The changes in Luo Ziling’s expression were all noticed by Ouyang Feifei, who stated dispassionately, “Which subjects do you find challenging? How about I talk to the director again and have him find a better teacher to tutor you?”

“Let’s talk about it after all these classes are over,” Luo Ziling actually disliked tutoring. He felt he was very busy now, not sure if he could attend all the classes, let alone additional tutoring sessions afterward.

Of course, he thought he had many subjects to catch up on, but the idea of daily tutoring sessions was more than he could handle.

Freedom was the most important, not to mention, he had dates with Yang Qingyin planned.

Another important point was that Yang Qingyin had said she would help him with his studies.

Having a beautiful senior help with tutoring, how nice that would be.

His English tutoring was done by a beautiful teacher, and with a beauty like Yang Qingyin taking care of other subjects, Luo Ziling felt he was already very content.

Ouyang Feifei didn’t mind Luo Ziling’s polite refusal, she also understood that forcing someone like Luo Ziling to attend tutoring sessions after class every day would really be depressing. She decided if Luo Ziling failed his final exams, she would intervene to help ensure he passed every subject.

Luo Ziling’s medical skills were good. If judged solely on his proficiency in medicine, he was already a sufficiently excellent doctor; exam results truly didn’t matter. The students with outstanding academic scores couldn’t possibly compare to him in medical skills, right?

Even if it involved cheating on the exam grades, she felt it was not a big deal.

Because he had declined Ouyang Feifei’s kindness, Luo Ziling suddenly didn’t know what to say next.

Ouyang Feifei fell silent too.

She was naturally not much of a talker, and she had said enough for today. After the conversation broke off, she didn’t know how to continue.

“Then I’ll be going back now,” Luo Ziling stood up to take his leave.

“Alright,” Ouyang Feifei didn’t try to keep him, and stood up as well.

Both headed toward the door together, where Ouyang Feifei had Wang Qing, who was waiting outside in the other room, take Luo Ziling home.

Of course, Ouyang Feifei was a bit disappointed that Luo Ziling had suggested going back so early.

Since she had invited Luo Ziling over to her place for a meal and tea, she certainly hoped that Luo Ziling would stay a bit longer.

She knew that spending more time together was the only way to foster good feelings.

In the past, due to her aloofness, Luo Ziling didn’t have a very good impression of her, but she had changed.

She hoped Luo Ziling would start to like her, and for the sake of face, she felt compelled to act this way, especially now that she was in a rivalry with Yang Qingyin.

She was unwilling to lose to Yang Qingyin!

The somewhat flirtatious atmosphere during the meal with Luo Ziling had given her a sense of achievement.

However, the sudden silence between the two and Luo Ziling’s request to leave still left her feeling somewhat regretful.

She hoped that during their next one-on-one time, such an awkward situation would not recur.

Ouyang Feifei also had to admit that through her interactions with Luo Ziling, she had discovered many of his good qualities.

His clear eyes, handsome face, looking at him was truly pleasant.

Luo Ziling’s slightly embarrassed expression also added a cute charm to him— he was an interesting young man, and she wouldn’t lose face if she brought him out.

Ouyang Feifei decided she would find a way to bring him along to gatherings or cocktail parties sometime.

As long as she took Luo Ziling to social events, there would be no need for her to say anything; many people would naturally assume Luo Ziling was her companion or boyfriend. As long as many people believed that, her various goals would be achieved.

Luo Ziling, of course, had no idea about Ouyang Feifei’s complex thoughts, and he let out a slight sigh of relief after leaving.

Being alone with Ouyang Feifei still felt quite pressurizing to him.

When Wang Qing took him back, Luo Ziling again sat in the front passenger seat, just as he had when he arrived.

Because he disliked the silence during the ride, Luo Ziling tried to strike up a conversation with Wang Qing, but this woman couldn’t be bothered with him.

Luo Ziling found it quite dull and thought that Wang Qing, like Ouyang Feifei, was a woman without charm.

However, to his surprise, at least a kilometer away from the school gate, Wang Qing pulled the car over.

“Mr. Luo, I want to say a few words to you,”

“What is it?” Luo Ziling found it strange that Wang Qing would initiate a conversation, and in such a serious manner.

“I think you’re being too harsh on the young lady,” Wang Qing said somewhat angrily, “She has never been so kind to anyone before, she’s never pretended to like any other man, but you’re still ungrateful, it makes me angry just watching.”

“Uh,” Luo Ziling was caught off guard by Wang Qing’s direct accusation and stood there, at a loss for words.

“Compared with those chasing after the young lady, you fall short in every aspect, you’re not worthy of her.” After saying this bluntly, Wang Qing gave another cold glance at the stunned Luo Ziling and added, “I hope you have the self-awareness to realize that.”

With that, without waiting for Luo Ziling to respond, she stepped on the gas and drove off.

“Stop the car,” Luo Ziling shouted.

Wang Qing slammed on the brakes, bringing the car to a swift halt.

Luo Ziling nearly hit the windshield, thankfully, he had his seat belt on.

Once the car stopped, Luo Ziling unbuckled his seat belt, opened the door, and rudely retorted to Wang Qing, “It seems like Ouyang Feifei’s affairs are none of your business to arrange, nor do you have the right to be pointing fingers at me, do you? Aren’t you just an assistant? Well, you don’t need to bother giving me a ride anymore, I’ll walk back on my own.”

Having said that, he slammed the car door shut and strode away.

The roaring sound of the engine followed behind him, then gradually faded into the distance.

Luo Ziling did not look back and continued his walk toward the campus.

By coincidence, just as he reached the school gate, Ouyang Huihui called.

As soon as he answered the call, Ouyang Huihui’s crisp voice came through, “Luo Ziling, are you at my sister’s place?”

Luo Ziling replied with impatience, “I’m back at school, what’s up?”

Feeling increasingly proud of himself and yet frustrated at being looked down on by Wang Qing, Luo Ziling was in a bad mood.

“Oh!” Ouyang Huihui sounded somewhat disappointed, “I called my sister, but no one picked up. I thought you might be with her. Why did you come back so early?”

“Finished what I had to do and came back,” Luo Ziling’s mood had been soured by Wang Qing’s blunt words, which also affected his demeanor toward the Ouyang sisters, “If there’s nothing else, I’m hanging up.”

“Wait, where are you? I need to see you for something.” Afraid that Luo Ziling would hang up, Ouyang Huihui immediately exclaimed, “I’m at the school gate.”

“I’m at the school gate too!” As he spoke, Luo Ziling had already seen Ouyang Huihui, wearing a baseball cap that covered most of her face, walking out of the school.

Seeing Luo Ziling, Ouyang Huihui hurried over to him.

“What’s up?” Noticing Luo Ziling’s sour face, Ouyang Huihui couldn’t help but get curious, “Did you fight with my sister?”

“What do you need?”

“Can you do me a favor?”

“What favor?”

“I want to buy some Mid-Autumn Festival gifts for my grandfather. Can you help me pick and carry them? You’re a guy!” Ouyang Huihui said, giggling.

“I don’t want to go!”

“Let’s go,” Ouyang Huihui said, tugging at Luo Ziling’s arm without caring about the onlookers, “I’ll treat you to a late-night snack afterward. Shouldn’t you also pay a visit to my grandfather? That way, we can pick out the gifts together!”

Luo Ziling, who initially wanted to resist, changed his mind after hearing Ouyang Huihui’s last remark, “Fine then!”
