Chapter 134 - Five Beast Totem
Chapter 134: Five Beast Totem
After all the weapon events were over, Aakesh only had 178 participants until now. It was still very far from the target of 2000 participants, but he didn't worry, as there were still many events left and it was only the first day. The events with greater rewards were yet to come.
"Let's start the next event," Aakesh announced as he had just sent Evelyn with an Immortal level lance.
The next moment, a Tiger's roar echoed in the store, as a White Tiger almost the size of a mountain appeared on the platform. Despite the giant size of the tiger, it didn't look like it had taken up a lot of place on the stage.
Many in the crowd stood up from their chair and knelt down, showing their reverence to the white tiger.
Since there were countless peoples in the Multiverse, there were also various religions. One such religion prayed to the five beast totem. The totem represented the Azure Dragon of the East, the Vermilion Bird of the South, the White Tiger of the West, the Black Tortoise of the North, and the Yellow Dragon of the Center.
All five beasts belonging to the five beast totem were Primordial creatures. Since they were immortals, they sent their clones to play in the Primal and Sacred dimensions.
One such time three trillion years ago, the clones of these primordial beasts met, and a battle erupted in between of them to see who was the most powerful out of them. Since their actual body was Immortal and was one of the few beings in the Multiverse except Devas to have the trait of Imperishability, so they could never find who was the strongest in their midst.
But their clones had no such problems, so they fought to see who was the most powerful. Their battle extended from one world to various worlds, then galaxies, then superclusters, and at last, it engulfed several universes.
After having battled for consecutive days, no one came out as the sole winner from the five of them. So they decided to create their factions and decided to see who had the most intellect and could build the strongest army.
Their armies then fought for millions of areas under their respective banners, but no one came out as a clear winner. Yellow Dragon had the strongest soldiers, but his army wasn't able to crush any of the other four troops without losing all of his soldiers.
The soldiers still fought for the beasts, but they didn't know that the beasts had gotten bored by this petty fight, so they had left around millions of years ago, and they had been fighting for nothing.
One of the generals in the Azure Dragon camp understood this fact. They haven't seen the leaders of their respective factions or hadn't gotten a direct order for millions of years. They were only fighting on their own to show the supremacy of their leader.
The general slowly rose in ranks and reached the topmost position of the chief of the Azure Dragon army. When he reached the top, only then did he find out that it was known to all the top leaders that the beasts had already left and they were fighting on their own, but they still continued as it granted them a feeling of immense power.
He couldn't let it continue, so he started finding like-minded officers in all five camps. Using schemes and betrayals, his group overthrew the chiefs of the other armies, and people who thought like him became the chiefs.
After reaching that step, all the five army chiefs decided to join together and create a religious group, 'Five Beast Totem'. The religion grew wide and famous due to the power it held, and many people of different universes and races started following it and believing in the five beasts. Five beast totem is currently one of the top organizations of the Primal dimension and control more than trillion universes, with millions of Immortals waiting to ascend in their midst.
The White Tiger Aakesh had prepared for the event was one of the low-bloodline descendants of the clone of the White Tiger. Aakesh captured it for the event. He was confident that it would raise the number of participants by several folds.
"For the next event, you would face your mirror clones..." Aakesh announced.
For this event, every Participant would start from level zero and fight their mirror clones. As their levels increase, similarly, the level of mirror clone would increase. The one who would win the highest number of battles would win the event and get the White Tiger as a pet.
"Why don't you take me as your pet instead of me being their pet?" The White Tiger complained, seeing Aakesh giving him as a reward without even asking for his consent.
It sounded roar to everybody, but Aakesh understood what the tiger wanted to say since he knew the language.
The beasts followed a different cultivation system than humans. They had eleven levels, the same as the Qi cultivation system.
Until Level 8, they were simply referred to by their level. Level 9 was Beast King, Level 10 was Beast Emperor, and Level 11 was Beast Monarch, the level equivalent to Immortal. Their levels were also divided into three grades, initial, half, and complete. The White Tiger was currently a half Level 7 (Void Forging in Qi cultivation system), so it couldn't speak the language of other races. It could only do so after reaching the Beast king level.
Aakesh ignored the tiger's complaint and announced, "The participation fee for this event is ten ordinary Primal stones."
People sitting in the crowd sucked cold breath after hearing the price of the participation, but still, more than 100 people raised their hands with ten ordinary Primal stones in their hands.
The group of George, Evelyn, and Lenna also participated in the event because the tiger was only currently a Level 7 beast.
Even though it was only the descendant of the clone of the Primordial White Tiger, but still his blood flowed through the tiger's veins. The tiger was sure to reach Beast Monarch and then had a 50% chance to ascend to the Sacred dimension, so how could their group miss the opportunity.
Aakesh counted the number of participants and found 242 participants were going to participate and compete for the White Tiger.
