Undying Warlord

Chapter 476 Warfare (4)

With Dilan by their side, the others didn't have to be worried.

They witnessed how the duo consistent of Dilan and Rory were wreaking havoc, and killed close to a million monsters in a matter of minutes. Their surroundings were overflowing with the aura of death and the pressure they released clearly showed that neither Dilan nor Rory were to be taken lightly.

Victoria and the others knew that their strength was no match for Dilan's but they were always giving their utmost to make sure that they could bridge the gap.

That was extremely difficult, which was obvious, but it was not impossible.

This was even more evident when a bunch of Tier-3 Ascenders emerged out of nowhere.

Victoria shot forward, and her body was shrouded in a bloody red hue. Large black horns had grown out of her head, one of her eyes turned pitch black and the loud crackling noises that originated from her bones reverberated through the surrounding.

Dilan noticed that her whole physique was slowly changing. Her fair skin had a violet tinge and her silver hair was slowly changing in color as well.

'Is that a permanent change?' Dilan wondered while staring at her. Victoria's appearance was improving and she became even more beautiful than she already was.

Her unique appearance executed a charm that could hardly be found in other existences and Dilan was drawn to her.

However, Dilan was not the only one to be drawn to her. Most Chaos Monsters that were in her vicinity took note of Victoria's existence and they averted their attention from Dilan to the Vampire girl.

Her existence was naturally alluring to all kinds of beings, which made Chaos Monsters go insane.

The Taunt of the Artifact of Traction was powerful on a large scale and it allowed Dilan to pull the vast majority of Chaos Monsters toward him but Victoria's sudden appearance and the changes she was undergoing made things more difficult for him.

Victoria, however, didn't care about that. She welcomed the Chaos Monsters in front of her and slashed upward with her clawed hands that were coated in glistening whitish-red ice.

Huge blood ice spikes, the size of a bungalow, shot out of the ground.

The blood ice spikes were growing in size as they were pushed forward and they pierced through the Chaos Monsters before their legs and bodies were engulfed in the highly resilient blood ice Victoria had summoned.

She breathed out cold air and began to smile in exhilaration, indicating that she was ready to go on.

Her hands moved rapidly, blood ice shrouded her body like the armor of a war princess and she released slashes made out of ice.

Victoria's Blood Ice Slashes were similar to Dilan's Mana Slashes, just a lot stronger. They were altered by her Innate powers, and her slashes were completely solid.

The moment her Blood Ice Slashes would crack, her attack would burst open and scatter, but that was something she rarely encountered with the enemies that were charging at her mindlessly.

The Chaos Monsters were cut apart like ragdolls that had no ability to counter Victoria's attacks and they succumbed to their ill fate only moments later.

But that's not how the encounter ended.

The Chaos Monsters' Swirl of Chaos was forcefully activated, and close to a hundred explosions, releasing the terrifying suction force of the Swirls of Chaos were released at the same time.

Dilan observed this intently while slashing left and right. His body was drenched in his opponents' blood, intestines, and other bodily fluids but his attention was somewhere else.

"They've already advanced to the third Tier…but how?" Dilan blurted out with widened eyes. He stared over to Yvonne and Kathrine, who seemed to have advanced to the Tier-3 as well. But then he observed the others keenly and figured that there were only a few who had advanced to the next Tier.

Sven was still a Tier-2 Ascender while Williams had also advanced to Tier-3. His control of all his abilities had increased by leaps and bounds, and it was possible for him to control several hundred blades using a minuscule amount of Mana.

His psychokinetic ability was extremely terrifying and it would be possible for Williams to achieve much more than his stats indicated as long as he was in possession of enough powerful weapons, or means to make use of his ability.

With various different types of weapons in his arsenal, it would be possible for him to easily defeat opponents that were much stronger than him in terms of stats.

This was something Dilan witnessed clearly as Williams retrieved a total of ten different types of weapons, including the Molotov Daggers that had been enhanced.

He controlled the weapons precisely and shot them high in the air to surround a bunch of monsters from all directions. Afterward, Williams activated the special effects from a bunch of those weapons and they transformed accordingly.

Some weapons burst open as they released terrifying elemental powers, while other weapons manifested the powers of special monsters.

The Spirit of monsters were summoned and they shrouded the respective weapon. It was only a matter of time before the Spirit Weapons lunged out and the weapons shot downward, piercing through the hide of the Chaos Monsters.

The Tier-3 Chaos Monsters screamed out at the top of their lungs, releasing the unbearable pain they felt, just to turn quiet all of a sudden.

They collapsed on the ground and the light in their eyes slowly dimmed. Their bodies responded to whatever was happening to them and they violently twitched a few more times before they stopped moving altogether.

"Not bad," Dilan commented and the corners of his lips curled upward. Williams was much stronger than he had expected, giving Dilan the necessary calm to believe that the final battles in this Warfare would end up with a great result.

This thought was supported by Yvonne's small army of Undeads. The number of Undeads that were following her had increased to more than 200, and it was only a matter of time until it would increase even further.

'Her Origin ability is crazy!' Dilan acknowledged for the 100th time. He was a little bit jealous of Yvonne for possessing an ability such as [Angel of Death]. It was a very powerful Origin ability, but now that he thought about it, Dilan would probably never even consider thinking about replacing [Undying] with anything else.

His Origin ability had saved him too many times to keep a count of and he knew that without it he would have died a long time ago. That was more than enough for him to stay loyal to his ability and to finally avert his focus from Yvonne and the maniac fighter Kathrine to start nourishing the Chaos Islands.

"I want to exploit you, and get my hands on everything!" Dilan exclaimed when he felt the greed in his body overwhelming his senses. He could tell that his people were a bit more relieved now that Kathrine, Yvonne, Williams, and Victoria seemed to have advanced to the third Tier. Their strength would increase gradually as long as they made use of the battlefield by absorbing Essence crystals the moment they killed a Chaos Monster.

Thus, Dilan merely activated the [Demon Summoning] from his Blood Eclipse Necklace to summon a Diamond Peak Tier-3 Demon to give his people an additional means of enhancement.

He replenished the mana he used for the Demon Summoning in an instant using his Lifeforce, which inevitably augmented the enhancement he received from his passive occupational ability [Bracing Pain]!

Dilan's strength thus increased further while the humongous Gate leading to the realm of Demons opened.

"Come, and heed my commands! Reap the Souls of the Chaos Monsters, nourish your power and become stronger! Kaeldur, I'm waiting for you!"
