed the door.

Once home, Lin Shen initially wanted to go to Realm King Planet, but after thinking it over, he eventually chose not to. Instead, he set a time to teleport to Ring Mountain Planet.

With Jiweis and Death Powder, killing some ordinary First Turn Ascended Creatures shouldn't be difficult.

Right now, Lin Shen just wanted to improve Death Powder's Soul Harvesting skill, which would be very useful in the future.

With his familiarity with the area, he soon found a Ring Mountain inhabited by several Pterosaurs.

Lin Shen didn't dare to enter the Ring Mountain and fight with those Pterosaurs. He loaded a few Steel Level Pet Capsules and instead used the Angel Revolver to shoot the Pterosaurs inside.

At first, the Pterosaurs just swallowed the Steel Level pets without any intention of rushing out.

But Lin Shen kept shooting at them, and soon enough, one of the Pterosaurs couldn't take it anymore. It spat out a scimitar, glinting with blue light, and burst out of the Ring Mountain, rushing toward Lin Shen.

Lin Shen was prepared, and he rode on the Evil Dragon and fled.

After the scimitar emerged from the Ring Mountain, white steam immediately began to billow from it.

The energy of the scimitar itself conflicted with the special gases on this planet, greatly weakening the scimitar's speed and force.

Even so, the scimitar was still much faster than the Evil Dragon, and just as it was about to catch up to the Evil Dragon, Lin Shen fired Jiweis out.

Jiweis soared through the air toward the scimitar, and with the acceleration from the shot, he actually caught the handle of the scimitar with both hands.

All of the dragon markings on his body lit up, and he stubbornly held onto the scimitar, no matter how it flew through the air, it couldn't shake him off.

The Pterosaur, realizing its Life Base had been caught, could no longer endure and flew out of the Ring Mountain.

Lin Shen, riding the Evil Dragon, reached out for Death Powder, turned it into a spear, and watched the Pterosaur radiating blue light, ready to strike at any moment.
