The Infinite Mystery

"Qin Feng!" Seeing Qin Feng not retracting back his killing intent, Jia Lan called out Qin Feng's name seriously.

Only when Qin Feng heard Jia Lan did he came back to his mind and retracted back his killing intent and apologizes to Jia Lan.

Jia Lan did not say anything. She just nodded her head and helped Lin Hui stand up.

"Wait for me here, don't go anywhere!" Jia Lan looked at the mouth of the cave and said before going inside the cave to look at the beetles whom Qin Feng had talked about before.

Inside the cave, when she saw the corpses of hundreds of beetles, she was so shocked that she could not help but take a deep breath.

Previously, when Qin Feng told about him killing a group of beetles, she only thought that there would mostly be ten or so beetles in that group but after seeing the corpses of hundreds of beetles, she could not help but revaluate Qin Feng's strength in her heart.

When she arrived deep inside the cave, she saw the corpse of the Silver Beetle. Checking the corpse of the Silver Beetle, Jia Lan found that what Qin Feng said was true. It did have the strength equal to an Advance Battle Spirit Warrior.

After observing the corpse of the Silver Beetle for a long time, she searched the small cave but did not find anything, so she came out of the cave.

As for how Qin Feng managed to kill the Silver Beetle, she was very clear about it. According to her, Qin Feng must have used his Thunder Spear to raise his cultivation and killed the Silver Beetle.

"Qin Feng, there is no need to explore this world anymore. Let's move together!" Said Jia Lan.

"Ok!" Qin Feng nodded his head in response.

_ A Few days later_

It was the last day and tomorrow, all the students along with their teachers have to go out.

For these few days, Jia Lan led her students to venture deep into the forest. It turns out that this world actually only has a big forest and there was no other piece of land.

Inside the forest, there were many types of insect-type beasts. Jia Lan let her students fight these beasts and gain some experience.

As for Qin Feng, whenever he stepped out to fight, he fought like a pro. It was as if he was already very experienced with fighting which made Jia Lan surprise.

But when she thought of the hundreds of beetles, she thought that he gained his experience while fighting those beetles.

It was already night. After finding a safe place, Jia Lan said, "We will rest here and tomorrow, we will go back to earth."

All the students nodded their heads and began to rest.

Two hours later, Qin Feng suddenly opened his eyes. He looked around and saw all the students were sleeping. Jia Lan was no exception, she was also sleeping which really surprised Qin Feng.

The few days that he spent exploring this world along with Jia Lan and other students, Jia Lan never let her guard down. While other students were sleeping, she always keeps guarding the students so that no accidents happen.

But right now, she was also sleeping which really made Qin Feng surprised but soon, he discovered that something was wrong with the air.

There was some sort of smell in the air which made him dizzy but because of some reason, he became clear-headed once again. He was surprised because this thing was happening again and again with him.

He could not understand what was happening but at this moment, his gaze fell on his right hand, and saw the Infinity Symbol shining with a dim blue light.

He immediately understood that the Infinity Symbol was not letting him fall asleep. Whenever he was about to fall asleep because of the smell in the air, the Infinity Symbol made him clear-headed, not letting him fall asleep.

He stood up and looked around but did not find anything. He thought of waiting here and protect the students. He tried to wake up Jia Lan but no matter what he did, Jia Lan never woke up.

She was obviously asleep but it was as if she has lost her consciousness, no matter what Ye Xiao did, he failed to wake her up.

Suddenly, he heard the sound of footsteps. He listened carefully and assumed that it was the footsteps of some sort of beast and there was only one beast that was coming toward his group.

Not long after, he saw a shadow coming toward them. When it came near enough, Qin Feng saw that it was a very strange beast. It had six legs and a three meters long body. There were three red eyes on its head while two pairs of light green wings were growing out on its back.

It was clearly an insect-type beast but he could not recognize it. It was spewing out some sort of green gas from its mouth which made the people feel dizzy and fall asleep.

"You... Stop there!" Qin Feng saw that it was about to swallow a student. He hurriedly shouted and pounced toward the beast which startled that beast. That beast retreated back quickly and stared at Qin Feng with its three red eyes.

Qin Feng quickly arrived in front of the student that was about to be swallowed by the strange beast. It was fortunate that Qin Feng reacted in time and save the student otherwise that student would have been inside the beast's stomach right now.

What surprised him the most was that he was actually unable to see through this beast. This beast was clearly very powerful, even more, powerful than the Silver Beetle.

Although this beast was even more powerful than the Silver Beetle, it did not attack Qin Feng rashly.. It kept staring at Qin Feng as if it was trying to see how powerful Qin Feng was.
