Chapter 852 Four Pillars: True Mana
Chapter 852 Four Pillars: True Mana
Ding!
[Your understanding of mana and its interaction with the four elements has taken on a qualitative change, solidifying into something that has the potential to encapsulate areas far bigger than the world before you.]
[Because of that, the world has deemed you worthy of being able to permanently tap into a portion of its nigh-infinite power, hoping that your comprehension would eventually soar to greater heights.]
[Your Intent Seed of the Four Elements has ascended to become a full Intent.]
[Your Intent Seed of the Four Elements has transformed into the Intent of the Four Elements.]
[The grade of your Intent has been determined to be at 8th Grade.]
Seeing the system officially acknowledge that his Intent Seed of the Four Elements had now become a proper Intent, the young man was all smiles as he read through the various notifications he had received.
Though, as he continued reading through his notifications, the young man's expression quickly turned into that of confusion as he looked through the last few notifications on his screen.
"Eh?"
[You have come to know of the existence of Shadow Energy, an energy from the Shadow Plane that could be considered an alternate version of mana.]
[You have also come to know of the limitless capabilities mana holds, realizing the various properties it could take on once a specific element has been infused with it.]
[Now, you have finally come to know of the essence that allows mana to do the things others want it to achieve. However, there are still more facets to it that await you.]
[Your understanding of the essence of mana has reached a culmination point. The world has taken notice of this, allowing you to borrow a portion of its nigh-infinite power.]
[You have awakened the Intent Seed of True Mana.]
Reading through these last few notifications, Valyr was gradually left at a complete loss for words as he could not believe what just happened.
'You're telling me… I've inadvertently comprehended another Intent Seed?'
Scratching the back of his head as he began to rummage through his memories, the young man's expression eventually relaxed as he found the clues that allowed this surprise to appear before him.
Though he was putting all of his focus towards improving his Intent Seed of the Four Elements to become a proper Intent, the information he was obtaining from the stone stele came from Sellifer's own comprehensions.
In other words, since she had chosen the path of pure mana to achieve her Azure Energy, the purified comprehensions Valyr was pulling to improve his Intent Seed followed the path of pure mana as well.
Of course, since not all of them fit the path his current Intent Seed was taking, he was forced to throw most of them away in fear of reliving the weird sensation that enveloped his body back then.
However, there were still a few bits here and there within the purified comprehensions that meshed nicely with the Intent Seed he was improving while at the same time still following the path of pure mana.
With that, the young man gradually accumulated more and more information that fulfilled the same criteria, which caused the young man to awaken yet another Intent Seed seemingly out of nowhere after he had accumulated enough of it.
Taking in a few deep breaths to calm himself down, the young man went ahead and activated his newly obtained Intent Seed of True Mana to see what it was capable of.
Whoosh!
In less than an instant, Valyr felt as if the mana circulating within his body had caught on fire, making his body feel like it had burst into flames.
Fortunately, this sensation only lasted for a brief moment, instead being replaced with the sensation that made him feel like there was more mana in his body than normal.
Understanding that this was the effect his newly obtained Intent Seed had on his mana, the young man went silent for a bit before a look of realization appeared on his face.
"Ahh… now that explains the connection that opened before I had yet to even upgrade the Intent Seed of the Four Elements to an Intent," inwardly muttered the young man to himself, nodding in both understanding and satisfaction as everything now made sense to him.
Feeling a bit curious as to what would happen if he were to infuse the same Intent Seed into his Azure Energy, the young man decided to shelf the thought for a later time as he had already thought of pushing his Intents to a higher stage before.
Unfortunately, before he could even begin upgrading his Intents to the higher grades, the black and blue parts on the stone stele dimmed down all of a sudden.
Not long after, the stone stele disappeared as well, prompting the young man to look at the woman that came up with the idea in the first place.
"Yeah… I think that's more than enough for now." With a pained and tired expression across her face, Sellifer looked at Valyr for a bit before giving him a proud smile. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
"Congratulations on obtaining two fully-fledged Intents."
"And to think that both of them are already at 8th Grade… not bad."
"I'm guessing you ran out of energy to keep the process going?" While he responded to Sellifer's words with his own words of gratitude, Valyr also asked why she stopped the entire thing.
"To be honest, I could keep this going forever if I wanted to." Sellifer looked at him with a bitter smile. "However, if you were to have gone further down the path of upgrading your Intents through this process, your Intents would eventually begin to resemble what my Intents were in some areas."
"At some point, my comprehensions would become your comprehensions." Sellifer faintly shuddered at the thought. "And I don't mean it in a good way."
Though she did not tell him any of the consequences outright, what Sellifer told him was more than enough for Valyr to remind himself to not bite off more than he could chew, lest he wanted to ruin the efforts he had already put into his journey so far.
With that, it did not take long for the two to eventually part ways again, with Sellifer reminding Valyr of her pantheon before she truly left.
On the other hand, the young man felt his consciousness gradually return to his own body that slumbered in the tent he had set up.
Giving his consciousness some time to adjust, Valyr eventually opened his eyes, only for him to swiftly move backward as the sight before him caught him off guard.
"Sorry for disturbing you." Hal and Vera looked at the young man with apologetic smiles. "We really didn't mean to scare you," said Vera. "But we just had to talk with you about it the very moment the thought came to our minds."
"What do you want to talk about?" Deciding to leave the matter of their intrusion for later, Valyr inwardly let out a faint sigh as he asked in response.
"It's our departure from the inheritance," replied Hal, prompting the young man's expression to turn serious.
"We plan on leaving very soon."
