Dive Containers were a water type trainers best friend if they had a species of pokemon that was limited outside of water. What a dive container was was a sort of spatially expanded pouch that was similar to the bags except that the inside was filled with an artificial environment suitable for most water types. That was it's only purpose , to serve as a way for a trainer to keep their pokemon out of their balls without worrying about finding a body of water first. In this particular instance I had a dive case to make it easier for me to bond with the newborn Feebas as I otherwise would need to keep it balled all the time.-
The egg I set on the ground shook frequently and a small crack started to form on it's surface. "Come on little one you can do it!" I encouraged the newborn and my team chimed in as well. We must have cut a strange picture considering how we were all rough and powerful looking yet were cooing at an egg. None of us cared however as we were all about encouraging the little one to free itself from it's egg. It seemed like our encouragement helped energize the little one as it got much more eager in attacking the shell.-
About fifteen minutes later and the top of the egg popped of revealing the creature within. I don't use the word creature lightly here either as what we saw made no fucking sense. See most Feebas including the variants tended to have look a certain way in terms of body shape. Typically the species had a shape nearly identical to a Magikarp but with a few small differences like the fins and face.-
This creature was NOT like that at all and if anything reminded me of a Dratini instead. It had a long slender body covered in jewel-like thick tricolored dragon scales. Its had the standard four fins of the normal Feebas except these ones were longer and had a metallic quality to them. The first two sat on either side of the front portion of the creatures body while the dorsal fin was right at the top of it's body and looked almost like a sail with how long it was. The tail fin on the other hand was a wide fan shape and had a sort of bone spike right in the center that gleamed purple to likely hint at a toxic quality.-
The head of the creature was the usual Feebas face if changed to a more slender shape. The only real difference was the mouth full of sharp fangs and a pair of bumps on the top of it's head. "Welcome to the world little one!" I said with a smile as the small creature looked around with an innocent curiosity. "FEE! FEE!" The small creature called happily before doing something that surprised us all , it flew.-

I couldn't help but check the little ones status when it casually swam into the air and I was left speechless at it. The first thing I noticed was that it was level zero which I suppose made sense as it had literally just been born. The next was that it had an insane egg move in the form of metronome. It was easy to understand that this was it's variations work as the Feebas line didn't learn metronome otherwise.-
The third thing I spotted was that it's variation was still a mystery which meant it either didn't have a name or the system couldn't give it one for some reason. The ability was the same way but that at least had a plus sign next to it that told me I could get an explanation for it at least. The final thing I noticed was that absolutely INSANE stats this little one had , it's speed alone was higher than almost all of my pokemon and it was a fucking newborn. To put that into perspective that was like a baby having the physical ability of a twenty year old athlete at birth.-
As you might imagine I was not prepared for this revelation in the least. "Is this what she meant when she said it took beneficial aspects from every variation?" I muttered in shock. It was easy to understand how these stats came about. The aspects taken from the stat variations directly raised the little ones stats to these abnormal levels and add on the species natural speed and you get this insane stat spread. 'That leaves aspects taken from the royal , shiny , typing and ancient variations to figure out.' I thought seriously.-
The shiny aspects were abundantly clear so I crossed that off my list as I observed the small creature happily swimming through the air like it was water. The ancient variation might have something to do with the bumps on it's head and the sharp fangs as the ancient Feebas did gain the dragon typing after evolving to Milotic but I wasn't quite sure. For the royal variation I couldn't be certain as it's body shape was unlike any Feebas I knew of so I couldn't really compare size. -
The type variations were simultaneously easy and hard to figure out as it's ability to freely travel through the air meant it had the influence of flying , psychic or ghost typings but otherwise there was absolutely no clue what I was looking at as there was no glow involved. Taking out my pokenav I took some pictures of the little one before forwarding them to Birch. The only variation I knew fairly certainly the little one didn't have was the legendary variation. The reason I knew this was because it only existed in a pokemon that had legendary parentage , not descendance but direct parentage.-
Pokemon like that didn't just pop up out of nowhere as everyone knew exactly who the parent was in most cases as said parent was usually found not far away. While I couldn't say with absolute certainty that the genetic structure of such a pokemon hadn't been acquired somehow by people I very much doubted it. Vulcan was a very good example of the sort of personalities legendries tended to have so someone getting a sample of one of their children and surviving long enough for it to actually be worth it was not very likely.-
Not impossible mind you but so unlikely that it wasn't even worth mentioning. About three minutes after I forwarded those photos my pokenav went off. Answering it the first thing I hear was "Please tell me that isn't what I think it is?" Birch practically begged over the line. I felt like teasing the man however and replied with "I have no idea what you think it is , why don't you clarify first?" I asked with a smirk. "Fee?" the little one came over with a curious sound when it saw the pokenav.
