Reborn in bleach as a hollow with a system

115 – Skulking Rats

115 – Skulking Rats

Harribel nodded towards them. "That was really good," she said.

This seemed to cheer Apacci up a little as her frown lightened.

Mila Rose grinned. "Now I kind of want to fight," she said.

Hisashi chuckled. "Want one now?" He asked.

She shook her head sombrely. "No, I would stand even less of a chance than Apacci did," she said.

Apacci glared at them both. "Hey!" she yelled out offendedly.

"You both did great. I thought things were only just starting to get interesting though. When were you going to bring out the whips and blindfolds?" Sung-Sun asked with a smirk.

"Shut the fuck up Sung-Sun!" Apacci shouted.

Hisashi rolled his eyes. "So is that what you do in your free time?" he teased back.

Sung-Sun licked her lips seductively. "Wouldn't you like to know?" She said.

Nelliel wrapped her arms around him from behind and glared at Sung-Sun.

Hisashi watched her with a soft smile.

That only made her laugh. "Lighten up sweetie. I'm just teasing him," she said.

Nelliel just kept staring at her though and refused to let go of Hisashi.

Hisashi chuckled awkwardly. "How about we get to heading back?" He asked trying to change the topic.

Harribel nodded. "Does anyone need to do anything before?" She asked.

She just got a bunch of shrugs. There wasn't that much to do in Hueco Mundo after all and unlike Hisashi the others weren't near as eager to hunt other Hollow. Only Mila Rose had her moments.

=Las Noches=

They saw the dome of Las Noches approaching from the horizon. Hisashi sensed a malicious gaze on them coming from ahead. He wasn't sure exactly who the target of the gaze was, but it was certainly someone amongst them. It disappeared before he could find out who it was from though.

He shook his head. 'Whoever it is it seems things are going to become busier soon,' he thought.

He wasn't too worried about himself. He could defend himself from most after all. However the others were another story altogether and it left him worried. Those that hadn't become Arrancar yet would struggle with any of the Espada and Nelliel's original Fracción wouldn't stand a chance against almost any Arrancar at all.

He turned back to the others standing behind him. "I have a feeling someone is going to make a move on us again. No matter what until specified otherwise make sure to travel in groups wherever you go. It would be best if at least one amongst Nelliel, Harribel, Apacci, and I are with you at all times. This goes double if you are heading outside of Las Noches," he said.

Harribel's gaze turned serious. She nodded in agreement. Out of everyone she had been the only one to fear she might get eliminated after all. If Hisashi hadn't been there she had no idea how things might have turned out instead.

He looked over at Pesche and Dondochakka. "This goes even more for the two of you make sure you are always accompanied by one of us," he said.

They saluted exaggeratedly. "Yes Sir!" They shouted.

Nelliel smiled.

"Why do I have to do what you say?" Apacci asked.

Hisashi gave her a glance. "Do I need to spank you again?" He asked.

She subconsciously covered her behind. When she realised what she was doing she just glared at him.

Sung-Sun slithered up beside him with a smirk. "Whatever you say hubby," she said.

"I'd like to see them try anything," Mila Rose said confidently.

She smirked looking at Hisashi. "After watching your battle I'm itching for some action. How about we take a mission together?" She asked.

Hisashi shrugged. "That's fine by me," he said.

She patted him on the shoulder a little harder than was appreciated. "Great! Let's go pick one up right away!" She said excitedly.

=Las Noches Administrative Office=

Hisashi handled most of the talking as Mila Rose didn't have the patience to deal with these things. The Arrancar staffing the office gave him the information they had for a few missions they were eligible for.

"Any of them sound good to you?" Hisashi asked Mila Rose.

She shrugged. "Whatever. You choose," She said nonchalantly.

He turned back to the staff and marked the job they would be taking.

It didn't take them long to process the request. Thankfully Las Noches was small enough that the little bit of bureaucracy there was still kept to an acceptable level. No ridiculous appointments and wait times.

Mila Rose smiled. "So can we go now?" She asked.

As soon as he nodded in agreement she grabbed his arm and started dragging him out of the office.

Moments after they exited he once again felt the same malicious gaze he had noticed before.

'Is it Grimmjow?' He wondered.

He shook his head. 'Nah. He wouldn't be skulking around like a little rat,' he thought.

On their way to the palace to let them know what they would be doing and say goodbye they ran into Cirucci.

"Hey! What a coincidence running into you here!" She said with a heavy dose of fake positivity.

While she was trying to ingratiate herself to Mila Rose, Hisashi gave her the side eye. 'Was it her? Did she give up on winning the girls over?' He wondered. He wasn't entirely sure, but the timing was more than a little suspicious.

He put on a fake smile. At least it was better than hers. "Yes such a happy coincidence. Great to see you again Cirucci... So what brings you here?" He asked.

She looked at him with disdain. "Yes...Hi..." she said.

Turning back to Mila Rose she asked: "So what are you doing?" She asked.

Hisashi sighed. "Sure, ignore my question...' he thought exasperatedly.

After Mila Rose explained what they were doing Cirucci suspiciously volunteered herself to join them and said she had nothing better to do. This did nothing to alleviate his already growing suspicions, but he agreed none the less. He hoped he could draw out whatever their plans might be by putting themselves in a more vulnerable position. As far as they were concerned after all Mila Rose and him were just two regular Hollow that hadn't even experienced Arrancarification yet. The types most of them looked down upon.
