The Kidnapped Bride

Chapter 490

Chapter 490: Separated

“It was at that time, we both grew closer. I was only four years old and among everyone, my best friend was Austin who was two years senior to me at that time.”

“I was clueless about what things meant but I only knew that he is someone whom I dearly loved and cherished. We used to stay together, he used to help me in reading..writing...and I...I... helped him in tying his long hair..” Olivia was telling honestly without missing a beat in between.

As if,she was now interested to simply blurt out everything she held herself.

She could not wait for her own soul to come out from this cage of lies and the web which is named Olivia....because she isn’t even the real Olivia..

Jennifer didn’t pressurize Olivia even a bit anymore.

But her heart was causing tremendous pain and the cages for the two young children who had lost their innocence just because of the cruel world.

They missed how to have a parent’s love..they missed several things, all because the hardships of their lives had struck them at an early stage.

.....

“Long hair? Austin has long hair?” Jennifer can’t believe that the man even had long hair at once, to which Olivia nodded her head, “We rarely got the haircut in that orphan home so he used to have long hair, but mine were alway slonger.”

“We were inseparable for years and everyone in the orphan home understood this. Even the teachers, maids..and helpers, caretaker, all realized and never let us leave each other.”

“Whenever I used to miss my parents, he alway sat by my side to make sure I didn’t cry and did not miss my parents. My nightmares... trauma..he is the one who consoled me throughout there.”

From Olivia’s each sentence, Jennifer could realize how close their bond used to be.

Infact, how Olivia softly described her memories laid down how much she cherished them till this date.

Even though noe she has hatred for him..there is a tone of the softness that still exists among all.

“Austin and you..were you together till when?”

“We were fifteen and thirteen when reality struck both of us all together. And initially, it was for him and then for me.” Oliva answered with a deep sigh escaping her lips.

All those thoughts drive her to the edge of the tears.

The sight in her old thoughts was still enough to paralyze her at this spot. “One day, our cartacker came to both of us and at that time,we were playing in the garden.”

“He was telling me how to do Yoga properly. And when the caretaker came, he took Austin Away saying that there is someone who is looking for him.”

“I was all clueless and I waited near our beds, until he came back to me by my side and sat on his knees in front of my face. At that moment..he told me that...that after so many years, his father has become successful in finding him after doing all the research.”

Gulping the saliva present in the mouth, Olivia continued to blurt things out at the much faster pace once again, “It came as a shock.”

“I was upset and even started crying when he told me that he will be going away from me. Like, I was just thirteen years old and the boy with whom I had spent my entire childhood is suddenly being snatched away from me..I..I had no idea..how to react.”

“But I believe he consoled you this time too, right?” Jenifer didn’t throw the question but only made a small guess which ultimately came true too.

Olivia had once again drunk the rest of the water to make sure her throat doesn’t go dry from so much talking.

But her nose had turned red along with her eyes. However, the courage of speaking had significantly increased over the time.

Despite the number of tears that appeared in those hollow eyes, she was still looking amazingly beautiful and relaxed.

The truth was blurting out in the soft flow, lifting all the hardships which had been suppressed for such a long time.

“I....I..had asked him to take me but he said he couldn’t because his father...is someone different. At that time, I didn’t understand what he meant and only thought he doesn’t want me anymore so he is taking himself away from me.”

“But to make up for me, Austin had promised that he will come looking for me once he becomes powerful enough.”

“I wanted security so he made one more promise and that was....he will come to the orphanage when I will be turning eighteen and take me away from here. This is how I let him go and we separated when we were just thirteen and fifteen.”

“But destiny has other plans for us because when Austin left me...and the orphanage. After an exact few months, my...father had also come back in search of me and found me in the same place...”

Hearing this all along, Jennifer’s lips were sat in straight lines. In the middle the lips parted but there was no sound and once again they were back to their original place.

In fact, her heart can’t define how happy she is to learn that both them had actually find their ways back to their homes, to their parents and loved ones.

“That is good..Austin was able to unite with his family, so were you with your family...”

As these words were said by Jenifer, another bitter smile followed along with it by Olivia who had eyes to look at Jennifer, “I wish that was true for me. Because, I was now forced to undergo another measure change in my life. Fourteen years old girl was united with her parents but....”

“...But instead of bringing happiness,it brought the responsibilities of the entire household to my head now.”
