The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 131

131 A Little Kid?

Swish!

The next clean up done by Kyle and Dylan were done very quickly. Their abilities were simply overwhelming for these giant mutated ants. Even when there were rank 4 giant mutated ants coming, they were easily dealt with by the two of them.

Even though Dylan was technically still in the middle of rank 4, his control over his water element was very precise. It even felt as if he was calculating the force that he was using to maximize it to the fullest.

On the other hand, Kyle directly set these giant mutated ants into fire and turned them to ashes with no other remains.

It was similar with Kate.

Both of them directly eliminated their opponents, leaving nothing remained behind aside from the leftover of these giant mutated ants.

After their abilities had been used for about half, they woke Jake and Lotte. The four of them then worked together to repair the wall, consuming most of Jake’s ability before both Dylan and Kyle turned to sleep.

This time, Kyle was sleeping while holding Kate in his embrace. He leaned his back on the sofa behind him and slept right away.

“It’s good that there are sofas here for us to sleep. But why do I have to be the one to suffer so much?” Jake grumbled while holding several gray colored crystals to recover his strength as fast as possible.

.....

Lotte let out a faint laugh. “That means they trusted you enough to let you be the one to take care of the guarding.”

“There’s also you.” Jake passed a look at Lotte.

Lotte grinned and then turned to look at the leftover ashes on the ground and shook her head. She lightly waved her hand to push them towards the other room before sighing.

“You know, this changed world is really annoying.” Lotte looked at the metal wall in front of them. There were countless giant mutated ants there, intending to ram through the metal door and reached them, killing them.

Even if they didn’t understand why these giant mutated ants wanted to kill them so badly, they couldn’t just stay silent and had to fight back. But the problem was, it seemed that the number of giant mutated ants were endless.

They didn’t know how many giant mutated ants they have killed so far and how fast these giant mutated ants reproduced.

It was really tiring.

“Well, we can only try our best to survive in this world.” Jake shrugged. “Think positively. Even though we’re trapped here, we can still grow stronger as long as we kept on recovering our strength with these crystals. While it might not be as fast as those who only need to practice, but it’s still quite a considerable speed.”

Lotte smiled while looking at Jake. “Indeed.”

The two of them then stayed silent and focused on recovering their strength. After several hours, Dylan and Kyle woke up and the four of them had breakfast. During this time, the wall was still pretty sturdy and these giant mutated ants didn’t manage to breakthrough.

“How’s Little Kitty?” Lotte asked.

“Still sleeping.” Kyle basically kept his arm in the same position for so many hours to support Kate. However, he didn’t think that this was a hard thing to do because Kate was so light.

Lotte nodded and looked at Kate. She blinked her eyes. Why did she feel that the little cat was somewhat shining?

Do her eyes play tricks on her?

“Lotte?” Jake asked.

“Jake, do you think Little Kitty is somewhat shining? Is it because of the dim lighting here?” Lotte turned to her boyfriend to ask.

“Huh? Shining?” Jake turned to look at Kate and realized that there was some kind of faint glow around her body. The glow was somewhat transparent with black light thing. It was a bit strange to look at.

But this light was not really visible and seem to be rather hard to see. If not for that, they would have noticed earlier.

Kyle noticed it too and moved to the sofa. He sat down and put the little cat on his lap, intending to look at it clearly. But the moment he put Kate down, there was a flash of light around her body that was somewhat blinding yet not at the same time. The light was white in color yet the end was dark.

It looked like a combination of mist and light.

And after the light disappeared, what left was a little girl around the age of 4 to 5 years old sleeping peacefully on his lap. The little girl had a white cat ears on her head and also the white fluff tail behind her. She was wearing a plain white dress that looked like it was made out of her fur, soft and nice to touch.

She looked so adorable.

“That’s...” Jake’s jaw dropped.

Lotte was looking at Kate in disbelief and her hands were covering her mouth.

Dylan was staring with eyes wide. Even for him, this scene was so outrageous.

“...Animals can turn into human?” Jake finally yelled in disbelief. Even if the world were to be destroyed, he was sure that he would not be as shocked as he is right now. Because it seemed to destroy everything he knew.

To see a cat turning into a little kid right in front of his eyes, Jake would never believe it if not for experiencing it himself.

“Hmm?” Kate woke up, her eyes opened slowly. She sat up and used her hand to rub her eyes. “Kyle, what is it?”

Huh?

Kate felt that something was different and looked at her paws, no, not paw. What appeared in front of her was a child’s hand that was chubby and short. This caused Kate to be so stunned that she didn’t say anything else for the next moment.

Kyle was staring at Kate deeply. Looking at her familiar blue eyes that was staring at him with confusion, he could determine that she was exactly his little cat, Little Kitty.

But how in the world did she turn into a human being?

“Little Kitty?”

“It’s me,” Kate spoke up and found that her voice had also changed to that of a child’s voice. It was of high pitch and sounded both cute and adorable. “I...”

“You’re a human now.” Kyle raised his hand and patted Kate’s head. He found her so adorable when she looked like she was at loss like this. Naturally, he hoped that she will be able to stay with him even when she had changed shape.

No matter whether she’s a little cat, a little girl, Kyle felt that he still liked this little girl very much.

Kate nodded dumbly.

She looked at her hand, feeling both ecstatic and complicated. Naturally, she was happy that she could turn into a human being. But at the same time...

Why did she turn into a little kid, ah?

She was already 21 years old!

Now, she looked like she was only 4 or maybe 5 years old?

Kate didn’t know her body’s current age and only felt annoyed that she somehow turned into a little kid. She wanted to become her adult self again and not this little girl like this!

“SOOOOOOOO CUUUUUUUUUUTEEEEEEEEEEEEE!” Lotte directly screamed and wanted to pounce forward.

Kate was startled and silently hoped that she would be able to turn back into a cat. Being a human being in the face of the excited Lotte was clearly not a good option.

Poof!

A white mist covered Kate and she turned into a little cat again.

“Meow?”

Kate looked like she was at loss.

Kyle smiled and hugged Kate tightly. He glared at Lotte, who looked like she wanted to hug Kate so much that her eyes were glistening.

“She’s not for you to hug.”

“But she’s so cute! Damn it! Why does you can have such a cute little girl while I’m the one who turn into a half cat!” Lotte was dissatisfied. She would be happier if her own cat could turn into a human rather than fusing with her.

“You’re also very cute!” Jake interjected.

Lotte glared at her boyfriend before looking at Kate intensely again. “So, let me hold her! Just a bit, ok?”

“MEOW!”

Kate hissed and dug into Kyle’s embrace.

Even though Kyle felt troubled with Kate’s sudden movement, he still felt happy in his heart that this little cat chose him. He looked at Lotte and rolled his eyes. “If you want a daughter so much, go make one with your boyfriend.”

Dylan nodded. “Make one.”

Lotte was speechless.

Jake was looking at Lotte meaningfully before she directly used her ability to overturn him to the other side.

“We’re not married yet!” Lotte glared at Jake fiercely before looking at Kyle resentfully. She didn’t want to have a child yet, but she was taken by the adorable figure of this little cat.

Oh how conflicted she was.

Laying on the ground, Jake sighed deeply. Maybe he should consult his mother about how to woo his girlfriend into marrying him sooner. Hmm, maybe using the photos of the little girl’s version of Little Kitty will work?

Jake thought that he should go ask for some picture later on from Kyle.
