Wedding Agreement With CEO

Ellena immediately came out of Lucas' room, after she managed to change her clothes. She seemed to be wearing a short sleeved white dress that was only knee-length. The clothes were picked up by Lucas randomly from her room, once she agreed to the conditions given by the man. She didn't think that Lucas was good at choosing the clothes she wanted. Very comfortable and makes it free to move.

Ellena spread a smile, when she found her mother-in-law who was ready to make breakfast. It turned out that the argument with Lucas in the room earlier, made her spend quite a long time. Not to mention the time she used to make up and prepare Lucas' work clothes. In the end, she was too late to help Joana prepare breakfast for her husband and in-laws.

"Good morning, Mom, Dad. Sorry I missed out!" said Ellena as she approached the dining table.

"Good morning, Elle," Veronica and Albert replied at the same time. "Come on, let's have breakfast!" added Albert later.

They seemed to be smiling seeing Ellena who looked so radiant this morning. Moreover, Veronica's smile widened even more when she saw Ellena's long hair which was slightly wet and spread the scent of shampoo that was so fragrant and refreshing.

"How did you and Lucas sleep last night, Elle?" Veronica asked as if to make sure, and of course that wasn't what she really wanted to ask. However, there was another question she couldn't just say.

Ellena smiled as she looked at her mother-in-law. "Lucas and I slept really well, Mom," Ellena replied flatly. She then pulled up two empty chairs opposite Veronica's.

Ellena landed her body on one of the chairs, while the chair opposite Veronica was intentionally vacated. She purposely prepared the chair for Lucas.

"What time did you sleep last night?" Veronica's question immediately stopped Ellena, who was just about to open the plate in front of her.

Ellena was stunned for a moment, looking at her mother-in-law. She seemed to know where Veronica was talking this time. Yes, right. She must not hastily give an answer that could make the two in-laws feel suspicious.

Ellena smiled again, before she finally responded to Veronica's question. "We went to bed very late, Mom. I'm not sure what time we fell asleep. Maybe ... it was already early in the morning, we just got to sleep. Yes, I think so," Ellena explained casually.

However, the look on her face was very convincing to Lucas' parents, making them smile as if they understood the meaning behind Ellena's words.

"Is that true?" Veronica looked seriously at Ellena's face.

Even though Ellena had tried to put on a reassuring expression, it still made Veronica have to confirm again directly.

"That's right, Mom."

Before Ellena had time to respond, Lucas suddenly appeared in the room and answered his mother's question. His presence suddenly made the three creatures who were already sitting on the dining chairs turn their attention towards him, not to mention Ellena who also looked back.

"We were so tired last night and went to bed so late this morning that we woke up late this morning. Isn't that right, Honey?" Lucas bent his body then spontaneously gave a short kiss on Ellena's right cheek, suddenly making Ellena widen and frozen because of Lucas's attitude this time. Meanwhile, her face was already turning red as if she was embarrassed.

Meanwhile, Albert and Veronica seemed to be smiling happily seeing their intimacy. Especially Veronica. By seeing Lucas and Ellena so intimately, it seemed that she no longer needed to question or even doubt about the relationship between her son and daughter-in-law.

Without feeling guilty, Lucas landed his body on the available chair next to Ellena, next to his dad who sat in the farthest chair. He seemed to be sitting opposite Veronica. He reached for a plate that was still cupped in front of him, then he turned the plate over. He did that in a carefree manner.

Meanwhile, Ellena was still unmoved. He couldn't believe what Lucas had just done to him. However, that is the reality. He realized that it wasn't a dream. He wanted to curse Lucas right then and there, but the curse he was about to let out seemed to be stuck in his throat, so not a single word escaped his mouth.

'No! This is not possible. I'm not willing! You're so sinful Lucas, for stealing a peck on my cheek. I'm sure you won't be able to just get free this time. You've gone too far, breaking our agreement!'

That sentence only Ellena could express in her heart. No matter how loud her heart screamed, still no one could hear it, without exception Lucas.

Ellena's expression this time managed to make Lucas try not to smile. From earlier, he had indeed noticed Ellena's surprise. In fact, not only that. He was also aware of Ellena's anger towards him. However, he didn't care. Just leave Ellena like that, he likes it. Even if Ellena was angry, he still liked it. Because, that's when he could see Ellena's adorable face.

"Honey, can you get me some rice please?" Lucas turned to the side as he handed the plate, suddenly making Ellena immediately realized.

Ellena still didn't want to respond to Lucas. Instead of serving her husband a meal, she just threw a cynical look at the man. She wanted to rip off Lucas' mouth right then and there.

Ellena's gaze sharpened. However, Lucas's eyes immediately made her widen, feeling surprised. 'How can Lucas tease me like that, when I'm mad at him?' thought Ellena.

"I've been hungry for too long, since last night my energy was drained," Lucas said later.

Again, the man's words managed to make Ellena's cheeks blush, her eyes widened and the roar of anger seemed to be suppressed. Lucas was so outrageous, he had embarrassed Ellena in front of his two in-laws.

Not only Ellena, even Albert and Veronica were surprised to hear Lucas speak bluntly. They seemed to be holding back a smile while shaking their heads slowly, without saying anything.

"W-well." Ellena grabbed the plate from Lucas' hand, then immediately filled it with three scoops of rice.

"You should eat a lot, so that your work is more enthusiastic!" Ellena said ending with a bitter grin. She gave back a plate that was already full of rice and side dishes.

'You feel my vengeance, Lucas!' Ellena whispered to herself.

Lucas smiled, then accepted the full plate happily, even though he couldn't possibly finish that much food.

"You had that much breakfast, Lucas?" Veronica's question made Lucas and Ellena turn their heads.

"Since he got married, Lucas' portions have changed to this much, Mom. He said, to keep him strong."

Before Lucas could speak, Ellena had already responded to Veronica's question. This immediately made the two in-laws chuckle. Even with Lucas who also chuckled because he saw the cynical expression hidden behind Ellena's face.. Yes, of course he realized that Ellena was doing that on purpose to show anger to him.
