The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 213 - 213 Home <1>

213 Home <1>

It was estimated that he would be dragged to the research institute to be researched. And Kyle himself didn’t want to reveal the existence of the blood contract.

At least, not now.

“Do you also want pets?”

“No.” Dylan couldn’t stand pets and wouldn’t be able to have the necessary patience to take care of a pet. While the shared ability was somewhat enviable, he didn’t want to burden himself with taking care of pets.

The others were already awake and currently waiting for everyone to gather first. Jake was still yawning while Lucy looked energetic. On the other hand, Marc looked a bit bitter as he tried to restrain Robby’s movement.

“Oh, you’re up!” Marc waved his hand.

“Wang! Wang!” <Time to eat, time eat!>

“You glutton!” Marc scolded Robby who was jumping up and down, asking for food.

Kyle chuckled. “Robby just like to eat. Can he eat raw meat?”

.....

“Yeah, he can.”

“Good.”

Kyle took out a piece of giant mutated animals’ meat from the space and handed it to Robby, who happily gobbled everything.

Marc arched his eyebrows. “You can even use her ability when she’s far away?”

“Yes.” Kyle nodded. “Can’t you do that?”

“No, I mean, I need to be within certain distance with Robby and he knows what I’m going to do before I can use his ability.” Marc scratched the back of his head. He felt that it was hard for him to explain the rules for him to use Robby’s ability.

The shared abilities were exciting, but there was limit and restriction. Not to mention, he could never use Robby’s abilities to the fullest because it would definitely be much weaker.

“There’s such restriction?” Kyle arched his eyebrows.

He knew that Kate had already reached the first floor and currently headed towards her parent’s laboratory. That distance was more than several meters away and Kate usually didn’t even notice when he took out items from the space.

Marc nodded. “Something like that. I mean, no matter what, that blood contract is just a contract that allow me to borrow Robby’s ability and bound him, right?”

“Anything else?”

“Ah? Didn’t I already explain it to you before?” Marc was bewildered.

Drap! Drap!

Lotte had arrived and looked at the others, her face turned red. “Sorry, I took a bit too long when picking clothes.”

“Do you really need to be so picky about your appearance?” Jake was speechless.

“Did you say something?” Lotte narrowed her eyes.

Jake quickly climbed the stairs while yelling, “No, no!”

His strong sense of survival was telling him that if he dared to repeat that sentence, he would never be able to survive.

“Let’s talk while walking.” Kyle beckoned for them to start walking. “I know that you said that you shared your life with your pet and also their ability. What I want to know is whether you can communicate privately with him inside your mind.”

“Wang?” <Communicate privately, what is that?”< p>

“Let me try.” Marc looked at Robby, who was confused. <Robby, can you hear what I’m saying?>

“Wang?” <Why are you looking at me?>

<Robby, I have a piece of meat in my pocket. If you want it, bark three times.>

“Wang?” <Master? >

Marc was looking at Robby and upon seeing that he was not tempted, he knew that the so called trial was useless. Robby had always loved meat and if he were to hear that Marc was carrying one, he would definitely respond.

He turned to look at Kyle. “No, I can’t communicate with Robby privately.”

“Perhaps, there are some differences between the blood contract between Robby and Marc and the blood contract between Kyle and Little Kitty?” Lotte gave out her opinion. If the blood contract was different, the effect would naturally be different too.

Kyle arched his eyebrows. They had reached outside and he could see Kate was happily eating some ice cream given by her mother. He recalled the blood contract that they made and shrugged.

“Perhaps.”

“We can try to ask Assistant Professor Lica. She has a lot of projects and one of them is about these halves and pet, right?” Jake suggested.

“Maybe later. Let’s settle the giant mutated animals first.”

“Wait, how about breakfast?”

“I’ll give roasted meat later. There are enough giant mutated animals in the space.”

“Eh? Make sure that you make it medium rare. I prefer medium rare meat.”

“Well done for me!”

“Uhm, some raw meat for Robby please.”

“Oh, I would like for it to be fully cooked. The raw taste of meat felt too bitter.”

While the group of seven were laughing, Kate looked from the back and then turned to look at her parents. She went to them early in the morning since she refused to be teased by Kyle again.

“Is there anything that I can do to help?” Kate asked eagerly.

She also wanted to help and contribute.

“Well, I don’t really have anything that will require your help.” Kate’s Father laughed. “However, you can help General Ryan by transporting the materials. He has been busy transporting materials since the time we enter City E.”

“That seems to be plausible.” Kate thought for a moment and agreed.

Kate’s Mother smiled kindly. “Before going to find him, how about if you eat some food? I made your favorite chicken porridge.”

Kate’s eyes lit up and she nodded her head rapidly.

“Good girl.” Kate’s Mother then went to the kitchen and brought a bowl of chicken porridge for her daughter.

Kate happily took it and ate her breakfast. She laughed happily.

Happiness like this made her feel that the world of mutation was not so bad. At the very least, there are things that she could look forward to.

Still being able to live happily and peacefully from time to time was simply a luxury. But Kate didn’t want to think about it too much. She just wished to enjoy the time that was present in front of her as much as possible.

Spending time with the people she cared for, having fun with her family members.
