The Extra’s Survival: Logging into the Game Master System!

Chapter 87: [Origin!]

[Congratulations! Contract Successful! Annabeth Percy Milliam has been contracted!]

[You have successfully formed a contract with a being with [Immortal] Gift!]

[+20,000 GM Points will be awarded!]

[Noticing that the being has been cursed with [Corrupted Energy!]! Would you like to [Purify!] that energy?!]

[The Purified Energy will either be Converted into Origin Energy or will be converted into 200 Million GM Points!]

'Hmmm? Origin Energy? Also... 200 Million, huh? Can't I divide it into half?' I thought and as if listening to my thoughts, the System gave me another message.

[Would you like to convert 50% of the energy into 100 Million GM Points and 50% into Origin Energy?!]

I looked at that girl, Annabeth with a deep look before pressing [Yes!]. Since she can't harm me now, I don't think I need to worry about anything.

It's not like a big deal...

Is what I thought until I saw the changes in her body. The foul energy that was coming off from her, vanished in an instant as a strange form of energy appeared instead. I gulped, and so did she.

Observing her own body, she looked at the strange energy in her body with a dazzled look. It was basically glowing golden right now before the light dimmed.

Something was off about it... she felt... more powerful now?

'Shit! This is totally out of script! And what the hell is Origin Energy? Why didn't I get it when I was being corrupted by that Vampire?' I thought as I read through the entire thing.

It was unfair! Totally unfair!

Wondering what are the changes that occurred in her skills, I looked at her Mana based skill but... it wasn't there. Except another skill was present in its place.

[Skill: Origin Formation!

I gulped as I looked at the changes. All of her skills were upped by one, with she having 2 SS-Grade Skills and 3 S-Grade skills in her arsenal. Did I just evolve a monster? It was a good thing that she can't harm me... or there was nothing that could have saved me.

"What... is this?" She asked as she looked at those changes. Her eyes widened in disbelief as she looked in my direction for answers. All those changes were unbelievable... especially the fact that her [Gift] was upped by 5 Grades at once. Something she just told me that it was impossible.

I then looked at my [Game Master System] before typing something using my thoughts as I sent a message to her. Since she was under my contract, I think I can send a message to her directly through the game master system.

[Like it? Consider it a gift for coming under my contract. This should solve your problems for the time being. Though can you help this guy in exchange? His [Gift] can affect the System directly and I would need him for something in the future]

"Huh?" She then looked at the message that appeared in front of her. Reading it, she blinked a couple of times before turning to me. A bit shocked when she read what she read, but then she seemed like she understood the gist of the situation.

Tightening her fist, she spoke out,

"I will. Whoever you are. I owe you my life. You have rekindled the hope that was dead ages ago. I do not know what you are or who you are but... Thank you. Thank you for your kindness.

I know the contract says that I need to do only one quest per year but... I will fulfill all that you give me."

She then turned to me, as her eyes turned warm and she continued,

"Thank you. Meeting you might have been a fate but, if not for your kind gesture, I might have never been able to get this opportunity."

She bowed to me before speaking," Crowley. I will help you in whatever you need. Though I will need to go out from time to time to conquer the tower, for the most part, I will try to help you as much as you can. From now on, you can depend on me as much as you want to."

'This turned out much better than I expected. Now what shall I-'

"Such purity!" A voice came from a distance as I looked at the person standing there in a white dress. She was the same girl that was standing on the tower in the Safe Zone. I think her name was Nora, was it? I couldn't sense her at all.

"The Soul of the First Floor? Did she cross the rift?" Annabeth mumbled as she looked at Nora.

'Soul of the first floor?' My interest piqued as I looked at Nora, while she kept staring at Annabeth with a deep look in her eyes. It's as if she was fascinated by her.

'Huh?'

She then vanished. Before appearing right in front of Annabeth. Alarmed Annabeth was about to punch her but in the next second, she calmed down. No... more like... Annabeth was neutralized.

"Such purity," Nora spoke again before turning to me. She smiled as she spoke,

"You are the guy who was there on the tower that day? You have grown much stronger than before."

Annabeth was silent. As if she was unable to make even a single move. Nora just chuckled as she answered,

"Don't worry. It's just the tower's strange way of protecting me. Anything that tries to harm me, gets [Turned Off] for a few minutes. Strange, isn't it? Ah! Since you are a player you will soon forget about me.

Why am I even telling you this?"

'Will I? I don't know,' I just looked at her for a few seconds before asking,

"Why would I forget?"

"It's the rule. It's a way of the tower to make sure people can't plan against me. Though I believe there is a way to bypass that given a few do remember my name and my face. Just like this girl here. She was such a lovely child but looking at how she was ready to attack me, I think she doesn't remember anything about the time we spent," she spoke with a hint of sadness in her eyes.

"I will take my leave from here. I think your name was Crowley, right? I will remember that," she spoke as she began walking.

"I wonder if I can get to eat an apple pie there," she mumbled to herself as she kept walking towards the city. As for me, I just stood there watching her until she vanished from there.

"Hey! Why are you in a daze?" And Annabeth, who turned back to normal, observed me with a deep look. She was still happy with the changes in her system, and was pretty much smiling all the time.

'She really forgot, huh?' I thought as I looked at her before asking something,

"You said you would help me out, right? Is it all right if I ask you a few questions?"

Let's not focus on Nora, immediately. It seems like she was going to stay in the castle for sometime. So the next thing which I can do is ask about everything else that has been bugging me.

"I don't think I can answer everything but I will try my best to answer as much as I can," she spoke and I nodded before beginning to ask the first question,

"How did you find me? Or how did you get to know about me?"

...

[Location: First Floor!]

"What do you mean you can't find her?!!" Clair shouted as loud as possible at her servants. Under usual circumstances, she would find Nora to help her out for any out of place Anomalies occurring within the First Floor.

The constraints due to new players, the strange corruption energy, the descendants of any higher being into the first floor. Most of the things were not something that Clair could handle alone.

Hence these were the times that she asked help from Nora, in exchange for spending time with her. The fact that she, being an Admin, had the exception of remembering Nora, helped a lot.

Clair was Nora's only friend, whether she liked it or not. So Nora being absent was something that she didn't understand from a logical point of view.

'Just where she could be? Do I need to search the entire First Floor manually?' Clair sighed as the work was already piling up. She didn't like the fact that she was going to waste time all over again searching for Nora.

"I am going to punish her by not talking to her for a decade!" She spoke as she began moving out of the Admin's office. And rather than trying to find her, she decided to finish the job by herself.

The difficulty might surely be up by a factor of 3 or even 4. But it wasn't something that was impossible to do.

"Just you wait, Nora. You are going to regret it," Clair vowed as she moved towards the unexpected guests from the higher floors whom Nora should have been handling.
