The Ninth Night Part 1
Sean held Joyce firmly and helped her out of the room under everyones concerned eyes.
Her footsteps were a little shaky. With Seans support, she still trembled as she walked.
It was getting dark, and her body was so weak that she could barely stand even with Seans support. Her head rested lightly on his shoulder, like she was leaning into his arms.
Is your wife all right? a farmer asked kindly.
She will be fine, thank you."
Where is your manor located? I'll send some people over tomorrow and have them teach your people how to farm.
Sean glanced at the man next to them and replied for Joyce, Thank you. I'll pick them up tomorrow.
With that, he saw a few people come out looking worried. He simply picked her up into a princess carry and quickly walked up to the carriage to leave.
The farmer said goodbye to them, and Sean focused on the person next to him who was already ripping off his collar and biting the side of his neck. The pain from her fangs piercing him caused him to frown slightly. He looked down at the little girl who was pressing him in the corner of the carriage. He raised his hand and gently rubbed her soft hair.
Slow down.
This time, there was a moment of clarity in Joyce's mind, and her flickering eyes looked up at his face.
She was whispering something.
Sean did not catch it and patiently murmured back, Hmm?
Joyce's eyes once again landed on the bright red pearls of blood dripping down his clavicle because she had let go of his neck. The darkness in her eyes surged, and she gently lowered her head to use her tongue to lick the blood.
Sean's eyes dimmed a bit from her unconcerned movements.
It was obvious that she was the one who forcefully held him at first. Yet, now she was leaning against his shoulder like a soft kitten who had satisfied her desires.
Back then, he didn't turn her into a cat under the watchful eye of the farmers, nor did he do that now. Instead, he gently stroked her long soft hair as if she was a kitten in his arms.
Blood Joyces strained voice had a slight tremor as she clenched his collar. The farm the farm smells like blood
Sean was surprised.
Let's go back to the farm
Sean composed himself, he would not allow it. He said, I'll take you back to the castle first.
But the smell of blood this time is even stronger than last time, and I'm afraid the farm will Joyce sat up again. We'll sneak in, they won't find us. x.
Sean frowned slightly at her words. He seemed to be worried about the farm, and after briefly muttering to himself, he stopped the carriage to turn back to the farm.
Joyce looked at the vampire who had been driving them the entire time
She suddenly hesitated to think Sean is a captive held inside the castle, but how come the vampires are listening to his orders now and even though I wanted to go back to the farm, why do I still need Sean's consent?!
At this thought, Joyce looked at him, and mumbled to herself, Why do I need to ask for your permission on whether I can go back or not?
Sean raised his eyebrow and looked at her while she was deep in her thoughts.
But Joyce was never the one to waste her thoughts on such minor matters, especially when there was still a bit of blood trickling down his neck.
Gulp. Joyce swallowed her saliva. Even though she felt full now, she could not resist the delicious temptation in front of her and pounced on him again.
But this time, as soon as she moved, she was turned into a kitten.
Joyce was shocked. For a moment she forgot the deliciousness in front of her, she bared her teeth as the ends of her fur stood up.
The corners of Seans lips rose. He reached out and rubbed the kitten's head, whispering, No one else can discover you like this.
Do you really think it's that easy being a cat than a person?!
Isnt it easier?
Joyce didn't bother to argue with him over the question of being a cat or a human. She watched the drops of blood near Sean's collarbone fall. Then, she used her two short hind legs to lunge forward and stop the rich delicacy from being wasted.
Sean looked at the kitten in his arms trying to reach his shoulder. His eyes softened in the shadows of the swaying trees outside the window.
He reached out and gently stroked its chin.
The kitten seemed to purr with dissatisfaction, but what could she do when there was a delicacy in front of her? She seemed to be used to his touch and did not even bat an eye.
Sean's fingertips lightly caressed the bottom of the kittens soft chin, and there was a rare moment of carefree serenity in the fast-moving carriage.
As if he had slowly become dissatisfied with the softness of the kitten's chin, his fingertips gradually slid towards the white and fluffy belly
Joyce froze as she was licking the blood.
Her face flushed in an instant. Filled with anger and embarrassment, she tilted her head and bit his wrist. Although it was just a kittens fluffy belly to Sean, to her
He raised his eyebrow slightly at her reaction. The carriage slowly came to a stop at the edge of the farm. Joyce loosened her bite, and Sean looked away. He maintained a dignified expression as he took the cat into his arms and got out of the carriage.
Over there.
Joyce looked up from his arms and towards the farm in the darkness.
This time, instead of going through the main entrance, Sean jumped onto the farms tall brick fence and sprinted towards a shack with flickering lights.
