Chapter 134: This Fine Man is Hers
Chapter 134: This Fine Man is Hers
"Excuse me?" Mo Qingchen asked, confused.
"Come on." She extended her hand towards him. "Come with me. I'll show you."
"You want me to hold your hand?" he asked.
"Try not to look so disgusted," she responded, laughing. "We've already groped and kissed. It's a shame if we don't hold hands. You're going to have to get used to it soon, anyway. Trust me."
He stood there, looking at her hand for another moment before taking it tentatively. He laced their fingers together securely and she led the way to the door of the office. They walked through the door and into the tiny room with Li Min in it.
Qian Meng could feel Li Min's eyes on them the whole way. They walked out of the room without paying attention to her and down the long hallway that he had come through.
They passed a few people in the hall that looked at their linked hands curiously, but nobody said anything. They made a left where they had to and then ended back out in front of the elevator. The elevator had a few people on it, who remained eerily silent throughout the ride until they walked out into the large entrance hall were the receptionist Mo Qingchen had come across earlier sat.
Qian Meng stopped walking and turned to face him, pulling him into a tight hug. But it wasn't just any hug. It was a full body embrace. She dropped his hand so that her arms could circle around her waist and he instinctively wrapped his hand around her. Her hands caressed his lower back and the curve of his ass in a very non-platonic way.
Behind Mo Qingchen, Yun Qian Meng could see the people at the desk shamelessly staring at them.
Mo Qingchen nuzzled his face into her hair and whispered into her ear. "I didn't think you would be so bold… or such a natural actress."
"Now that those people have seen us together, I will give it half an hour before the whole office is gossiping about the new man in my life." She smiled mischeviously.
To all the people around, it looked like they were whispering sweet nothings to one another, but in reality, they were informing one another what they were doing. As they pulled away from the lingering hug, he placed a quick kiss on her cheek.
"You still have a scandal to handle. Don't go overboard," he warned.
"My employees know not to talk to outsiders. The backlash is worse than any monetary benefit they could get from leaking the news." She gave him a little wink.
This vixen!
"I guess I'll talk to you soon, then. Text me the time of your appointment and give me a ride, okay?" he mumbled, not sure what else to say.
Ah, to think Mo Qingchen was left without words.
"Absolutely, have a good afternoon," she said with a smile.
He turned on his heel and walked off in the opposite direction. He didn't get very far before Yun Qian Meng called out to him.
"Oh, Qingchen, I forgot something!" Qian Meng called out to him.
"What?" he asked as she turned back to face her.
Qian Meng strutted his way over to him, closing the distance between them with a full-fledged smirk on her face. When she got to him, she placed her hand to the side of his face and brushed away his hair from his face, exposing his for her to once again whisper. She got on her toes despite the heel to get closer.
"Your ass looks fantastic in those jeans," she whispered in a husky voice that he had definitely never heard her use before. "I may have to consider allowing you to keep those in the upgraded wardrobe. I quite like the idea of taking you out in those in public and letting everyone know that ass is coming home with me. That this fine man… is mine."
Mo Qingchen never got embarrassed, but he could feel heat flood his cheeks as Qian Meng spoke into his ear. He was left speechless, which was rare for him. As she pulled back and looked at his face, all he could think to do was give her a weak smile.
As he turned and continued his walk outside, he had an extra spring in his step.
This woman was going to be the death of him.
What happened to that innocent nun fa?ade he had all these years? How had she turned into a deviant that would pounce on him? Moreover, he had to control himself not to pounce on her before she could do anything.

Qian Meng took the elevator back up and this time, people looked at her with polite curiosity. She could hear mumbles here and there and she knew that the gossip was spreading faster than the speed of light.
She was about to go inside her office when Li Min stopped her.
"Boss, Li Jun asked us to prepare a video of you apologizing. You can discuss the particulars and what you will post on the website on your own," her words were quick and precise.
"Got it," Qian Meng responded. "Right. If Mo Qingchen had come earlier, I could have handed Li Jun the agreement. Now I need to make a stop at his firm before going to the appointment."
Li Min blinked. "Boss, can I ask you something?" Her voice was low and unassuming.
"I was waiting for you to ask," Qian Meng smiled.
Li Min coughed. "I am not asking this for gossip, but is there something going on between you and Mr. Mo from the opposite building?" Qian Meng wanted to roll her eyes.
'Opposite building, just say that you are timid in making a huge assumption and still want to show that you are fine with having the man as the common enemy you need to guard against.'
"Didn't I ask you about getting married? I promise its not to spite you, though." Qian Meng smirked.
