The Kidnapped Bride

Chapter 362 - Eliminating(1)

Chapter 362 - Eliminating(1)

Hearing his words only increased Jennifer's panic state. She could feel herself almost on the edge of getting shot. "B-being followed?"

"Yes!" Javier's quick reply only made Jennifer turn her head back to see the two black-colored cars behind them.

Knowingly, it alarmed her but more than that, she felt the thick hole inside her heart

But at the same time, her mind automatically shifted to his phone when she dialed Ellen's number. The call went to the other part where she waited to be answered by him. However, that time never came since Ellen never picked up the call.

'Shit shit! I need to call him once again!' With this thought, she tapped on the calling button again when the ring went through, until she heard a small mummer from the other side, "H-HElo...?"

"Ellen!" Javier shouted his name to gain his friend's attention, in which he was successful, "What happened Javier? You sound a bit worried?"

Ellen was currently sleeping on his couch when the call came. It was a very unexpected call since he knew that Javier won't disturb his life until....there is something that needs his attention.

"Ellen, hear me out. We are being followed by two cars. Bring your car to the exit point as soon as possible. I will meet you there." With this, he signaled Jennifer to hang up the call.

But she was more worried that this wasn't the right thing to talk about. What will happen if they exchange the cars? This won't eliminate the enemies they have who are following them.

Shifting her eyes in his direction, she asked, "W-What have you done?! We Should have asked for more information from him! Some kind of h-help!"

At this point, Jennifer felt that there should be someone who can actually help them to get rid of the people behind them. But this wasn't enough for her. She had many doubts inside her mind which seemed to be turning into reality.

Javier kept his straight face when he brought the car through the different streets. He wasn't taking the normal route, simply to confuse the people behind them.

"Help? Nothing will happen if I ask for help even."

"Until help will come to us, we both will be dead meat. So, let me make them leave our backs myself." His mysterious and cold aura already lingered around his body, giving Jennifer goosebumps.

These were the last words he spoke before his hand went inside his black jacket to take the gun out of that place. It was his permanent source which he keeps to safeguard himself, and unexpectedly, this was needed today.

Lowering his window a bit, he expanded his hands outside of his window to fire the bullet at the backhand which seemed to make no difference to the people behind him.

But that wasn't enough since this was just the start of the war.

The people sitting back in those black cars also took the opportunity to use their weapons to fire at them. This scared Jennifer, thinking that the car might not be able to handle the pressure so much. "JAVIER! If you fire, they will fire too! Will t-this ca-ar..?"

"There is nothing to worry about. This car is made of top quality and protected from any harm happening. But.....I will need to do better aiming at them to make them and this isn't possible while driving...." Since he had to make sure that they don't end up crashing somewhere as well, it was almost impossible for him to purely turn around to aim.

While hearing his worry, Jennifer bit her lower lips. But then, the sound of firing from the back entered into her ears, already losing her last bit of hesitance.

"Leave the aiming on me then!"

Javier rotated his head in her direction to see her confident self which was grooming out of nowhere.

This side of hers was something that he never encountered, "Do you even know how to use a gun like this?"

"Better than you."

With this, she immediately snatched the gun out of his hands before she asked him to actually open the rooftop for herself. Since she had already taken the gun into her hands, it made Jennifer feel the butterflies in her stomach. 'Oh gosh..I'm touching it after so long..'

She can't remember the last time she used a gun, due to her own personal reason of never getting into the wrongdoings ever again. But it seems like her oath will be broken today itself.

"Are you sure Jennifer that you will be able to handle them?" Javier once again asked, only to get a nod. "Do not doubt my skills. Just wait and watch."

At last, with no further hope, Javier finally decided to do as per her saying and that was to hand over the aiming to his dear wife. "Alright. But not through the rooftop. Go through the window. Rooftops are more dangerous."

Hearing this, Jennifer didn't deny it either. She simply opened the window of her own side before she shifted herself in the position to get out of the small window.

Taking a deep breath, Jennifer first of all, closed her eyes for the next few seconds before she opened them again. But then, there was a difference in her aura, in her body language, and in her eyes.

It all changed and Javier simply kept mum about all those things. At this point, saving their lives was preferred.

She stared at his face to speak, "Do not slow down even for a minor second. Remember this."

"You just aim…" was all he spoke since his grip only tightened on his steering. His eyes were focused on the way in front of him that were small and narrow streets. It was damn difficult to pass by them and that too at a high speed but he managed to do so.

At last, Jennifer finally held the upper part of the car out of the window before she got her half body out of the car. She faced those black cars from behind as a frown and deathly glare plastered in her eyes.

'Let us see if… you survive from my aims or not…' with this thought, a giant smile curved on her lips. She pointed the gun in the direction of those black cars as her fingers wrapped around the trigger.

Jennifer's eyes narrowed slightly before, instead of aiming at their glasses, she looked at the other place.

"Aim for their windshield!" Javier spoke from behind but Jennifer shook her head in the mid-air. "You are wrong honey…"

Closing her one eye, she aimed at the place she wanted to before her fingers pulled the trigger.

BANG!

BANG!

.....

PS- Hmm.... did you guys expect this side of Jennifer? (Wink)*
