Chapter 17: 17 Violent Female Cop
Chapter Seventeen
"Who exactly are you?" The scrawny man pulled out a butterfly knife and cautiously eyed Long Xiaoshan.
Long Xiaoshan didn't speak, instead charging toward the scrawny man, who waved his butterfly knife, stabbing out dozens of times with movements swift and sharp as a venomous snake.
If it had been the Long Xiaoshan of the past, although unafraid, he would have inevitably suffered some cuts.
But he found that after discovering his clairvoyance ability, his senses had greatly sharpened, and he could clearly see the dozens of strikes that would normally have been a blur.
After swiftly blocking those strikes with his knife, Long Xiaoshan landed a blow on his opponent's wrist, causing the scrawny man to let out a muffled groan as the knife fell to the ground.
The man hurriedly rushed outside, trying to escape.
Long Xiaoshan's reaction was faster, kicking him in the lower back. With a crack, it was clear that the man's spine had broken, and he collapsed to the ground.
"You definitely can't escape," the scrawny man managed to utter a threat despite suffering such a severe injury.
Long Xiaoshan kicked him in the head, knocking him out cold.
"Little Ling, let's go," Long Xiaoshan walked over to Long Xiaoling.
"Brother, your injuries," Long Xiaoling noticed some knife wounds on Long Xiaoshan, her voice filled with concern.
"It's nothing, just superficial wounds."
Long Xiaoshan took a tank top from one of the tattooed men on the ground, putting it on to cover his wounds, and helped Long Xiaoling head out. They had just reached the upstairs when the sound of police sirens echoed from outside.
Long Xiaoshan's eyes showed surprise. How could police have arrived so quickly—had they been alerted to his intrusion?
Yet that seemed unlikely. This place was a den of sin, dealing in flesh trades, even preying on underage girls. Those tattooed men were obviously not the type to call the police.
In the corridors and stairwells, the sound of fast-approaching footsteps and doors being kicked in soon followed.
"Police raid! Everyone put your hands up and kneel on the ground!"
Hearing those words, Long Xiaoshan felt a sense of relief. It was a bust for illegal activities; he had feared that the police were in cahoots with the people here.
As he descended with Long Xiaoling, a group of police rushed up and upon seeing Long Xiaoshan and Long Xiaoling, they pounced, shouting, "Get down! It's a police raid! How dare you solicit a minor."
Long Xiaoling was frail-looking and appeared even younger than the average sixteen-year-old girl, clearly underage.
"Officer, I'm not one of them, I'm her brother," Long Xiaoshan quickly explained.
"Still trying to lie? Why don't you say I'm your brother? Kid, you don't look anything like a good person. Shave your head, kneel down, now!" a young police officer rushed forward, attempting to push Long Xiaoshan down.
Long Xiaoshan sidestepped urgently, "I'm really not a client here."
Long Xiaoling also said anxiously, "Uncle Police Officer, he really is my brother."
"Young lady, although you're young, covering for a criminal is still an offense, and in serious cases, you might be sent to juvenile detention," one police officer pointed at Long Xiaoling and threatened, "You also, get down quickly. You're so young and you're already doing things like this. Aren't you ashamed of yourself?"
Long Xiaoling's face turned ashen and her eyes filled with tears at the scolding.
Long Xiaoshan couldn't stand to see his sister insulted. He glared at the officer, "Say that again. My sister was deceived into coming here. If you don't know the facts, keep your mouth shut."
Several police officers saw Long Xiaoshan, a supposed client, acting so brazenly and they grew angry.
They rushed up, grabbed Long Xiaoshan's arms, and pressed down forcefully.
Long Xiaoshan, burning with anger, shook them off forcefully and the police officers were flung aside.
Suddenly, a cold and fierce leg wind swept over from behind. Long Xiaoshan hastily ducked his head and quickly turned around, only to find that another female police officer had appeared on the staircase at some point, and she had a fiery temper, attacking him directly.
Seeing that Long Xiaoshan dodged, the female officer pushed off the ground with the tip of her foot, her long, strong legs springing like a loaded spring into the air, where she unleashed several kicks at Long Xiaoshan in rapid succession, which he deflected with his hands a few times.
However, this female officer was incredibly strong, and Long Xiaoshan felt his arms going numb from the kicks.
Long Xiaoshan raised his hand and said, "Stop hitting me."
It wasn't that he was really afraid he couldn't beat the female officer; firstly, he didn't want to fight a woman, and secondly, all these people were police officers. Initially, he had lost his temper, but after cooling down, if he truly resisted, it would be assaulting an officer. Having just been released from prison, he knew he had to restrain himself no matter what.
But just as he raised his hand, the female officer kicked him straight in the chest.
Long Xiaoshan's face turned white, and he stumbled backward several steps.
At the same time, a flash of anger crossed his eyes. He had already raised his hands in surrender, yet the female officer still struck him so harshly. He was trained in martial arts; had it been an ordinary person, their ribs might have been broken.
"Cuff him!" the female officer said coldly, staring at Long Xiaoshan with eyes void of any warmth.
"Yes, Captain," two policemen quickly responded, taking out handcuffs and approaching Long Xiaoshan.
Long Xiaoshan was somewhat shocked to realize that this frosty female officer was actually a captain.
Moreover, for a police officer, she was exceptionally beautiful. He had thought Su Wan was very pretty, but this female officer seemed even more gorgeous than Su Wan, with eyebrows like fine brushwork and a very cold gaze.
Long Xiaoshan could tell that this woman must be in her breastfeeding period.
It was indeed strange.
Typically, women would become gentler after giving birth.
This police station chief was a complete violence fanatic, with eyes lacking any trace of maternal warmth, her pretty face icy cold, like a frigid iceberg.
"Captain, I'm really not a client," Long Xiaoshan said, regardless of what the officer thought.
"Whether you're a client or not isn't for you to decide. Take him away," the female officer said sternly.
Long Xiaoshan and Long Xiaoling were taken down to the courtyard below, where a large group of men and women already huddled, all disheveled, holding the backs of their heads. Long Xiaoshan knew that nothing he said now would make a difference, so he gave Little Ling a signal with his eyes and squatted down beside her.
Not long after, a commotion came from upstairs.
Then, the beautiful station chief also came down. Her eyes swept around and landed on Long Xiaoshan.
She walked briskly toward him and stood before him, staring at Long Xiaoshan. "Are you the one who injured those people upstairs?" she asked.
Long Xiaoshan knew he couldn't hide it and replied, "Yes, they tricked my sister in there, trying to take advantage of her. I came to rescue her. Her name is Long Xiaoling, and I'm Long Xiaoshan. We are people from Lotus Township Longyang Village. You should be able to verify this."
Qin You frowned in silence. With her intuition, Long Xiaoshan didn't seem to be lying, as such a lie would be easily exposed.
If what Long Xiaoshan said was true, then he definitely couldn't be a client, as no one would bring their own sister to such a place.
"Stand up. You will come with us to the station to make a statement later. If it's true, I will protect you, but you did go too hard on them," Qin You said coldly.
Long Xiaoshan touched his chest and thought to himself that she hadn't been gentle either.
However, his impression of the female officer improved greatly. Though violent, she was straightforward. After all, he had injured many people, some with quite substantial backgrounds, and yet this officer dared to promise his protection outright.
"Thank you," Long Xiaoshan sincerely said.
Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he caught sight of someone on the ground, who suddenly lunged at the female officer from behind, a gleam of cold light shining from their hand.
