Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion

Chapter 149 Linkir appearance

"Begin then," the counter lady said and then...

Crack! Boom!

The orb shattered. With her mouth open, she watched as Chu Su walked to the rock.

A shockwave spread out as the rock turned to dust, and the ground cracked.

In the guild...

"What's happening?" an adventurer asked.

"An earthquake?"

"No, is it a dungeon break?"

The adventurers speculated, but the action didn't end at the back.

"Nice, the thousand of dolls," someone murmured.

Snap!

Chu Su merely snapped her fingers, and the thousand dolls disappeared.

"What... what rank is this?" the lady at the counter said in shock, but it wasn't over.

Chu Su walked back as Ariya moved forward and performed exactly the same.

"This... this..." Just as the counter lady was freaking out, she felt a familiar male hand on her shoulder, and her body relaxed.

"They are both S-rank adventurers," the man said and walked to Ariya and Chu Su.

With a bow, he greeted them.

"I knew they were S-rank, but this strength..." Buis' face twitched at the thought but bowed as well.

Louk opened his mouth and greeted them. He had his suspicions, but even with preparation, having it confirmed was still a huge shock for him—and everyone else.

"Guild master," the lady bowed as an old man came into view.

The old man smiled.

"City lord. Captain," the lady greeted.

Beside the old man were the city lord and the captain.

Buis' eyes fixated on the old man. He was the one observing them from the top of the building.

He glanced at the city lord, who nodded, making Buis sigh in relief.

But unknown to him, Chu Su noticed this exchange.

"I greet the S-rank lords," they all said, bowing.

Chu Su and Ariya glanced at each other and smiled slightly.

Just then, the world suddenly shook as a bright light appeared.

"What's that?" Chu Su squinted her eyes and asked.

"Something's landing here," Ariya said, and then...

Boom!

A huge explosion occurred as fire raged on, and a bright light spread around.

Earthquakes rippled across the land.

In a few seconds, the light disappeared, leaving only fire.

"Let's check it out then," Ariya said, and she, Chu Su, Louk, and Buis disappeared.

****************

After they left, the rest looked around.

"They...?" the captain said in shock.

"Yes, I know... fast, and they left us," the guild leader said with a smile.

The captain frowned but stayed silent. They were S-rank beings, after all. Who were they, as rank-A beings, to challenge them?

"Old man," the city lord called out, chatting with the guild leader like a brother.

"It's been a while," the guild leader pondered, smiling.

"Yes, it has," the city lord said, pausing before smiling again.

"How about we go out for a walk once more?" the city lord suggested, and the guild leader smiled.

"Alright, old friend," the guild leader said as they both disappeared.

***************

After everyone left, the counter lady remained. Her eyes were dizzy. After all, she was only a C-rank being.

"I didn't sign up for this," the counter lady muttered, walking into the guild on shaky legs.

Her mind clouded with thoughts as she collapsed, losing consciousness.

"Miss! Miss! Miss!"

The adventurers called out.

Deep in a Rank-A forest...

A particular region burned with fire, but a group of four stood unharmed amidst the blaze: Chu Su, Ariya, Buis, and Louk.

They were covered by a silver orb glued to their bodies.

They could see a crater spanning thousands of meters in size, but strangely, there was no object, being, or creature within the crater.

"What could have caused it?" Ariya asked with a confused look.

"Who, sister?" Chu Su corrected with a frown.

"Who? Do you guys mean a human fell into this crater or created it?" Louk asked in shock.

"What are you talking about? Even you S-rank adventurers wouldn't survive this," Buis complained, but Chu Su merely snorted.

"What do you know?" Chu Su said with a frown.

"Yes, what do you know?" a female voice said, startling them. The four looked around in shock.

At a tree behind them stood a female, smiling at them.

It was Linkir.

"Hehe, Quasi-Rank 3... who are you?" Linkir suddenly said, appearing right in front of Ariya.

Ariya's left eye turned silver, and half of her left hair turned the same color.

Her aura shook space itself.

Before her, Linkir's smile widened.

Chu Su backed away in shock, as did Buis and Louk.

Linkir, who had initially been in her wolf form, transformed into an Aeron. Her face morphed, claws extended, and her body became crimson red with black claws, her expression turning sinister.

"Who... who is she?" Louk asked in shock, looking at Linkir facing Ariya.

"I don't know," Chu Su said with a frown.

Elsewhere...

"Hmmm. System, why do I suddenly feel like something exciting is happening and I'm missing it?" Void suddenly asked, feeling uncomfortable.

(Host is probably missing a fight he'll regret not seeing in the future.)

"You f****r," Void complained.

"Heck, whatever. Out of sight, out of mind," Void said, continuing his journey.

At the Dark Realm...

1% of the entire Dark Realm was now aware of the Dark God. His true form was darkness, and his name was Cukip.

No one knew his origin, nor could they explain how a god appeared in the Dark Realm. But he was one of the most powerful gods they had ever seen, conquering multiple planets in a short time.

In the third layer of space, a being smiled brightly.

"Hehe, high-level Rank 2," Cukip said with a smile as he sat on a throne. Explore stories on empire

From the throne, the being rested his chin on his right arm, gazing below.

Below were various worlds and planets the god had visited. Songs of worship filled the air as Cukip grew stronger, occasionally performing miracles and blessing the strong.

"Hahahah... Void," Cukip muttered with a smile.

Curiosity burned within him. He was eager to meet this cold-hearted demon.

"The day we meet... I'll experiment with some bubbling ideas in my mind," Cukip said, smiling as his darkness enveloped the space.

Elsewhere in a strong layer of space...

"Erm... he has been here?" a being muttered in a quiet, almost motionless region.

"Sigh, who was so stupid to release the predator?" the being asked, clicking his tongue in amazement before disappearing.

"Whatever, not my concern," the voice echoed across the space.
