Chapter 28: L-L-L-LOOT
Chapter 28: L-L-L-LOOT
The Milly and Lizzy immediately rushed into the cave, not long after shrieks and squeals of happiness rang out.
"A-are they okay?" Maria asked.
Amanda only massaged her eyes and replied, "Don't worry...I bet there's a ton of gold inside..."
"GUYS!!! There's so much gold in here!!"
"..."
"..."
Maria looked at Amanda and his brother and asked again, "Shouldn't we go in?"
"Nah, let them carry out the rewards for us~"
"Y-yeah, big sis Milly and Lizzy always loved sorting out through the drops and reward...its best if we don't interfere..."
"Okay?"
It didn't take long for Milly and Lizzy to come out with beaming smiles.
"So...what'd we get?"
"Here! Lemme show you!"
Lizzy was the party leader and the loot distribution was set for the party leader to distribute to the rest of the party.

The list kept going down. They had a very, very abundant harvest. The party got enough Silver to make 1,000 gold. If they split it evenly each member got 200 gold. It was a pretty bountiful at this current stage of the game.
Then there were the equipment and skills they got. They also acquired a bunch of other miscellaneous items such as crafting items for blacksmiths, alchemists, cooks, and tailors.
They could sell all of this at the market or just keep it to themselves. However all the crafting materials were all rare grade items and it was a shame to just sell them away.
Since Milly was already planning to become a blacksmith, she took away all the crafting materials for that lifestyle class. Amanda thought it'd be great to become a tailor for the party since they had 3 leather and cloth armor users. Lizzy could also be included in the count since a warrior could use both heavy armor and light armor as well.
She took the tailoring items with her and that left the alchemy and cooking items. Zack was already planning to become an alchemist sine they could also create poisons which were suited for his class, so he took those materials away.
And everyone shoved the rare cooking ingredients to Maria. Despite how she is, Maria was actually pretty decent working around the kitchen.
She had free time to herself all the time so she loved to make food for herself. She also had her family's chef teach her so she became somewhat good at it.
"Ohhh! I didn't know you could become a Chef here!"
"It's a lifestyle class and you can have up to 2 of these classes! The classes give some boosts to your stats so make sure you take one or two up later!" Lizzy answered.
"M'kay~ but what about you Liz? Not taking up any lifestyle classes yourself?"
"Hm? Well, I'm going to become a merchant so I won't be needing any of those...what I'll be needing are the products that you guys successfully craft later!"
"Ohhh~ so you're just going to be a trader like your Dad?"
"Yep~"
Once everything was divided between everyone in the group, they turned their attention to the most important pieces, the equipment and the skill books.
"Well, we got 2 full sets of equipment with some extras..."
"Set Equipment for warriors, knights, and priests..."

"Well...the Forest Jewel Set should go to either Amanda or Maria, right?" Milly said.
"Yup, and the Red Giant's Set should go to..."
"Me!" Milly and Lizzy said in unison. Surprised, they looked at each other in the eyes. Milly was the first to open her mouth. So with clear derision in her voice she said,
"Oi, what're you saying? Don't you see all those increase in DEF?"
"Hah? The equipment all has a pretty high ATK stat and it also boosts ATK and STR, what're ya, blind?"
"Oi, open your eyes a little, you stupid lizard."
"What's that pipsqueak? You wanna go?"
"Haaahhh??"
"Haaaahhh??"
Amanda and Zack were smiling wryly at their exchange. This was the usual pattern whenever they played together. These two for some reason would always pick classes that were related to each other and they'd ALWAYS fight over the loot.
Maria was happily sifting through her cooking ingredients and thinking about what kind of food would be good to make later.
"Ah! I don't have any pots or pans...I should go buy them later!"
Amanda walked over to Maria and asked, "Mary, do you want the equipment?"
"Hm? No, not really...you're the healer in the party Amanda, so you take them! I'll be fighting a lot later so I'll leave my back to you~"
"Eheheh~ okay, thanks Mary! There's still some leftover equipment for us priest class so you should at least switch out of those~"
"Ah...that's the problem Amanda...did you forget? You need to be level 30 to equip those, right?"
"Yeah, soooohh...I see..."
"Ahahaha...it'll take me a LOOONNGGG time to get to level 30! By that time, maybe I'd already found some pretty decent equipment for myself~"
"Well, thanks for the equipment then Mary. I'll sell the leftovers and give the money to you."
"Alright~"
The Priests in the party had already come to an agreement and so did Milly and Lizzy. They settled the deal by using the good old dice roll.
"GO!!!"
"HAAAHHH!!!"
96...
4...
"WHHHHHYYYYYY????!!!!" Lizzy screamed in despair.
"UWAHAHAHAHA~" Milly was laughing in delight at her friend's misfortune. She had rolled a 96 while Lizzy only a 4. The disparity was like a gulf between two oceans and the equipment all went to Milly.
Since the girl was already level 30, she immediately swapped out her old equipment and equipped the Red Giant's Set.
"Woah! You look so cool Milly~" Maria immediately praised once the girl equipped the full set.
Amanda wasn't level 30 yet, so she could only store the equipment inside her inventory. Lizzy was still on the ground crying.
Milly went over with a smile on her and smacked the Pummel Skill Book on her face. Lizzy looked a little touched at this.
"M-Milly...YOU BITCH!!!"
"Ahahahaha~"
Nope, she was not touched. Seeing the full body set equipment that Milly was flaunting right in her face, Lizzy couldn't help but grow envious.
[Pummel Lv.1
Rank: C

Cooldown: 20 seconds
Requirement: Warrior-related Class]
Lizzy could only stare in envy at Milly, but she quickly patted the skill book on her body and learnt the skill.
"This [Earth Shock] is a magic spell...that means only a mage could learn it...or if someone from among us could somehow read the language and learn it...but who would?"
[Earth Shock Lv. 1
Rank: C
Casts magic to shake the Earth. Deals 100+(INT x 1.0) M.DMG and has a 10% chance to inflict stun for 1 second.
MP Cost: 200 MP
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Requirements: Mage-related Class
Optional Requirements: [Linguistic] and [Magic Comprehension] Skills]
No one in the party was a Mage so they couldn't instantly put the book to good use. They could sell it, but no one in the party wanted to do that. Just from how the Ogre Ul'moru had used the spell, it was pretty powerful.
Rather than letting someone else buy it off of them and use it against them one day, it was better to just use it for themselves.
"Can I have it?"
Everyone turned towards Maria who had opened her mouth.
"You want it Mary?"
"Yeah! I'll learn how to read it and learn the spell myself!"
"You sure?"
"Yeah! I wanna cast Magic!"
"Eh?"
"I read about the Mage class earlier and I thought it would've been better if I became a Mage instead of a Dark Priestess...being able to use magic sounds so cool! Hmmm...maybe I should change my class?"
"NO, don't you dare!" Lizzy exclaimed.
"Whuh?"
"Don't you see how rare that Dark Priestess class is?! Mary, you could still learn magic spells from [Linguistics] and [Magic Comprehension]! It'll take a while, but you can still learn it! Understand?"
"Mhm!"
"Since you understand, don't go changing your class, y'hear?!"
"Okay, okay~ Looks like I'll have to hit the library after completing my quest~"
"Speaking of that...our Levels are pretty high now, right? Let's log out to eat and do whatever before logging back in after another 2 hours and complete Maria's quest, alright gang?"
"Yeah, sure!"
"Sounds good to me!"
"Let's head back to Almester Village first!"
