Tsundere Campus Goddess and Rogue Master

Chapter 15

C15 – Shave Clearly

With those words hanging in the air, he lunged forward, aiming a fist as massive as a sandbag at Wang Xiao’s face. A cluster of thugs trailed closely behind.

Bang, bang, bang…

In an instant, several dull sounds rang out in the bar.

In a blur of movement, Wang Xiao vanished from his original spot. Reappearing as swiftly as he had disappeared, the hooligans found themselves abruptly propelled outwards, crashing into the encircling walls.

Just as Bald Man’s fist hurtled towards its target, Wang Xiao’s right hand casually extended, capturing the fierce and potent force of Bald Man’s punch.

These sequences of actions transpired at the speed of lightning. Bald Man barely blinked, yet in the span of an eye’s blink, he heard several muffled thuds echoing behind him. Before he knew it, his powerful fist had been ensnared by Wang Xiao.

“What a fast speed!”

“What on earth did that kid do? It was like his body merely swayed for an instant, and suddenly all those thugs were launched into the air.”

The patrons of the bar who witnessed the spectacle had their eyes widened to the maximum, their astonishment rippling through the establishment.

“Kid, what did you do just now?”

The sight of the thugs behind him being seemingly propelled away by some invisible force left the Bald Man startled, causing him to inquire of Wang Xiao.

His gut feeling informed him that all of this was the handiwork of the young man right in front of him.

“It’s about time you started pondering. It’s most likely you, isn’t it?”

In response to Wang Xiao’s words, a faint smile crept onto his lips as he addressed the Bald Man.

Wang Xiao’s words gave the Bald Man a start. He was on the verge of attempting to wrest his captured fist free.

“Kneel down!”

Upon witnessing this, Wang Xiao’s countenance grew stern and, suddenly, he roared.

Without warning, Wang Xiao applied force with his right hand, the unmistakable sound of a wrist snapping resonating through the air.

“Ah, my hand!”

The Bald Man clutched his broken wrist and crumpled to his knees, agony causing him to wail.

The attending guests, observing this sequence of events, found themselves both shocked and amazed. Their gazes towards Wang Xiao were now infused with respect.

“Kid, if you’ve got guts, release my hand and let’s go for another 300 rounds!”

Despite the pain, a ferocious expression overtook the Bald Man’s face. After all, he was the leader of his gang, and remnants of his backbone remained.

Slap!

“You want to fight me for three hundred rounds, right?”

Upon hearing this, Wang Xiao seized the Bald Man’s fractured wrist with one hand and struck his face with the other. He let out a cold snort before adding,

A searing sensation flared across his face. A sense of humiliation surged within the Bald Man. His countenance flushed with anger. As the local gang’s head honcho, he’d never encountered such indignity before!

“Ah, I will kill you, kill you!”

Pah…

“Even if you end my life, it depends on your capacity to execute such a feat. You’re demanding compensation for your lady’s emotional distress, asking for twenty thousand bucks? Why don’t you just rob me while you’re at it!”

Wang Xiao paid no heed to Bald Man’s threats; a frosty grin crept onto his face. Another stinging slap found Bald Man’s other cheek.

“Little, little brat, you…”

Both cheeks now stung in symphony. Bald Man’s rage drove tremors through his body. Yet, with a broken wrist and Wang Xiao’s unwavering grip, any movement sparked agonizing waves from his arm.

Pah…

“What’s the matter? Not willing to embrace the challenge? If that’s the case, rise and hit me yourself.”

Wang Xiao’s response was an icy snort, preceding yet another resounding slap.

As if addicted to this slap game, he didn’t grant Bald Man even a moment for utterance.

Slap!

“Blackmail, right?”

Slap…

“You want to learn how to shave your head, right?”

Pah…

The crisp sound of a slap could be heard in the bar.

“Brother, I was wrong. Stop hitting me.”

Eventually, even Bald Man succumbed, his resilience shattered. His voice quivered, beseeching Wang Xiao for clemency.

The once-portly countenance had suffered Wang Xiao’s onslaught until it was unrecognizable. Each cheek swelled into fiery crimson orbs, akin to a pair of ping-pong balls awkwardly crammed into his mouth.

“Do you think you are a gangster or not?”

Wang Xiao’s hand, mid-air, froze for a moment. He turned to Bald Man with a question.

“No more, I won’t do it anymore. I’ll find a steady job tomorrow and earn for my family.”

Tears welled up in Bald Man’s eyes as he shook his head earnestly, speaking sincerely to Wang Xiao.

Wang Xiao had truly scared him. Any man pinned down and slapped by Wang Xiao would likely feel mentally shattered.

Pa…

But to everyone’s surprise, Wang Xiao’s hand swung again, slapping Bald Man across the face.

Bald Man’s expression turned wronged. He had clearly vowed not to be involved in any more criminal activities, so why the slap?

“What’s this? You’re not even qualified to be a thug, and now you want to work? Are you not afraid of inviting disaster?”

Wang Xiao’s eyes widened, addressing Bald Man with a grave expression.

“Big brother, you’re like a brother to me. Just tell me what you want, I’ll do it!”

Bald Man’s eyes brimmed with tears. He clasped Wang Xiao’s thigh, his face a picture of aggrievedness.

“Cough…”

Seeing this bulky figure clinging to him in distress, Wang Xiao suppressed the urge to slap him. He cleared his throat and then spoke sternly to Bald Man, “I was planning to find a quiet bar to have a drink and ponder over my life because of you lot. You just abruptly shattered my train of thought, causing my billion-dollar business ideas to crash. So, who’s going to take responsibility?”

Er… Bald Man twitched a corner of his mouth upon hearing Wang Xiao’s absurd statement. He wiped his tears, then looking into Wang Xiao’s earnest gaze, he hesitated, “I will?”

“You said it. I did not force you!”

Wang Xiao maintained his serious tone as he began to count on his fingers. “You ruined my business plans, subjected me to an unbearable woman’s presence for so long, causing both mental and emotional distress… I’m holding you accountable for 50,000 as compensation!”

“What, fifty thousand?”

The Bald Man’s expression underwent a sudden shift at these words, his cry of surprise echoing.

Fifty thousand? Even if he collected protection money for a whole month, he might not reach that amount.

“What? Do you think I’ve underestimated it? Need me to add more?”

Wang Xiao’s voice turned icy, his gaze sharp as he glanced at the Bald Man and questioned.

“Seems like it’s quite a bit. That’s the number!”

Confronted by Wang Xiao’s penetrating stare, the Bald Man involuntarily shuddered, his face clouded.

He understood bargaining wasn’t an option for him.

Indeed, the young man before him was a true master in the art of extortion.

“Very well, you can leave now. Spare me your presence as I contemplate life.”

After receiving the reminder that the Bald Man had transferred 50,000 yuan, Wang Xiao nonchalantly waved him away.

“Yes!”

Hearing this, a bitter smile tugged at the Bald Man’s lips. The goons accompanying him had already risen from their seats.

However, just as the Bald Man and his cohorts were about to retreat from the establishment, a striking policewoman entered the scene.

“Halt! Raise your hands!”

Her grip on the firearm was unwavering, and Xuu Xueqing’s expression remained stern as she addressed the Bald Man’s group.

“Officer, please don’t shoot. We’re all law-abiding citizens!”

The sudden sight of the gun’s dark muzzle instilled fear in the Bald Man’s group. With both hands raised, they urgently pleaded.

“Who called the police, reporting a brawl here?”

Xuu Xueqing’s visage darkened, her tone chilly and authoritative.

Her mood wasn’t great today. A few days prior, she had pursued a lecherous man who had harassed a girl. In her attempt to apprehend him, she had given him a well-deserved kick, only to be reprimanded by her superior. She even received a stern warning.

Frustrated, she had left the police station, wandering the streets. That’s when she received a distress call about a disturbance at the bar, compelling her to investigate.

You’re parasites that pose a threat to society. It’s your misfortune to encounter me! Xuu Xueqing’s captivating eyes turned icy as she muttered this in her heart.

“It is me!”

At this time, the bar manager approached Xuu Xueqing, standing before her. He pointed toward Wang Xiao, Bald Man, and the rest, giving her a succinct rundown of the situation.

“You were the one engaged in the altercation?”

Approaching Wang Xiao, Xuu Xueqing regarded him skeptically. She gestured to Bald Man and the group, her tone carrying an air of seriousness.

“Let’s be precise. It wasn’t me who merely fought with them. It was me who decisively handed them a defeat!”

Wang Xiao shook his head, his tone earnest.

“What’s the distinction?”

Xuu Xueqing found herself momentarily taken aback, compelled to ask.

“Naturally, there’s a distinction. In a confrontation, the dynamics matter. If you advance on me, I engage. If you retreat, I pursue. But in the latter, I’d dominate unilaterally.”

Wang Xiao explained with a serious face.

“You!”

Xuu Xueqing’s comely countenance morphed into a semblance of anger upon hearing Wang Xiao’s explanation. She clenched her teeth, her voice tinted with fury.

He dared utter such audacious statements before her, a police officer!

Arrogant!

Truly too arrogant!

Bald Man and the others gazed at Wang Xiao in admiration. He had the audacity to address a police officer in such a manner.

This brother was awesome!
