The Founder of Qi Cultivation, Reincarnates?

Chapter 455 452- I Remember (5)

"Bastard!"

Mu Fan as if recognizing this person despite them covering their appearance, roared out and flew up along with Jun and the others.

Dai Hee after being knocked back was caught off-guard by the strength of the attack. Whoever it was, this person was by no means weak.

As the mysterious figure's second saber attack came toward him, Dai Hee narrowed his eyes. Instead of retaliating with his sword, Dai Hee balled up his fist and punch forward.

BANG!

With his fist emanating a black starry light, the void trembled as a terrifying force burst forth and clashed with the masked person's saber.

Dai Hee immediately went to retreat, but from the dust came a glowing red saber stabbing towards the space between his eyebrows.

This person refused to let up.

But Dai Hee as if predicting this sudden attack shifted his head to the side and used his sword to parry the saber.

However, Dai Hee's eyes flickered and he moved once again to use the handle of his sword to deflect a fly dagger that came from the shadows.

This person wasn't alone, he had help.

As soon as this was discovered, several people in black robes hiding their appearance leap out of the shadows to block Yang Su and the others.

After Dai Hee deflected the dagger, the person wielding the saber took advantage of his distraction to attack once more.

Ding!

Dai Hee was still somehow able to block his attack like he could tell it was coming.

Having this happen to him once again, the saber wielder looked at Dai Hee with narrowed eyes through his mask.

Suddenly all the killing intent this person was releasing towards Dai Hee vanished.

Dai Hee's pupils constrict upon sensing this, but he didn't have time to ponder on that as another flying dagger came from the shadows to attack him.

Up until this point, Dai Hee was at a clear disadvantage but had managed to hold out. However, after deflecting this second dagger the saber wielder attacked once again.

But something was different this time. This person's attack held no killing intent, he was depressing it.

Dai Hee's timing to respond to this particular attack was off and it looked like his ability to sense an attack hadn't worked.

Dai Hee took the slash to his chest; having blood spurt out like a fountain. Luckily Dai Hee had managed to shift his body a little so the wound wasn't too deep to damage his internal organs.

"Master!"

Jun yelled upon seeing this.

With a thought, two pairs of pure white wings appear on Jun's back before his figure disappeared from the encirclement of the black-robed figures.

Jun appeared next to Dai Hee, who had fallen to the ground just in time for the saber wielder to deal the killing blow.

"Shiming, do you have a death wish!!"

Jun roared out towards the figure and was ready to stab out with his spear, but a hand suddenly grabbed his shoulder stopping him.

"Kun Peng boy, let me."

Xian had appeared out of Jun's shadow to Jun's dumbfoundment.

After stopping Jun from attacking, Xian raised his hand and snapped his finger just before Shiming saber reached him and Jun.

Immediately after the snap, Shiming's saber halted and he swiftly shifted his head to the side.

In that space where his head was, the space resembled a piece of paper that was crumbled up.

Shiming immediately retreated and stared at Xian with a solemn expression behind his mask.

"Tsk, I was planning on crushing your head with that attack, too bad."

Xian said while taking a step forward.

"You bastard, what are you doing here?!"

Jun suddenly yelled at Xian and pointed his spare at him.

Xian in response didn't bother turning around and instead said while massaging his neck.

"Do you really want to add someone like me to your list to fight before the night ends? I'll take care of Shiming, you can take my other half and leave."

Jun hearing this, turned to look at the pale face of Dai Hee before he asked.

"Other half, what are you talking about?"

"Hm, you know what I'm talking about. I heard enough when I was in your shadow to know who that really is, though I had my suspicions before the conversation from earlier confirmed it. That bastard is my other half, if he dies it'll be like losing a part of myself."

"Wha-You're crazy."

Jun said after listening to Xian's nonsensical words.

"Haha, maybe your right. But you'll know how I feel after finding someone who truly understands you, and that bastard gets me. Now leave, and make sure my other half returns after he takes that pill."

Jun was seen frowning, but he knew he would never understand Xian as he was crazy, so he just hurriedly turned and approached Dai Hee to lift him up.

From the shadows came several more people who were with Xian. They faced off with Shiming's men to allow Yang Su and the others to retreat.

After watching them escape, Shiming turned to glare at Xian.

"Why are you helping them?"

"Why not?"

Xian immediately responded while shrugging his shoulders.

Seeing his nonchalant attitude after interrupting his plans, Shiming's dislike for Xian increased even more.

"Retreat!"

Instead of fighting to get past Xian and his men, Shiming chose to retreat. But not before sending a large saber arc in the air to light up the night sky.

"This bastard."

Xian said with an angry smile.

As that saber strike rose into the air, dark silhouettes lurking in the shadows nearby pounce in its direction.

Xian sighed and said.

"Fine, this is just more work anyway."

After saying this, Xian's body melded with the surrounding shadows. Soon after, loud screams began echoing out in the surroundings. They almost sound like the wails of ghosts that haunt the night.

….

..

'Cough! Cough! Cough!'

Dai Hee let out a violent cough as his knees buckled.

He had refused help from Jun but it could be seen he was too weak to walk on his own.

Yang Su who was next to him quickly catch him. However, Dai Hee forcefully endures the wound on his chest as he pushed out of his hold.

"I-I'm fine, I don't need any more help."

"But-"

Yang Su went to speak, but Dai Hee suddenly snapped.

"Yang Su! I said I don't need any help!!"

Dai Hee then shrugged off Yang Su's hold and walked forward.

Yang Su meanwhile had frozen stiff.

For a moment, he thought Li Shen was angrily yelling at him, not Dai Hee.

Yang Su didn't know whether to be happy or sad about this.

The others had noticed it too, the way how Dai Hee had called Yang Su with such familiarity. But Dai Hee himself didn't seem to notice, instead he began apologizing.

"I-I'm sorry for yelling, but I can not receive any more help from you, else I won't be able to repay back such a large debt. I will be leaving now."

It was natural for Dai Hee to behave like this. To him, these people were risking their lives by helping him, but they were doing so because they thought he was someone else.

But he wasn't that person, so he felt bad receiving their help.

Like before, Dai Hee said goodbye and was about to leave, but someone who hadn't said a word to him until now suddenly step forward.

Dai Hee paused in his steps, and looked at Lu Yue who was blocking his path.
