"You're not making the right choice. This could be your only chance to find your mother." A voice resounded from within his mind, Asura's voice.

"I'm not unreasonable. It's normal for her to think very well about capturing her father. I've seen my father in action, none of the guys face leave with a complete body part.

"The time I was attacked while going home my dad broke the guy's bones by just balling his fist.

"And now that his wife is missing he'll definitely do something bad to those people, including her dad.

"Besides, I have a plan." He smirked as he made his way back to the base.

Upon reaching the abandoned field which was surrounded by a net fence Xander saw a group of people in front of the volleyball court all in red and he lept over the fence towards them directly.

He landed on his two legs behind the group and he saw familiar faces there.

"Hey, Xander. Where'd you go?" Harry asked with his usual warm smile.

Before he could speak another voice reached his ears.

"So you're Xander Sean. You're a lot more handsome that they described."

He turned around to see a mature woman in a tight outfit which showed all her curves. Her long black hair was tied up in a ponytail tail and her beautiful obsidian eyes radiated both a playful and a seductive charm.

"And you are?" Xander raised a brow.

"I'm Natasha, the last member of your group. Beside me is Yukimura, we're veteran apostles."

Xander nodded to the Japanese man beside her to which he nodded back. He also noticed that all of them were in red outfits which looked extremely flexible.

"Do I have to wear one of those too?" Xander asked as he liked the comfort of his dashing suit.

"Yes. Yes, you have to." Natasha said with a smile.

Two hours later, the group that were waiting for Xander suddenly saw the space twist in the volleyball court and he emerged from it.

He wore a turtle neck, fitted shirt and a pair of stretchy joggers which shined as if they weren'tmade from the normal materials. On his feet were a pair of red alloy boots which changed shape to fit him. The outlines and edges glowed in a bright red colour and Xander felt lighter just by wearing it.

"Woah, you look way better in that," Natasha complimented while kicking her pink lips seductively.

"Wait. Where's Sandra?" Hannah asked. "She isn't back yet."

"No. Turns out that her dad was really working with the ghoulshippers." Xander sighed.

"Wait. Are you talking about Lucas Dave? Cause that's where we're about to head now," Yukimura said stunning Xander.

"How did you know?"

"One of the workers figured it out today and were about to head to his mansion now," Yukimura replied to Xander's question.

"Wait, wait, wait. I'm lost." Hannah said with furrowed brows. "Her father is working with the bad guys and you left her there with them."

Everyone turned to look at Xander when the statement was over. He sighed as he began recalling what exactly happened at the mansion.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

Xander told them about Sandra not wanting to believe the reality of the situation and how the ghoulshippers promised her dad that their 'god' would bring back his wife and something else like that.

"That's not true. According to our books on the ghouls; they want our world and they want to feed on humans. They are likely playing the man." Natasha concluded with a rather calm tone as if she expected it.

"Let's search somewhere else. I gave Sandra two days to think about it and I gave her free choices."

"You what?!" Natasha screamed. "Do you know how close we'll be if we just go ahead and kidnap them?! From what you told me it's very likely that she'll go with her father and run away since it's family issue."

No matter how they looked at it they all found Xander stupid for doing that.

Xander scoffed before saying, "I'm not stupid. I already knew that. That's why I put a V5 tracker on her." He smirked.

The others were bewildered as they all looked at Xander in surprise.

"I already looked at the worst case scenario and sorted it out."

"Wait. Where did you even get a V5 tracker?" Harry asked as V5 technology were not easy to get nowadays.

The advancement in technology became more serious per day and to rank the technology depending on new and improved materials used to make them, the government ranked them from V1 to V5. The 'V' stands for version while the numbers were just... numbers.

A tracker that was ranked V5 was the highest level. Satellites could find it anywhere in the world even inside the earth's core or even thousands of kilometers away from the earth's atmosphere.

"The time Yukimura took me for a tour I grabbed some from a lab," He looked at Yukimura with a smirk.

Yukimira's eyes suddenly widened as if he had a sudden realization and he pointed Xander. "You told me that you were just checking the place out."

"But that's not what matters right now." Xander brought out his phone and tapped on something. "Check it out. She's still in their mansion. We can be monitoring them through a computer."

The others gathered around to see a blue print of a big house on a screen. A red dot pulsed, indicating the location of the tracker.

"I gotta hand it to you pretty boy, you're smart." Natasha mused.

"Give me your phone. I'll connect the tracker's ID to our computers," Yukimura said as he took Xander's phone and vanished into the volleyball pitch.

Hannah walked towards Xander with a complex expression on her face. She looked tired and angry at the same time. She held Xander's arm and rested on his shoulder.

"I just wish all that's happening will stop," she mumbled but it was loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Oh, don't worry darling. As long as we locate their base before the sacrifice completes, we can stop them." Natasha assured her.

"All we have to do now is wait and see if they would make a move." Xander's gaze was unwavering.

He was determined to save his mother before the curse of Asura gets to her. And he will save her.
