The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 201 - 201 Conversation

201 Conversation

“Don’t worry about me.” Kyle patted Dylan’s shoulder. “At most, I’ll be bedridden for a few days…”

“You mean hospitalized.” Dylan snorted.

Kyle laughed lightly. Indeed, he would be hospitalized since his father would be very happy to beat him up.

But then again, Kyle believed that his own ability was not that much worse from his father. Even if he had to face his father’s beating head on, he would be able to protect himself and would not end up so badly.

Though, he might end up not having any intention to fight back.

Being able to stay with Kate has become something that Kyle wanted. Their interaction so far was not how normal people would interact with each other. But he realized the affection and at the same time possessiveness that he had when he saw the little cat.

“I’m not going to let her go.”

Dylan nodded.

He had been friends with Kyle for a long time and naturally knew this man’s possessiveness. It was so strong that the others might not be able to look at him normally. But most of the time, he would hide it.

.....

So that no one knew what he actually treasured.

It was only in front of some certain people would Kyle admitted the truth.

Dylan could perceive it since his observation ability was quite strong. But then again, he was not very knowledgeable to the point that he could always know about that.

He could only guess most of the time.

“Does she know this?”

Kyle shrugged.

He was not sure that Kate knew what he actually wanted. But even if she didn’t know, he would slowly enter her life and brought her together with him. That way, she would get used to it and would not leave him.

He would never allow her to leave.

“I don’t know.”

Dylan sighed. He patted Kyle. “Your life is bound now. Treat her well.”

“When did I not treat her well?” Kyle arched his eyebrows.

He definitely treated her so well that even he himself couldn’t believe he could be that gentle. It was to the point that if he told his past self that he would treat someone so well in the future, his past self would only sneer.

After all, for him in the past, there was nothing that was so important like that.

As a selfish person, Kyle didn’t think he would actually care for others so deeply like that.

Dylan shrugged and then stood up. “Good luck.”

Kyle was stunned and looked at Dylan’s departing back, letting out a faint laugh. It seemed that his best friend was truly worried about him. As for himself, Kyle was not that worried.

Aside from some beatings he deserved, there shouldn’t be anything else.

Right?

Not wanting to think about it too much, Kyle simply tossed the matter to the back of his head.

The future is still long.

He will just face whatever was thrown in front of him bravely.

On the other hand, Lucy borrowed Kate with the excuse that the cat was so cute and she wanted to spend some time with her. Lucy brought Kate to a location a certain distance away from the others to prevent them from listening int. After that, she glared at Kate, who had no other choice but to turn into her human form in front of Lucy.

“Uh… please don’t be angry?” Kate asked tentatively while putting up a space barrier. She had the feeling that she would never be able to escape Lucy’s wrath.

“Don’t be angry?” Lucy glared at Kate. “Do you know how surprised I am when I heard that he made that damned blood contract with you? Do you think I’m so stupid like you that I can’t understand what that blood contract meant?”

Kate looked at Lucy blankly.

In the academy, she was the one who usually taught Lucy. Well, in regards to gossips and so on, she barely paid any attention, so she usually listened to the word that Lucy said since she was more well informed.

“Uh, I know?”

“You know what?” Lucy rolled her eyes. When she heard that there was something called blood contract, she naturally went to inquire about it. It was a contract between the master and their pet.

“You’re making that contract meant that you’re putting yourself to be that man’s pet and you can’t even break it! Damn it! Do you know that I’ve been hearing that blood contract couldn’t be broken for so many times that I know how serious it is?”

“Blood contract required the two sides to agree…” Kate said slowly. “And I agree.”

“Because of his face?”

Kate was speechless. “You do know that I’m not part of his fan club in the academy.”

The so called fan club was actually just a small group of girls who would talk about who was the most handsome in the faculty. With the majority of students and teachers in engineering faculty being boys, the girls often compared their faces and made polls in their small group.

Naturally, it was done secretly without telling those boys.

Lucy was part of that group while Kate didn’t want to join because she was more focused on her study. It was also thanks to this group that Lucy told Kate about how many girl fans that Professor Kyle had.

If not because of his extremely strict lesson and merciless scoring, it was estimated that his class would forever be full by the girls.

Lucy opened her mouth and then closed it again. “If not for his face, then what? You’re addicted to be his pet?”

“…No.” Kate rolled her eyes. She looked at her small arm and grimaced. “I can’t even turn back into my adult form and stuck in either being a cat or a little kid. You know very well that I can’t possibly return to the society like this. Anyway, he treats me well.”

Lucy narrowed her eyes. “As his pet.”

“…Yep.”

“In that case, I strongly suggest that you no longer associate yourself with him.” Lucy snorted. She didn’t want Kate being so close to Kyle because she knew very well how dangerous he is. “Without that blood contract, you can leave him anytime you want. Why do you have to make the damn contract with him. Also, when did that blood contract actually apply between human and humans?”
