Ten Years of Yearning. My Love, Let Me Protect You.

The first picture was of a bracelet which was made of white gold and many little rubies were engraved in it. It represented eternal love.

The second was made of gold and seven different colours of jades were placed in the middle. It looked like a rainbow flower. It represented good health and luck.

The last one was the most beautiful one. There were many precious pearls and gemstones in it and represented a long and blissful life. 

For a moment he hesitated to choose one. On the other hand, Ji Yanli was picking other jewellery to buy. It was already five minutes but she didn't get any reply from the other side.

"Boss, have you thought about which one to buy?"

"Not yet"

"Are you having difficulty choosing one?"

"..."

She didn't get any reply for a minute.

"Why don't I buy all of them? She can wear them one at a time?"

"Hmm. Bring them tonight." This time she immediately got the reply. 'Tsk tsk...'

She switched off her phone as she put it in her bag and lifted her head to face the shop manager directly.

"I want to buy all these three and the jewelleries I have selected."

"What?! Oh! I'll immediately get them packed for you, miss. Please wait for a moment."

The manager went to pack them for her personally. These things were worth a lot. It was the best day of the year for him to make so much money in a single day. He brought them to her and gave her his business card.

"Miss, if you need anything to buy in the future, please contact me." 

"OK. Thanks."

After four long hours, finally she finished her shopping and was terribly hungry. She looked at the manager of the shopping centre and told him to deliver the bags tomorrow at the given address and took the jewellery herself. 

The shopping centre's manager walked her up to her car and also gave her his card. If she bought things like today again, they would be very rich in no time. She was like a goddess of money to them. 

By then the manager told them about Ji Yanli. Every shop in there was expecting another visit from her. But she was unaware of these happenings.

Afterwards, she drove away to go to the villa.

On the way towards the villa, Ji Yanli stopped the car at a roadside coffee shop. She bought two sandwiches and one water bottle. She ate them while driving. It was past 7 pm when she reached the villa.

The place was very beautiful and she loved it very much. It was the third time she had come here. The housemaids greeted her when they saw her. Some of them were hired by her so they had grateful expressions on their faces.

"Where is he?" she asked them softly. It was obvious who she was looking for.

"Young master is upstairs. He hasn't come out from the room since afternoon." replied one of them.

"Ok" she nodded at them and went to the second floor.

She immediately went before his room and lightly knocked on it but didn't get any reply. Then she thought something aa she glanced at the side room and walked backwards. She stood before Luo Lixi's room and gently knocked at the door.

"Come in" Sheng Ruming said.

"Boss, it's me" she said and walked inside. She looked around the room. 

Even in the late hours, he was doing his work diligently. She placed three shopping bags in front of him. He cast a glance but didn't open them.

"Won't you check your precious things first?" she asked expectantly.

"Later."

"OK. I'll go now. Bye." Her excitement went down the drain. She had put so much hard work in it but he didn't even appreciate it.

She walked to the door and shot a look towards Luo Lixi.

"Did she gain conscious again?" she asked carefully.

"Not yet." there was slight grief in his voice when he told her.

She didn't say any further and walked towards the villa's main gate. She called Wang Haixiao while driving on the roads.

"Haixiao, today I have done a very big job. Do you want to know what it is?"

"What?" he was doing his work and didn't have time for nonsense. But he didn't cut the line.

"I went shopping for that woman and spent more than ten million money." she said and burst in cheery laughter.

"Do you think you'll say anything and I'll believe you?" he put aside his task and focused on the phone. 

No one could believe one could spend so much on shopping in a single day except if the thing was very rare or expensive. Or It would sound very ridiculous.

"But it's true. I've spent the boss's money and shopped for many things. I've had such fun in a long time. It was very exciting."

"Boss didn't say anything to you?" Wang Haixiao's thought was a mess. 'That was TEN millions. Does she have some divine hands or something?'

"Nope. By the way, I'm very famished right now. I didn't even have my lunch today. Why don't we go to a restaurant? Will you come?"

"OK. I'll make a reservation for ten pm at the riverside restaurant. We'll go there today." he also wanted to know the details.

After Ji Yanli went away, Sheng Ruming looked at the bags. He cast his works aside and took the bags. The bracelets were placed in three different boxes. 

He opened all of them and placed them before him. Those were very beautiful and shone brightly under the room light. He took them one by one and checked them all carefully. 

The one with rubies was a little heavy and the jade bracelet was not suitable for her to wear now.  He looked at them seriously for a long time and chose the one with pearls. Its colour was very soft and it was very light. 

Sheng Ruming took it and went up to Luo Lixi. He gently held her right hand and wrapped the bracelet on top of her cut mark. It looked very beautiful in her pale hand.
