"Yes. I won't allow you to die!" She said softly.

"Hmm!" Seth frowned, "So, you are threatening me now. To never be free while knowing you can kill yourself to spell my death too. Is this Redop plan? Did he plan to sacrifice you?"

Retina's eyes welled up with tears, her face scrunched to cry but forced it down her breath, "it's one way. If I die nothing will happen to you. But if you die, a true death, I will die too!"

Seth was taken aback and he then felt mortified but he didn't avoid her eyes and asked, "You still believe we are immortals?"

"I don't know. But I don't want to be alone. My new race has a long life. If my family didn't find a way to prolong their life, they would grow old and die, and it would be me alone. But you are immortal, you won't age like us. We will be together forever."

Seth gulped down. Is this NPC? How come they have emotions this deep?

With a painful expression, Retina stood and said, "I'm having a headache, I might not deliver you food in time." She said as she eyed him.

She was about to turn, Seth called her, "Retina Iroko Hydargone, come!" She hesitated and then leaned, Seth grabbed her and pulled her onto his body.

Suddenly, Retina trembled, everything moving in the room froze, and then something alarming happened, everything became red: the wall, the tree, the grass everything became red.

Then they became grey and then an eerie white that made Seth's heart GURU Gam. A second later all things returned to normal.

Seth breathed in relief and he looked at the girl, her veins now, were bulging and filled with red. But she was a bit surprised by what happened.

"No!" Seth said out loud which startled the girls. She gaped at him, "I'm not talking to you.

But it was at that moment that Redop and the elders entered. They thought he was doing something bad to her, they tried to jump over but the stream churned up and prevented them.

"I'm alright!" She said.

"What happened to you? Why did you lose control of your power?" They asked. But she ignored them as she stood while her body swayed.

Seth looked at her wondering what kind of change that might have happened to her now that First Might affect her. But seeing a lingering smile on her face made him conclude whatever it was, is a good thing.

She looked at him and then bowed a bit before she staggered back and crossed the river and seated down. Her father caught her before she fell.

They quickly walked out with her in tandem, one elder stayed and asked Seth what happened but he was ignored.

When the elder went out, strangely he left the door open. And then the next moment, the whole world outside became deep blóod red, and then it became pale white.

'Did she lose control again?' Seth asked himself, 'what did I do to her?' He wondered worriedly.

But in another thought, Seth sprang up with a smile. He looked at the tree he was bound to, it had some fruits. Some have begun to ripen while others aren't.

"Mantle!"

Suddenly, a rusty chain sprang up from the ground and wrapped around the 4m tree and then turned into a rusty collar.

"Let my staff and I go!" Seth commanded.

The vines holding the staff came loose, and so was the one holding his arms. His staff floated toward him and Seth said, "Give me your ripe and best fruit for me!"

One closest to him fell, Seth grabbed it and stored it in his pocket, he jumped over the red stream and peeked outside.

The chain broke but the tree didn't try anything else. Seth confirmed everyone was in trance; he sprang up fast and ran toward the exit.

He just ran thinking of a correct path and his leg took him. He passed the guards' houses until he reached a large stone blocking his path and a tall guard beside him. Like everyone, the guard wasn't moving.

With his staff size-changing ability, Seth rolled the stone away and ran out as fast as he could muster due to his gravity reduction traits, he was moving fast but.

Seth ignored the dragon and ran down the hallway, but then suddenly a red shadow came and tried to touch his shadow, staff of elevation rotated in the air and transformed into a small blade which stabbed the red shadow.

The red shadow disappeared completely, all this while Seth ran far ahead and his staff folded him. With aura infused in it, Seth was able to control it from a distance.

He reached the end of the tunnel but he found himself high above a cliff, below was the red forest, and beyond was red eye town. Without hesitation, he jumped off.

With his anti-gravity and staff, he fell safely but he met with thick vines that wrapped around him faster than he could react. Not only that but his floating staff was also captured and he lost connection with it.

Some sort of energy permeated from the vine and began to seep into him. Seth's active aura surged up and enveloped him. That made him resist and also pushed forward to free himself.

To his surprise, it was very effective as the vines became weaker and he ripped them with his improved strength and then ran while he grabbed his staff.

He wasn't far ahead when something heavy landed in front of him, a small crater appeared and Seth was flung back.

"Insolent child. You think we are playing?" A manly voice said before he dashed in a blur to grab Seth but a heavy pressure emanated from Seth, pressure like from dragons. He jumped back and gawked at a glowing silver sphere floating beside Seth.

The next moment, a more terrifying pressure encased the whole valley.

The red dragon of the red valley said in a commanding tone. Seth's body stiffened and he felt compelled to turn.

[First Might]

Seth broke out of it and dashed forward, leaving behind the NPC that tried to stop him. He was one of the protectors of Redop Hidden Village

Using the staff to propel him helped increased his distant

The dragon has sense, the womb that was why he wanted Seth no matter what. Seth's body stopped moving, and he turned.
