Chapter 100 Azure Sword Mountain
As Lucian, Celine, and Isabella emerged after cleaning the traces of their sexual indulgences from the previous night and this morning, the same guard who had assisted them earlier was already waiting for them.
Upon seeing Lucian's party of three, he said in a neutral tone,
"Senior brother Xander asked me bring you three to the teleportation room. Follow me."
The guard then turned and began walking down the hallway, his footsteps echoing softly against the stone floors.
The trio exchanged glances, a mix of excitement and apprehension in their eyes as they silently followed.
Even Lucian was a bit tense. Although he had already reached 8th Layer of the Body Strengthening Realm, he still felt Xander was extremely strong.
If he suddenly attacked, perhaps he might be able to save himself, but what about Isabella and Celine?
Not to mention, there was other sect disciples here as well. Wouldn't they attack him too? They would surely listen to Xander given his status compared to them.
But did he have any choice? This was the only way out of here!
...
Lucian was now dressed in a simple dark blue robe, its fabric smooth against his skin. His long white hair fell down his back like strands of silver, with a black band holding it in a loose tie.
Isabella was wearing a light azure dress that reached just below her knees, hugging her curveceous body to show her curvaceous figure. The dress sparkled softly as she moved, making her look stunning. Her long deep blue hair was braided and pinned up with silver pins.
Celine wore a high-necked crimson gown that fell to her ankles. Though not revealing, the dress clung to her curves, showing her voluptuous figure beneath. A gold chain wrapped around her neck, drawing attention to her delicious collarbones.
They were only carrying bags on their shoulder as they followed the guard.
After passing through a few corridors, the guard led them to a heavily guarded section of the palace.
Here, Xander was already waiting, and the few outer diciples were busy flattering him.
At this moment, seeing that Isabella and Celine had finally arrived, Xander flashed a dazzling smile, his eyes glinting with barely concealed lust as he examined their bodies. But he quickly hid it.
"Let's go,"
He said, opening the door behind him. The door was made of an unknown material — though not too thick, it was cold to the touch and had no design whatsoever.
The room was simple, with no windows, and a few glowing pearls suspended from the ceiling, casting a soft light across the space.
In the middle of the room, a circular platform was erected with weird symbols etched into its surface. Strangely the symbols pulsed with a faint light.
Beside it, Dorian stood, his face concentrated as he activated the teleportation array. As he plugged the last low-grade spirit stone into a specific node of the array, it began to pulse.
Xander and Isabella's group now stopped in front of the array formation, and his eyes immediately moved toward Celine and Isabella, and Dorian couldn't help but draw in a sharp breath.
"Cough! Junior brother Dorian, is everything ready?"
Xander's sharp voice cut through Dorian's inner thoughts.
In his mind, he was already planning to have "fun" with Isabella's mother, Celine! Even though he couldn't touch Isabella for now, but her mother was a completely different story. And now, seeing his asshole ogling "his woman", he was furious.
If it hadn't been for the fact that he needed to report to Marcus today, he would've stayed to kill this bastard!
"G-greetings, Senior Brother Xander,"
Dorian said with a slight bow,
"And welcome to the sect, junior sister."
But seeing her lack of response, he couldn't help but feel angry inwardly. Yet, he didn't dare show any reaction, especially with senior brother Xander present.
Instead, he forced a polite smile and continued,
"The array is fully prepared, Senior Brother. It's ready to transport you to the sect."
As the array was fully activated, the circular platform began to emit faint light that soon intensified, bathing the room in a blue glow.
Xander turned around and spoke to Isabella with a warm smile,
"Junior sister, this is a teleportation array that you'll also use frequently in the future. You just need to step onto the platform and remain still. The array will do the rest."
Although Isabella felt uncomfortable, she still maintained her composure. After all, as a princess, her ability to mask her true feelings was well-honed.
She nodded politely, her eyes flickering briefly to Lucian before returning to Xander.
"Thank you for the explanation, Senior Brother,"
She replied, her voice steady despite her inner disgust.
Xander's smile widened, pleased by her response. He gestured towards the glowing platform,
"Ladies first…"
Isabella hesitated for a moment, then she and Celine stepped forward onto the array.
They felt a strange as if a tingling sensation spread from their toes to the top of their heads, and for a brief moment, they felt weightless, as if floating in a vast sea of nothingness.
Then without waiting for Lucian, Xander entered the formation,
"Don't worry junior sister, as this is your first time, you may feel a bit of a headache. But it's completely safe."
"Mmm,"
Isabella only nodded.
As Lucian also stepped onto the platform, the blue glow intensified, enveloping them all in a cocoon of shimmering light.
The world around them began to blur and distort, colors swirling together like paint on a canvas. A sensation of weightlessness overcame them, as if they were floating in a vast ocean.
The light grew brighter and brighter until it was almost blinding!
Lucian instinctively closed his eyes, feeling a strange tingling sensation spread throughout his body. It wasn't painful, but it was certainly disorienting.
Just as the sensation began to overwhelm him, everything snapped back into focus.
The azure light faded, and Lucian blinked rapidly, his crimson eyes adjusting to the sudden change.
When his vision cleared, even with his strong mentality, Lucian was stunned by sudden change.
He was no longer in the small teleportation room, but at the foot of a vast mountain!
As Lucian looked up, he couldn't see the peak of the mountain. It was covered in white clouds.
The sky here was clear of clouds, so as the sunlight touched the mountain's slopes, it created a breathtaking sight.
The towering mountain resembled a celestial sword, as if it were trying to break free from the earth and pierce the heavens above.
From this distance, Lucian could only see some tall pavilions, but he was sure many smaller structures were hidden among the lush greenery that blanketed the mountain.
Isabella and Celine gasped, their eyes wide as they looked around at the new surroundings.
Lucian felt the refreshing air around him, and as someone who had already experienced the unique sensation of Spiritual Energy before, he could sense its presence everywhere in this place. However, the concentration was not as strong as that of a low-grade spirit stone.
As Lucian's heart raced, both from the beauty of the landscape and the sudden fear that still clung to him like a shadow, he couldn't shake off the feeling of being scanned. But as soon as the sudden feeling arrived, it also quickly vanished!
"Cough!"
After getting their attention, Xander arrogantly spoke,
"This mountain is called Azure Sword Mountain. And right now we're at Azure Sword city."
Xander continued,
"For today, junior sister, you can find an inn and stay there. Oh! By the way, you can't use your mortal gold here. So, here!"
Xander threw 5 low-grade spirit stones toward Isabella,
"You can use this."
Isabella caught the spirit stones, their cool surfaces pulsing faintly against her palm.
Even for him, this many spirit stones was valuable, but to maintain his image in front of Isabella, Xander had no choice but to give them away. After all, these low-grade spirit stones were nothing compared to what he could gain in the future.
Isabella's eyes widened slightly at the unexpected generosity. She bowed her head slightly, her voice soft as she replied,
"Thank you, S-senior Brother."
Xander's eyes glimmered with satisfaction at "her gratitude".
He waved his hand dismissively, as if the spirit stones were mere trifles,
"Think nothing of it, Junior Sister. Consider it a welcome gift."
Then Xander turned toward Lucian, who was looking at him without any emotion. However, seeing his extremely handsome face, Xander couldn't help but feel annoyance.
Still, he remained calm and said,
"You can come to the foot of the mountain tomorrow morning. The recruitment process will begin at dawn."
Lucian nodded quietly, his red eyes hiding his true thoughts.
Xander's gaze lingered on Lucian for a moment longer, as if trying to read the young man's reaction. Finding nothing, he turned away with a barely perceptible frown.
"Well then, I'll take my leave. Junior sister Isabella, I look forward to seeing you at the sect tomorrow,"
Xander said with a charming smile, his eyes briefly flickering to Celine before he turned and strode away, his azure robes billowing in the gentle breeze.
