Chapter 159: Chapter 156: Saving Peia



[3rd POV]

It was a few days later, after hours of passionate sex with Isabelle, and a whole lot of punishment for taking Hope's idea, in the form of spankings (which Isabelle enjoyed) and not a lot had happened, except some more training of the twins, and working on the cure for cancer even more. The cure was getting very very close to being completed, but she still needed to do some testing, so she basically just grabbed criminals like rapists that had it, and used them as guinea pigs to see if it worked or not.

At the moment she was dealing with something much more important though, and that was Lois was going through with a surgery that would help get rid of the cancer she had. As her chemotherapy was near its end, and all that was left was a surgery to remove what was left of it. Something Talia was surprised about, not realizing that much time had passed, and the fact that she had missed so much over the past month.

She was in Metropolis at the moment, waiting for the moment in which Bruno's wife Peia was going to get overwhelmed. She had been recently given a experimentative serum that was supposed to cure her of her cancer, and also boost her powers which was the ability to manipulate Sonic energy for a variety of different uses, which was going to overwhelm her and basically turned her into a living bomb.

The girls were back in Smallville, deciding to sit this one out as it was something Talia herself had to take care of. The whole purpose of Talia being there was to save the woman so she could then make her family the first human residents of her dimension, and hopefully the start of something new, and beautiful.

She had been waiting for nearly an hour, as her senses expanded over the entirety of Metropolis, waiting for the woman to lose control, so she could move in, heal her, and then take her and her family to her dimension, where she planned on then explaining her offer to them, and all that it entailed.

As she waited, Talia was sitting, thinking over her plans for her dimension, a dimension that was nearly the size of the sun itself, and a dimension that was quite literally filled with her energies, mostly the magical, chakra, nature, and force energies. She hadn't been into the dungeon in quite some time, but from what she could tell, their numbers were in the tens of thousands now, and all of them were at least level 10's in power, with the peak of them being on the level of someone like Isabelle and Clary.

'After I give them the offer, I should look into alien species of this universe. I'm sure there isn't just Kryptonians out there, so maybe I can find some Martians, Daxamites, or something similar to recruit? I'd make a clone army using the blood of various species, but I don't exactly have the knowledge for something like that just yet. The Kryptonian technology was specific to Kryptonian physiology, so that's something I'll have to do down the line' Talia thought, knowing that she would also need to change her dimension extensively for such a thing. 'Cities, Towns, and villages will need to be made, as will other necessities like electricity, plumbing, and perhaps even a connection to the internet, or perhaps I make my own? Copying all data on the Internet from this Earth and Earth 38 should be easy enough, and could give my subjects some new sources of knowledge to learn from' Talia hummed, as the internet could be useful to her dimension, mostly for the growth of it's inevitable inhabitants.

As she continued to contemplate her future ideas, Talia stopped as she felt the shaking of Metropolis, or at least, a portion of it. Expanding her gaze, she watched Peia groan as she dropped to the ground, pain filling her being as she began to lose control.

Seeing this, Talia got to her feet as a golden glow surrounded her, her Solaris uniform glowing around her. It was a new and upgraded suit made with Nth metal, Vibranium, and some other composite metals, and was currently the most durable thing she had made so far. It also adapted to changes against it's form, increased her absorption of energies, and had various other powers and abilities. And at the moment, it looked exactly the same as the old suit, except it had a golden sun symbol on her chest.

After getting her suit on, she disappeared from the spot she had been standing, and reappeared in the skies above where Peia was, she was currently in the middle of the street, trying to control the sonic energy that was overflowing, but she was failing.

"Stay away from me!" Peia yelled to Clark who was in his Superman outfit, standing across from her.

"Let me help you!" He yelled over the loud sonic energy that was flowing from the woman. "You can't, Superman. No one can now!" Peia yelled, as groans escaped her lips, and she began to drop to the ground, the pain becoming too much.

The citizens in the surroundings all were groaning in pain from the force of Peia's power, only for the effects to cease, as a golden glow began to fill the area. Gazes turned as gasps escaped the lips of the civilians, as for the first genuine time, the world got to see the true Solaris, and not one of her clones or familiars.

"He may not be able to, but I can" Solaris's feminine voice boomed as they all watched wide eyed as she flicked her wrist, and the aura surrounding the woman disappeared a gasp escaping her lips.

"Wha-Ho-" "Healing is but one of my abilities, Peia. And healing something like the overflowing of power, is an easy task for me" Solaris spoke as she walked to the woman who got to her feet, as the overflowing energy wasn't running rampant anymore, if anything, she could still feel it all, but...it was completely under her control.

"Now, I believe it best you come with me" Solaris said, placing a hand on the woman's shoulder, and without a second of time passing, she disappeared from the location, leaving a confused Superman, and an awed crowd as several videos of the first proper look at the real Solaris was taken. The aura that she exuded was far more powerful and...divine than any of her clones or familiars.

Reappearing with a flash of light, Solaris was found on top of a building, standing on it was Bruno Mannheim and his teenage son, Matteo.

"Mom?!" Matteo yelled with wide eyes as he moved forward and caught the woman in a hug, as Bruno looked at her in shock.

"Ho-how?" Bruno asked, as he softly grasped his wife's cheeks, tears threatening to spill from his eyes, out of happiness.

"It was her" Peia said, looking at Solaris who was standing there.

"Why?" Bruno asked. He and his wife were not good people, and were basically villains, albeit ones that cared for their son more than anything. But the idea of the most beloved hero on the planet helping them was...confusing.

"Because no one deserves to go through what your wife has. And while I do not entirely agree with all your methods, I understand why you did them" Solaris replied.

"I-I am grateful, even if you have to take us to prison now" Bruno said with a small smile, genuinely thankful to the woman.

"Well...you don't necessarily have to" Solaris responded, leaving a confused Bruno.

"I have an offer for you, Bruno Mannheim, Peia Mannheim, and Matteo Mannheim. One that will free you from any sort of prison, and allow you start over while still continuing your work" Solaris spoke, as the man looked at her intently, before replying.

"...I'm listening"
