Transmigrating as an Extra Third-Rate Villain

Chapter 171: Chapter 171:Aftermath [1]

Liam, seeing me mid-dash, prepared to swing immediately; however, his stance quickly changed as he saw the green bird in my hands once again.

Thinking he was smart, Liam immediately turned the side and covered his eyes with his arms, prepared to avoid the "popping" of my green bird.

Playing along, I said the bird flying forward right at Liam, but instead of looking away like last time, I simply continued running at Liam.

Who said I had to "pop" the flash?

Why couldn't I just let it fly and let it do its own thing!?

An owner has to give their pets some freedom!

Controlling the bird, I sent it flying ahead of me and straight at Liam, who was still covering his eyes.

As the bird passed right by Liam, I stopped in my tracks and manifested a pitch-black bow alongside a couple of arrows in my hands.

Watching Liam with his eyes still blocked off, I nocked an arrow before aiming right at him.

He was like a statue, simply sitting there with his eyes closed, waiting to be hit.

With Liam's countless abilities and arts, dodging an arrow from my bow, even with my enhanced eyesight involved, would be easy.

His speed stat was by far the highest, so no matter how fast I shot the arrow, he could outpace it and dodge faster.

So, I had to make him stationary.

As Liam slowly removed his arms, thinking he had dodged my flash, it was already too late.

Releasing the elegant white string of the bow, I sent the arrow flying at Liam's stationary body.

However, that wasn't the true shot.

Less than a nanosecond later, another arrow went flying, aiming to the right of Liam's current location.

This shot was honestly a gamble, but I assumed Liam would dodge to the right as he was right-handed.

Proving me right, Liam, who had barely enough time to react to my first arrow, immediately dodged to the right.

However, as Liam dodged to the right, I manifested another bird in my hands, this time a corrupted pitch-black crow.

*CA-CAW*

Focused on the crow in my hands instead of the arrow stealthily and silently flying at him, Liam once again looked away and covered his eyes with his arms.

He was far too predictable.

As Liam slowly removed his eyes, assuming that the flash was over, the arrow reached him, and without any time to react, he could only watch the pitch-black tip of the arrow reach him.

Having perfectly calculated the trajectory of the arrow with my eyes, I watched as it, instead of directly hitting Liam, went right through his shirt.

Grazing the right part of Liam's chest, the arrow passed right through his shirt and then right out, dragging Liam along with it.

With his shirt attached to my flying arrow, Liam flew backward at the wall and was the true target of my arrow.

Finally, reaching the wall, the arrow embedded in the carriage wood instead of passing right through it.

*BANG*

A second after the arrow hit the carriage's wall, Liam also hit the wall back first, slumping down on the ground.

With the blue flames dancing in his eyes, Liam attempted to stand up, but the arrow attached to the wall and his shirt prevented him.

Then, before he could try again, four more arrows were flying right at him, courtesy of yours truly.

Like the arrow before, the four arrows did not hit Liam directly, instead passing right through his shirt and grazing the right part of his chest.

Within a second, the four arrows hit the wall, attaching themselves to both Liam's shirt and the wall.

Slowly walking towards Liam's slumped body, I watched him attempt to stand up countless times, failing due to the weight of the arrows.

As I neared him, Liam desperately threw his arms to his chest, attempting to tear the shirt he was wearing.

*RIIIP*

Slicing his shirt in half with his sword, Liam again attempted to stand up... just to fail again.

Standing right in front of Liam with my hand pressed down against his head, I watched him squirm as I increased the pressure of my hand on his head every time he tried to stand up.

Looking down at his shirtless figure, I smiled and said.

"Are you done yet?"

*CLASH*

Still slumped down against the wall, Liam swung his sword upwards right at my hand, but I easily blocked the sword with my bow.

Since the bow wasn't as sturdy as my daggers, part of it disintegrated under the pressure of Liam's sword, causing me to lose corruption.

As Liam continued pressing his sword against my bow, I swung my right leg at the sword, knocking it right out of Liam's hands.

*CLANG*

The sword flew back from my kick before promptly hitting the ground right below Ruby and Irene's seats.

Ignoring the sword below them, the two girls continued staring at me... but in a weirder way than usual.

They were looking at my backside instead of Liam and I.

Making eye contact with Ruby, I saw her trying to discreetly point her wand behind me while mouthing some words that I couldn't make out.

Turning my bow backward so that it was facing the wall behind me, I stared right at Liam before shooting an arrow backward without even looking.

*BANG*

Taking a short glance behind me, I saw Kevin's figure pressed against the wall of the carriage with my arrow, which was attached to his shirt and the wall, keeping him from standing up.

Shaking my head, I smiled and replied.

"Looks like your friend is down for the count as well."

Of course, that wasn't true, as Kevin would probably recover within ten seconds, but seeing the slight sliver of hope remaining in Liam's eyes disappear was enough for me.

As I dismissed my bow and manifested my two corrupted daggers, Liam stopped trembling.

Finally making eye contact with me, Liam spoke in a dead-serious tone.

"Tell me why, at least... tell me why you were fine with killing Zach."
