Chapter 509-Aby
Chapter 509-Aby
Chapter 509
"You are friends with the Goddess of Life, Yggdrasil, and I learned that she only had two friends in her life: the Demon God and the Goddess of Death."
"So, are you the Demon God? You also call yourself Aby, and if I'm not wrong, your true name is Abyss?"
Dave asked Ronin, Flamy, and his other subordinates about everything they knew regarding the war between God and Demons, and their experiences, and since they were his subordinates, they could directly show Dave some of the things they knew and had experienced.
He also learned from Gabriella's memories about the connection between Yggdrasil and the Demon God, information that was deeply hidden even from the other Ten Commandments due to her previous master, the Goddess of Light, who also had dealings with the Demon God.
Aby was surprised, and for the first time, her expression changed, but she quickly regained her calm demeanor and smiled before replying, "So you knew? I thought you wouldn't ask about it."
Dave shook his head and responded, "I didn't want to ask, but I became curious about you and how much you knew about me. Who truly am I? Why was I chosen by the system? I don't think everything was just a coincidence. What is your main goal? You know, it's hard to just go with the flow without knowing some things about myself."
Aby looked at Dave's handsome face before sighing and deciding to reveal more to him. "Okay, then listen to me."
"I know you wanted to know the truth, but I cannot divulge everything I know, and it's for your own sake," Aby stated.
Dave nodded, understanding that there must be some danger or karmic consequence if he knew certain things at the wrong time.
Aby smiled and approached Dave. He allowed her to do as she pleased, curious about her intentions.
Aby sat on Dave's lap and kissed his lips, surprising him. Though he didn't resist, Dave felt a rush of information entering his mind, causing him pain.
In his mind's eye, Dave witnessed a war—chaos, slaughter, pillaging, betrayal, and revenge. He felt the emotions of everyone involved in the memory.
Even for Dave, accustomed to pain and brutality, it was an overwhelming sight, affecting his mood.
When he opened his eyes, he saw Aby looking at him with a smile.
She remarked, "Oh, looks like that is the limit your current soul can unseal, huh?"
Dave, still somewhat traumatized by what he saw, instantly recovered thanks to his strong mind.
"Whose memory did I just see?" he asked calmly, trying to make sense of the vague clues he'd glimpsed.
"Was that the war between gods and demons?"
Aby shook her head and replied, "No, it's older than that. But for now, you should try not to probe about it."
"As for myself," she continued, her demeanor shifting, "I am the Demon God, Abyss, ruler of all demons and the progenitor of all demons, as well as the Ruler of Hell." n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
Dave was shocked by her revelation. Aby exuded an unfathomable aura that sent chills down his spine, though fortunately, it wasn't directed at him. It was just a small fraction of her aura as she tried to restrain it.
Aby's appearance shifted from that of a seductive beauty to that of a strong, mature woman who seemed capable of looking down on anyone with just her gaze.
Seeing Dave captivated by her, Aby laughed and reverted to her normal self, sitting back on the table.
"Are you satisfied now, Dave?" Aby asked with a chuckle.
Dave chuckled in response and asked, "If you're the Demon God, why did you become the administrator of the system? I thought you were invincible. You could even render the Gods helpless against you."
Aby laughed and didn't seem bothered by his words.
"I cannot divulge anything about it for now. Maybe when you reach Celestial Immortal or above. But I can tell you one thing: with my power alone, I could kill all the Gods if I wanted to. However, some things can't be achieved through killing and brute force."
"You shouldn't just be wary of what you can see and know, but also of what cannot be seen or felt," Aby continued, her words perplexing Dave.
"So, you can't act personally because someone might notice you and take action?" Dave asked, trying to grasp Aby's meaning.
For Dave, Aby's declaration wasn't a lie, considering she was the Demon God—a being created after the universe's formation. Aby smiled and nodded.
"Yeah, the Supreme Will—the will of the universe and the one maintaining the laws and balance of everything," Aby confirmed, leaving Dave astonished.
He now understood why Aby restrained herself; with her powers, she could easily end the war between Gods and Demons, but the Supreme Will forbade her from eradicating them.
"Does the Supreme Will know of my existence?"
Dave inquired, realizing that the Supreme Will might be the ultimate opponent he would face in the future.
"Nope, you are special, which is why you were chosen by the system. The system also deceived the Supreme Will into believing that I had already died, so it continued to hibernate, realizing that no one was capable of damaging the universe again."
"If I make a move, it might awaken and restrain me again," Aby explained calmly, not showing any frustration.
Instead, she seemed to mock the Supreme Will, indicating she didn't fear such an existence.
......
Dave, satisfied with the information he had learned about Aby, decided not to press further on her origins to avoid annoying her. He left the Hall of Chaos, ready to initiate the war.
Entering the main hall, Dave easily found Muller, Naga, and Xegron, who appeared to be waiting for him.
Surrounding the castle were millions of human soldiers, prepared for battle.
Dave was impressed by their composure, proof to their training and discipline.
"Greetings, Master!" Muller and Xegron greeted Dave, while Naga bowed alongside her father.
Despite her reluctance to admit it, Naga was impressed by Dave's actions and was moved by his plan to start a war for their sake.
She vowed to participate and seek revenge for the traitors of the human race.
