Chapter 510-War
Chapter 510-War
Chapter 510
Dave got kicked by Aby because he kept asking her about her origins, but he failed to get more answers.
At the moment, he was satisfied to learn something about her and didn't want to annoy her, so he left the Hall of Chaos to start the war.
He went directly into the Hall, where he easily found Muller, Naga, and Xegron, who seemed to be waiting for him. He also noticed millions of human soldiers ready for war.
Impressed by their composure, Dave could see how well-trained and disciplined they were.
"Master!"
Muller and Xegron greeted Dave, while Naga bowed with her father.
Dave's status was the highest among them, as they had all joined the Lord of Chaos.
Even though Naga didn't want to admit it, she was impressed by what Dave had done to help her father.
When she learned that Dave planned to start a war for them, she was moved and decided to participate to seek revenge on the traitors of the human race.
"Master, should we move forward? The teleportation portal is ready for the troops and needs 5 days to reach the domain of the Metal Empire," Xegron reported.
"Based on the reports they had, the current army of the Metal Empire reaches 500 million, and our numbers are only 400 million, but I think we can win," n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
Xegron added, having already assessed everything and ready to fight alongside his master.
Dave and Xegron didn't care about the numbers of the enemy because they were just cannon fodder for him. Dave's real targets were the emperor of the Human Metal Empire and the demon behind him.
"Well then, Kirito!"
Suddenly, Kirito appeared in front of Dave elegantly and bowed to him.
"Master!" Kirito greeted. Dave smiled, patting his shoulders.
"You'll assist Muller and the troops, along with the Legion you created, in the war," Dave commanded.
Kirito nodded, accepting his orders.
Dave introduced Kirito to Muller and Naga.
Kirito was also a Transcendental Being and had formed 60 soul flowers because of Dave, so his strength would have a huge impact on the war.
Muller didn't expect to see another expert on Dave's side, which reassured him further about the war against the Metal Empire.
"As for you," Dave looked at Naga, who couldn't help but feel nervous in front of him.
Despite her strength and fierceness, she always felt nervous around Dave.
"What is it, Holy Son?"
Naga bowed, unable to meet his gaze.
"You should follow me and assist me," Dave commanded.
Muller was surprised, but he didn't mind, feeling happier that his daughter might have a chance to get closer to Dave.
Naga, on the other hand, began to ponder the reasons why Dave wanted her to accompany him.
She didn't believe it was because he was attracted to her, as Dave was even more perfect in terms of appearance than her.
"Don't think too much. I just have high hopes for your potential, and I'll let you fight the enemies' strong combatants," Dave said with a smile, not revealing his full intentions.
He wanted Naga to face life-and-death situations to forge her body and mind in times of difficulty.
Naga had the halo of a protagonist, so she wouldn't die easily, and Dave was there to watch over her, ensuring her safety.
As for his second goal, he wanted to observe the sword that felt familiar to him.
He could easily obtain it from Naga, but he considered himself a good person and didn't feel the need to take it, especially since his own sword surpassed even the God Tier, forged with chaos, his blood, and combined with the ultimate treasure, Black Slime.
Despite this, his strength was still not enough to fully unleash its true power.
"Now, let's start the war," Dave declared.
Muller stood in front of his soldiers with a confident expression, feeling as if he were back in his prime as a young emperor.
He remembered his hot-headedness and love for fighting strong opponents, often emerging victorious despite facing near-death challenges.
In his era, he became one of the strongest human emperors in the Celestial Plane and even had the chance to become a hero.
However, the suppression of other races and the lack of support from the Gods and Angels led to the decline of their human race.
"My soldiers!"
Muller shouted, wearing black armor radiating immense power, exuding the dignified aura of an Emperor.
"Now that the Lord of Chaos supports us, we do not need to fear the traitors of our race. The Metal Emperor, who betrayed us and colluded with demons for power, must be brutally defeated. It's time for revenge for our fallen comrades. Are you ready to fight?"
As his voice reached the million soldiers, they shouted in unison, "Fight! Fight! Fight!"
Muller was satisfied, glancing towards where Dave, Xegron, and Naga stood, watching him.
Dave signaled him, and Muller shouted, "Open the barrier!"
........
The Thunder Empire domain had been sealed, utilizing the remaining energy stored by all the ancestors of the Thunder Empire, drawn from their life force, to be used in dire situations.
This measure had been forced upon them due to the harassment of the Metal Empire.
However, now they could open it and launch a counterattack.
Boom!
Suddenly, the sky brightened as the barrier covering the domain disappeared, catching the attention of some Metal Empire soldiers who were spying on them.
"The barrier disappeared! Send a message to the Metal emperor!" one of them shouted to his subordinates, eager to inform the emperor.
They had been stationed here for so long, and he was growing bored of the surveillance. Finally, they could leave this place.
Boom!
Before any of them could send a message, they were all blasted by a black ball of energy, their souls instantly absorbed.
"Che, their souls are not good," Kirito remarked, looking down on the humans he had just killed.
He then commanded the human troops behind him to start activating the formation to travel to the Metal Empire Domain.
While they could travel by foot, it would take them a month to reach their destination. However, this journey could be shortened by using space portals.
Despite Kirito's ability to tear through space with his current strength, he wasn't as proficient as Dave, so they needed to rely on these portals.
