Chapter 34 The Fury Of Su Rong
The festivities continued, but Su Rong was not cheerful at all, her expression dark and she was practically on a tear.
'I miss my darling…' The thought of not being able to see Victor for a while hit her hard.
She had been with him almost 24 hours a day since he was a child, only lately Victor had become more and more distant from her. And just when she came up with the idea of locking him in some place with her for a few months, Victor suddenly decided to take up cultivation.
Su Rong was mildly frustrated, not understanding why he suddenly wanted to get stronger.
'Maybe it's because of that bitch?' Such thoughts often popped into her head, but at first she thought the thought was completely absurd, because her dear Victor was not that kind of person.
She had always hoped that Victor's first time would be with her, Su Rong wanted to prepare him for that moment and if he didn't agree, she could have just knocked him out and done the deed.
But, now all her plans had completely collapsed, the reason she hadn't shown up for the last four days was all because of Mikena, Su Rong had been searching for her all over the city since she found out about her. She knew only her name and a rough description of her appearance, Su Rong considered her the most hated enemy of all that existed, not only did she take advantage of Victor's kindness and cause him to have to kill people, she even slept with him.
Sure, Su Rong didn't care about these bandits, but the reason was that he was killing people over a woman, just enough to make her feel jealous.
At first she did not pay much attention to it, carefully trying not to succumb to the impulse and kill the woman, but as it turned out, she did not do it for nothing. More recently, as soon as Victor disappeared, the Yang Clan literally exploded with rumors of last night.
Su Rong wanted to hope that all these rumors were complete lies, but almost every member of the clan, except those who were meditating, heard the woman's moans from Victor's room as well as his name, which was shouted by the woman.
The anger mixed with Su Rong's rage was like kerosene. And all she wanted to do was to find her and then kill her in the most brutal way she could think of, but unfortunately for four days of searching, Mikena was not found, as if she had sunk through the floor.
Victor went off to a secluded training session and Mikena was gone, Su Rong's mood reached the lowest point ever.
While the guests in the Yang Clan courtyard were being entertained by the patriarch, who was carefully wiping away the cold sweat, Su Rong lost her patience and decided to check on Victor, even just getting to watch him would have made her happy.
As soon as she left the courtyard Yang Feng sighed in relief thinking that the threat has passed, but he couldn't even imagine that it has not passed but was like an imminent nuclear bomb.
"Empty... empty... empty... empty... empty here too fucking empty!" She slammed the doors on the next room.
As if teleporting she checked room after room but Victor wasn't there, not finding him in the rooms, she checked literally every room that was in the clan territory, meanwhile her face grew darker with each failure.
'So he must be in the ancestral land!' Su Rong thought, as there was one last place she hadn't checked yet. Of course, not everyone could enter there, but she did not care at all, as her thoughts were quite simple.
All who are in her way must be eliminated!
Without losing a breath she instantly appeared in the place, trying to find Victor with her divine sense.
'Where is he!?' Su Rong's face took on a disjointed expression, checking all the territories, Victor was nowhere to be found.
"That bastard lied to me!" Remembering Yang Feng's words as well as his strange behavior lately, she now realized what was going on behind her back.
**********
After making sure that Su Rong was no longer following him, Yang Feng sighed with relief as he poured himself another cup of wine.
'Victor and Su Rong have been stressing me more and more lately.' Rubbing his temples, he thought, comparing it no longer to a headache but an incurable tumor.
'What a pity I didn't say no back then…' He sighed bitterly.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, the whole sky darkened, the sun disappeared and in its place appeared dark, almost to the point of being black, clouds. Noticing this strangeness Yang Feng tensed once more.
"It can't be..." Before he could finish his thought, tremendous pressure suddenly fell on the entire Yang Clan, causing almost all clan members, from students to elders, to fall to their knees and those who could not cope with it to lose consciousness.
Even the incense stick didn't have time to burn out before all the clan members passed out, except for Yang Feng, who was the strongest man in the clan. But even he didn't look in the best shape.
He was on his knees while blood gushed slightly from his mouth, his hands trembling trying to resist the uncontrollable pressure of an unknown person, but knew who it was and if she showed her true face, Yang Feng knew what had happened and the reason behind it.
'She hasn't found Victor…' He knew that sooner or later, Su Rong wouldn't be able to stand the separation between them and would try to find him, but he didn't suspect it would happen so soon.
It had only been four days since she had last seen Victor, and that was already enough to make Su Rong completely lose her temper.
Yang Feng had already started to lose consciousness; he no longer tried his best to endure this pressure, because of the huge difference in their cultivation he began to suffer, thus damaging his cultivation by the minute. Therefore, he decided it was better to lose consciousness than to let the situation develop further, because he doubted that Su Rong would kill him.
At least until she gets her answers, he'll definitely be alive.
Suddenly, when his vision began to blur, the pressure disappeared as if it never existed. Yang Feng felt someone grab his neck with an incredibly powerful grip, coming to his senses he looked at this person and when he met her gaze, he was stunned.
