Shiroken continued to beat them up. "Tell me, what are your motivations? Why are you after the tailed beasts?"

They did not answer, not like he was expecting them to. He glanced at the masked man and had a feeling that this was the same person he saw during the Uchiha clan massacre.

"You are that man from that night, right?" He asked.

The masked man however acted like he was embarrassed and girly, "Oh... I don't remember any night with you."

Shiroken didn't care about his shenanigans. "We will find out soon."

*WOOSH* He just took one step and arrived in front of the masked man. The man was forced to use his power and teleport away from there. Shiroken didn't even stop him, "Ah, it is you."

"Tsk... talk about spoiling all the fun." The masked man finally showed his real self. He stood straight and talked seriously in a thick voice, "Now I will have to kill Juzo Biwa." He muttered

"WHAT?" before Jūzō Biwa could react, an arm pierced his chest with a kunai. He was just left in shock and disbelief. Never had he thought the one to betray him would be Tobi, the joker of the group.

With him out of the way, Tobi faced Shiroken, "You ripped my left arm out that night, it was very painful."

"What is your name?" Shiroken asked him.

"I am Madara Uchiha." The man claimed.

"Pfft..." Shiroken held his laugh. "I refuse to believe that. No way Madara Uchiha can be such a weakling. He was able to control the might of a full complete nine tails."

"I CAN DO THAT TOO, AND I IN FACT DID." Tobi blurted, but he immediately realised he messed up.

"So it was you who attacked Konoha that time? Young man, you have caused too much pain and suffering to this world. And like all rabid dogs, you must also be put down." He threatened him.

Tobi however had no wish to fight him anymore, "Heh... can't catch me."

Tobi immediately jumped to Roshi and tried to grab him. "No no... you can't do that here." Shiroken's voice came.

And along with that voice came an invisible airwave, it was like a blade, so fast that Tobi didn't see it coming. *SLASH*

"AAAA..." Tobi fell back, his whole left hand was now cut out and on the ground. While he bled on the side.

Shiroken walked to him, "Your sense of security because of a simple space-time Jutsu is misplaced. In front of absolute strength, nothing matters. And let me tell you, there are out there, beings that are even stronger than me. What will you do when they decide to attack?"

Tobi immediately forgot all the pain as soon as he heard that. From what he knew, Shiroken was an ancient being with immense strength and knowledge. Anything he says must have a meaning behind it. And if he said there are beings stronger than him, while looking at space, that could only mean one thing.

"How would you know that?" Tobi asked.

"Because I fought them. So know this, whatever your little plan is, it ends here today. As I do not have time to deal with you little children wanting to play the villain." He said in a threatening voice. Seeing him shocked, Shiroken proceeded to take his mask off to see who it was first.

Tobi came back to his senses as Shiroken had gotten hold of the mask. He panicked and used his teleportation Jutsu again. At the same time, Shiroken saw the face and was honestly left in a bit of confusion.

~Wasn't this the boy I saw in Minato's old photo in Naruto's room?~ He wondered. Recently Minato had been bringing many things to show to Naruto and that included a lot of pictures.

That was when he felt slightly conflicted, should he kill him right here and now or get a result about his motives first? ~I guess... I need to talk to Minato this time.~

Shiroken kept the mask and the boy escaped as he was thinking. However, the boy didn't notice a kunai being also sneakily thrown with him. But before he left, Shiroken said something that would resonate in the boy's mind, "This world is far too complex to understand. Often, simple-minded ones end up getting fooled by those smart ones. What are you? The puppet, or the master?"

Shiroken said this to create doubts in his mind. Because from what he understood, this boy had attacked Konoha once already, right now was the second time. So something must have happened for him to turn on his home village like this.

As soon as he was gone, Shiroken walked to Roshi. But he didn't untie him, instead, he talked to Son Goku first. "MONKEY POWER GOOO..."

"MONKEY POWER GOOOOO..." Son Goku answered with the same energy.

Shiroken laughed. Son Goku was one of the most fun tailed beasts as he played with him a lot, "Don't worry, Son Goku, we'll be going home soon. But, a village I am an elder of is being attacked right now. So I got to save it first. You will be coming with me until then."

Then Shiroken looked at Roshi, "Haha... you, I shall use you to negotiate with Iwagakure I guess."

At that moment Roshi was regretting ever leaving his damn village.

Konoha,

Pain had ordered his group to start attacking the village. A few of them were responsible for stopping the heavyweights of the village while the rest were to go and catch the two Jinchuriki. They were doing it at their own pace, thinking nobody would come to intervene, certainly not Shiroken.

The effect of the attacks on the already devastated village was too much, as people fled in fear. Tsunade knew what it was when the first explosion sounded. She ordered every single known Jonin around the village to deal with it. Meanwhile, she and Jiraiya went on different paths to fight and stop the attackers.

~I hope you come in time, I don't know how many there are.~ She muttered while running.

Soon, she came upon two people, ready to fight her. Deidara and Konan. She immediately initiated the attack, not knowing it was a trap laid by Deidara, as he had surrounded the buildings around her with explosives.

*BOOM*

"Hehe... I think it will be very easy to take over Konoha." Deidara muttered.

"Don't be too confident," Konan warned him.

She was proven right when Tsunade was seen still standing, just with slight bruises and torn clothes from here and there. A big seal on her forehead was activated, covering her face and extending around the body.

A distance from there, another battle was going on, it was between Sasori, 5 paths of pain and Jiraiya. Jiraiya had to go into Sage Mode early, knowing he needed to end this as quickly as possible. However, the similarities of these nearly identical orange-haired beings shocked him slightly.

"Nagato?" Jiraiya voiced. But he only received attacks in return. Sasori was proving to be very hard to handle as he brought out the puppet of 3rd Kazekage.

The only ones left were Kisame Hoshigaki and Itachi Uchiha. Their job was to find the two Jinchurikis. Itachi knew who Konoha's Jinchuriki was so he chose to go after him first.

Not knowing the current situation of the village, he arrived at the house Naruto used to live in. He barged in by breaking the door, only to find a bad odour of expired food and garbage.

Annoyed, he started searching through the buildings around there. But he couldn't find him anywhere. Understanding that the best solution was to go to the surveillance room and watch from there, he headed in that direction.

But, on his way, on the empty road, he out of nowhere found someone he had never expected to see here. But he welcomed the appearance. Not even stopping, he slammed his fist into the boy's stomach.

Sasuke fell down in pain, holding his stomach, "ITACHI... WHY ARE YOU DOING ALL THIS? WHY?"

"You are too young to understand the intricacies of this world, my little brother. *BAM* All you have to do to get answers is to remember this pain... the hatred. *BAM* Remember me, your brother, who killed your mother and father. *BAM*..."

By now, Sasuke's body was limp from all the beating. There was no way he could beat Itachi right now. He cried but still uttered some words, "I... I KNOW... YOU HAD SOME REASON... TELL ME WHYYY?!"

Itachi, even though his eyes wavered, lifted his hand to punch him in the head to knock him out. "Get stronger, beat me, and get the answers. As long as you stay a pathetic weakling, you shall never be anything but a pawn to others."

He raised his one hand a little further and at the same time tapped on Sasuke's forehead with two fingers, "Until we meet again, Sasuke..."

*THUMP*

It was not Itachi, but an arm that appeared from behind him and caught his arm from punching Sasuke. And what proceeded to shock Itachi to the core was a voice he had long forgotten… the voice reached his ears again, resurfacing memories of the past. "Stop it, Itachi. You've done enough. All this is meaningless now."
