Chapter 82 Meeting Loki And Thor Part 3
Chapter 82 Meeting Loki And Thor Part 3
Loki noticed Azmond's puzzled expression and had a sudden realization. "Oh, right. I forgot that those from lower realms can't really see higher beings clearly." He flashed an awkward smile and gestured with his hand. In an instant, the indistinct figure before Azmond transformed into a man with long blonde hair.
...…..
"...What..." He came out of his stupor and backed up a few hundred meters. He was trying to understand what he had just experienced, but no matter how much he tried to recall the 'thing' he saw, he couldn't remember a single minute detail—not a single thing.
It was almost like what he thought he saw never happened.
Azmond knew that wasn't the case, but it still left him in a state of bewilderment. His gaze quickly turned up to see the figure that took his place. This person was handsome, but that was it... It was nowhere near the inscrutable phenomenon he saw a moment ago. 'Is this that being's true form? Or... is the other 'thing' his true form?' He began having dangerous thoughts.
As he was lost in thought, the elusive figure in question disappeared.
"What are you thinking so deeply about, mortal?" Loki didn't like being ignored, so he appeared right next to Azmond and tapped him on the shoulder.
He had a large, cunning smile visible on his face. He was clearly enjoying this situation quite a bit, though he would never admit that to a single soul. After all, he had to keep up his ancient, all knowing persona.
He had completely forgotten about his previously unscrupulous thoughts. His dreams of being a renowned hooligan that meandered around the woes of existence had already been put to the back of his subconscious.
He was now a man of untold wisdom and knowledge to those beneath him. However, those who personally knew Loki would find this whole charade of his a big, fat joke.
.......
Azmond came out of his brief contemplative state, only to feel a light tap on his shoulder that turned into a firm grasp.
'Well... Sh*t' He knew he was screwed when he felt that small tap evolve into something inescapable for the current him.
He wanted to move his body to get himself out of this indirect imprisonment, but he knew he stood no chance at making that hope a reality.
"I don't want you running away from me again, mortal." A flat voice sounded out.
"We have some very important topics to discuss after all." Loki spoke with a small smile.
Azmond looked behind his shoulder and saw the face his 'enemy' was making... Loki's smiling face came out in a very creepy way from Azmond's perspective. How ironic...
"Let us sit down and talk like civilized people; why don't we?" Loki was exuding amiability as a higher form of power leaked out of his hands. n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
Azmond felt this disturbance but wasn't fast enough to react, as he had already disappeared and reappeared somewhere else.
.......
Next to a large chess board, three figures were sitting around with varying emotions showing in their vastly differing features and body frames.
"You really left the mortal alive after he had entered the pocket dimension, Loki??" The first and largest of the three figures asked with clear disdain for the mortal in question.
This being was a large giant, around 7 feet tall, with medium-length red braided hair. His eyes were a light red hue that hid a deep repressed fury within them. "Yes, I have Thor. This is the only option we have if we want to make it out of this predicament in one piece." The second figure spoke with a flat tone. His level of disdain for the red giant was no less than the way he felt about the mortal.
He was a 6-foot-tall man with long blonde hair and light green eyes. He gave off the vibe of a very elegant and noble man. However, a very well concealed cunningness lay deep within those emerald like eyes of his.
"... Are you two ever going to untie me?" The indifferent voice of the third figure echoed out.
He had some form of energy barriers tied around his hands and legs. They were attaching him to some sort of elusive chair that was made out of an energy that Azmond couldn't understand...
He seemed to be unable to comprehend a lot of things these days...
"Shut up, mortal. When did you start thinking you had the privilege of conversing with gods?" Thor spoke with a hint of annoyance as he waved his large hand in front of the tied-up figure. As if he thought these sorts of hand movements worked well when trying to hush up mortals.
"..."
Azmond didn't know what to be more surprised by. The fact that these two beings thought of themselves as some sort of gods, or that this red haired 'god' was trying to silence him with hand motions that you would use against a dog...
"There is no reason to be rude, Thor. Your fiery temper is always flaring up for no reason. You need to be more composed. You could learn a thing or two from Freya, you know?" Loki's condescending voice sounded out as he brought up a very sensitive topic for the red giant.
"Don't bring up Freya again, Loki!! Or, I will add your head to my piked stick collection!!" Thor's long red hair stood on end as rage began to build up inside him.
Loki found enjoyment in poking at his brother's past. He crossed his arms as he turned his head toward the tied-up figure. That was when he realized just how hondome the human was...
'How did I not realize the absurdly good looks of this mortal before?' A puzzled look emerged on his features as he better inspected the appearance of the tied-up Azmond.
He scanned every perfect chisel and crevice of the humans face. 'This mortals looks beat even that of most gods I have seen... How is that possible...? How can a mortal compete with gods who have gone through an untold number of body transformations within their extremely long lifetimes??' Loki's expression only became more perplexed the longer he looked at Azmond.
