"Take this bowl away and next time don't try to do anything without my permission." he told her in a sharp voice as he shot her a frosty glare.

The maid shuddered slightly and immediately apologised.Then another woman came and took away the bowl. She  placed a clean bowl in front of him. He took his food by himself and in less then ten minutes, finished his meal.

After that he went upstairs and walked into Luo Lixi's room.

Sheng Ruming entered the room and went to the bedside. He stared at her as he had a sad expression on his face. He slowly walked beside her and kneeled down.

 He clasped her right hand tightly as if he was afraid of something. Now he could see her whenever he wanted. It was like a dream and nobody was there to interrupt.  It was quite hard to imagine about it before two months.

"Lixi, you can hear me, can't you? Please wake up. I know you can feel me. Look, I'm holding your hand. Can you feel the warmth?" his voice was shaking lightly. He really wanted to hug her in his embrace but couldn't. The scene was very depressing. Only her silence greeted him when he talked with the motionless woman in front of him.

Sheng Ruming is a man countless women wished to marry. His status, background, wealth, personality... almost everything is good about him. His family is also very well respected in the high society. 

Many people think he is the most blessed person they have ever known. Also he is the only child of his family. So all the family fortunes will be his in the future. But it was very different many years ago.

Sheng Ruming sat down on the floor and leaned at the side of her duvet. He rubbed the cut mark on her hand gently. Suddenly he felt it was irritating. He didn't want to be reminded of her sufferings every time his sight fell on her hand. Thus he took out his phone and called Ji Yanli.

"Hey, boss. Do you have any instruction to say?"

"Hmm. I want to buy a bracelet for her. Get the best designs for me. It should be of top quality and as much as light. There shouldn't be another piece like that"

"..." 

Ji Yanli returned to the company earlier and went to work instantly. Many important projects were waiting for her to check them. She had work very hard to finish countless matters and here he was...sigh!

Ji Yanli just listened silently.

"Also, buy some top quality clothes for her. Those which would suit her. You're good at shopping. Buy as much as you can and turn a whole room of the villa into a closet for her. "

"Boss, why don't I also buy some shoes for her? She will need them when she wakes up." she began to tease him but he didn't notice anything from her voice. He glanced at Luo Lixi and while twirling her locks of hair with his fingers, he answered.

"Okay."

"What about daily necessities like lotions,  creams, face care products etc? She is a woman you know..."

"Okay." He answered right away as he planted a gentle kiss on Luo Lixi's cheek.

"What about bags, makeups, lipsticks,...?"

"Okay." 

she was speechless and hesitated to speak again, "Jewelleries...?"

"Ok, these things are expensive and you don't have much money. I'll send one of my cards by someone to you, you can use it to buy those things for her. Also buy all top quality and branded things. Use as much as you like." she was just teasing him yet he agreed without any hesitation.

"Heh...hehe! Boss can I ask you something?"

"Yes, you can." This time Sheng Ruming was staring at her eyelashes and imagined what if she wakes up suddenly.

"Who is she? I can tell, you definitely KNOW her! What is her identity? Tell me. Hurry…" Even if she had some doubts she wanted to hear it from his mouth.

He didn't answer her immediately. "When the time is right, you'll know."

"Uh! Okay." Well, what could she say otherwise?! She was really curious about this woman who had popped out of nowhere. Their boss also seemed to have a thing for her. As a secretary shouldn't she know everything about her boss?!

"Get everything done as soon as possible. You have work to do in the office too. Get it done quickly."

"Got it." She sat upright in her chair.

He cut the line and focused on Luo Lixi's face. He began to rub her temple gently with his forefinger..

One of the office workers looked at Ji Yanli and asked, "Sister Yanli, was it the CEO?"

"You know, our CEO is very hardworking. He can't rest easy if any work remains unsolved. Earlier he called me and gave some instructions for a matter."

"You must be very busy then." 

"Not at all. Haha!"

"Good luck!" The office worker thought her behaviour was a little odd. Then she focused on her own work.

"Thanks." Afterward ,Ji Yanli focused on her work. There was a bitter smile on her face.

'Our CEO doesn't even fear that I won't be able to finish my work here and will bring the company's performance down. He's really busy. Huh! Whatever...' Ji  Yanli thought while sulking inwardly. She immediately took the most important files from her desk and started to sort them out. 

After one hour, a person came to her with Sheng Ruming's shopping card and it was a limited addition that she wanted to get one for a long long time.

"..." When she looked at it she was shocked to death. 'He had it but I didn't know!'

She stood up slowly and took it gently in her hand as if it was a treasure and stared at it for a while. She gave thanks to the person who brought it and wished him farewell.

After working for two hours, she heaved a long sigh and abruptly stood up. She flung her hairs backwards, adjusted her dress, took her purse and started walking towards the door in her high heels.

"Miss Yanli, you have finished your work so early today?" A male worker asked her when he saw she was going outside.

"Yes" She nodded as she flashed him a stunning smile and went away. The worker clutched his chest. It was such a heavy blow to him! He thought his heartbeat immediately rose up to a threatening rate.

She was beautiful and excellent in her profession. Many male workers had a crush for her but they didn't dare to propose to her. She was way better than them all.
