[VRMMO] Chaos Doctor

After the dwarf had judged all of the trinkets and armor sets made by Phantasia, it had now became time for the dwarf to judge the final items made by Phantasia: Weapons.

Phantasia first took out a massive crossbow like weapon with four limb sticking out from the weapon.

[Devastation Crossbow]

"Oh?"

"This looks quite interesting." – said dwarf.

"Its some sort of mix between crossbow and ballista?"

"Yes."

"It's ballista crossbow weapon." – said Phantasia while holding the giant crossbow.

"It's a crossbow type weapon that only specializes in the destructive power and range."

"Huh…. Then wait a moment."

Dwarf quickly took out new training dummy and set it across the entire before then moving away from the dummy.

"Okay. I want you to hit it all the way from over there! You got it?!" – shouted the dwarf across the room.

"Understand!" - replied Phantasia by shouting.

Phantasia took position before then starting to aim with his crossbow ballast with a use of the sight he had installed onto the weapon.

"…."

Phantasia pulled the trigger and the massive crossbow fired the giant crossbow bolt at astonishing speed before quickly hitting and piercing the dummy chest, sending the dummy flying alongside the crossbow bolt until both of them hit the wall.

"…. Nice." – said the dwarf.

Dwarf approached the dummy in order to assess the damage it had sustained.

"…."

"Huh… This is really deadly weapon, huh?" – said the dwarf while trying to pull out the bolt from the from the training dummy chest.

"It really pierced right through with ease…..."

"But it has some problems, doesn't it?" – asked the dwarf while walking towards Phantasia.

"Yea. A few to be exactly."

"This crossbow specialty is a long range and destructive power, but the crossbow itself weights a bit."

"Not only that, you also need to know how to handle this thing or the recoil will make things annoying."

"As for the reload. It isn't fast and you also need some strength to prepare the crossbow to shot."

"However, the tradeoff is worth it."

"Oh? How so?" – asked the dwarf.

"Like said before, this crossbow specialty is devastating power and RANGE." – said Phantasia.

"In order worlds, you can keep a lot of distance between yourself and your opponent thanks to this thing."

"…. True…. This thing is extremely nasty in terms of traveling midair." – said the dwarf.

"Hm…..."

"…." – dwarf did not said a world for few moments, wondering about something.

"Okay. Screw it. It's well made."

"It does have some problems…. But its intentional so you can maximize the range and the power…. Not all archers would be able to use it, but some that would be, would have a deadly advantage."

"…. Okay. I got to admit it. You are crafty bastard."

"But the test is not over yet."

"Show me the next weapon you had made."

The second weapon that the Phantasia made was long sword with simple design.

The third weapon was a mage staff that can handles necrotic element pretty well.

"Hm…." – dwarf inspected all new weapons bringed out by Phantasia.

"Well…. They don't really have any bad sides…. And they are focused on doing their job." – said the dwarf to himself while inspecting the staff and the sword.

"Hey. Kiddo." – said dwarf while turning around towards Phantasia.

"…"

(Is everything alright?) – though Phantasia.

After few moments of inspecting the weapons, the dwarf had returned each and every weapon on the table.

"Simple, but good weapons. Good job."

(Oh, thank god.) – though Phantasia while sighing in relief.

"However, I have question right now." – said the dwarf while turning towards Phantasia.

"There is one thing that I have been wondering for some time now and I need to ask it."

"You said something about that whole "Mana gun" idea of yours, but I don't see any mana guns or anything like that…. Were you able to make that thing in the end or not?"

"Oh…. Well. I did succeeded in my research and experiments and had successfully made mana gun." – said Phantasia.

"In fact. I had made few different ones."

"?!"

"Wait. Really?" – asked the shocked yet interested dwarf.

"Yeb. Let me show you."

Phantasia took out two different guns from his inventory and put them on the table.

"…. Huh…. So those are mana guns?" – said the dwarf while looking at the guns on the table.

(They do have somewhat gun like appearance, but also not exactly.) – though the dwarf.

"Hm?"

Dwarf picked a hand like gun and looked at its barrel.

"This barrel look bit weird…. Is it supposed to be like this?" – asked the dwarf, noticing the end of the gun had a circle shaped end alongside four bumps sticking out from four different directions.

"This is because of the magic gun special characterizes."

"Magic gun has three special parts."

"This part. I call it MGG. This one I call MGM. And this part is the gun barrel, you can just call it barrel or MGB." – said Phantasia while pointing at the different parts of the gun.

"Honestly, when I originally started researching the mana gun, I didn't realized how important the barrel of the gun would turn out to be."

"I mean, not like barrel of the usual gun and stuff, but instead something different."

"Simple put, the all three main parts of the gun gives the gun its characteristic as well as different forms of power."

"I see…. So, question. How does that pistole works?" – said the dwarf while holding the pistole in his hand and inspecting it.

"Its uses the user mana to fire and shots of energy." – said Phantasia.

"It doesn't really manifest ammunition just like mana bow or mana crossbow, but it's also as affective."

"The gun has short cooldown between each shots, but it does have some power and range."

"Its simple to use…." – Phantasia explained how to use the gun to the dwarf.

"Huh… Easy in use."

Dwarf carefully aimed with the gun at the dummy before then pulling the trigger and releasing a wave of energy from the barrel of the gun that flew straight towards the dummy before colliding with it and dispersing upon impact as well as visible damaging the training dummy.

"!"

"Huh. It really works?!" – said the interested dwarf.

"But…. The power doesn't look really that high?"

"Well, this was designed as a simple weapon."

"I could have made somewhat stronger pistole type magic gun, but it would consume bit more mana and it would have bit longer cooldown. There are also other reason why this is so weak, but I will explain about just in moment."

"However, this gun does its job. It's simple in use. This mana gun is about being a support weapon or emergency weapon."

"As for the other reason, its simple honestly, its research."

"I'm still researching the mana guns as well, so it's not like I can make an extremely overpower weapon from get go. However my research is improving each day and everything, but this is still pretty good weapon even though I could have made it better."

"…True. It did not ate too much mana…. And its easy to use… What about the other gun?" – asked while inspecting the pistoled.

"Here." – said Phantasia while carrying a gun with long barrel.

"This one is also a prototype, but for now it's a short range power shot."

Phantasia approached the training dummy before then aiming with his shotgun and firing it at it, shooting out a fan shaped blast out of the gun barrel that hit the dummy.

"This gun is also prototype and not finished product, but as you can see it does have some power and it had fan shaped attack. It fired completely different attack than the pistole did."

"But again, there are problem with this gun."

"However, you can see what kind of poetical this gun has once I continues my research of my mana guns and improve it."

"…."

(He isn't wrong….) – though the dwarf while grabbing his beard.

(This gun has too short range…. But if somehow deals with the range problems, then this gun would become more deadly….)

"Question. Do you have any more of those guns? Like different types and stuff?" – asked the dwarf with curios look on his face.

"Yes, I do." – replied Phantasia.

"However, each gun has some problems of their own and honestly I only bringed two best performing guns so far."

"I could have waited another month, but I didn't wanted you to wait for me too long. I didn't wanted to disrespectful or anything like that, since I did already went completely silent for long time already."

"However, the reason why I brough those two guns to you are the as the proofs."

"Proofs that the mana guns do exist and that they can be made as well as the fact that they possess their own usefulness. I wanted to show it all to you."

"They are quite hard to make and everything as well as the research regarding them takes a lot of time and effort, but it is possible. I'm not talking from my guts, but from the research I had conducted."

"I CAN make it much stronger and better."

"…."

Dwarf looked at the mana gun in his hand with serios expression.

Phantasia saw that and instantly got nervous as he waited for the dwarf to speak up.

Before long, the dwarf turned towards Phantasia and looked directly at his face before then suddenly starting to laugh.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"??????" – Phantasia stared confused.

"You motherfucker. You actual, did it?!" – said the dwarf while still laughing.

"Em…...What?" – said still confused Phantasia.

"Ah…... Sorry… Sorry." – said the dwarf after finally stopping laughing.

"Honestly speaking, you bastard impressed me and I mean by a lot."

"I was really not expecting you to make it, since you randomly though about it, but here you are."

"You had made 2 different and functioning mana guns. You bastard! You did it."

"Not only that, you are saying you can improve those things?"

"I got to say, nice work you bastard."

"Congratulation. You had passed with 100 score!"

"!"

"YES!" – shouted Phantasia after reading the system window notice.

"Well then. I now welcome you not as a friend, but instead as my official discipline Phantasia." – said the dwarf while extending his hand towards Phantasia.

"Don't disappoint me." – said the dwarf while giving cheeky smile.

"Don't worry. I won't "Master"." – said Phantasia while grabbing the dwarf hand and shaking it.

"…."
