Returning From The Magic World

Chapter 401 Ohhhh

When he arrived home, Arthur could feel Carla's aura which meant she was back from Paris.

Despite flying home, Arthur still entered the house through the front door, and found Isabel sitting in the living room, still wearing the clothes from the afternoon. She didn't even seem to have washed her face.

Piles of documents were arranged in front of her and she read them one by one.

Who knew what they contained, but being a state official was not a relaxing job.

The good thing was that he was a Magus so she could be active longer while on the move.

Sensing Arthur's arrival, she turned her gaze towards him.

However, she only looked at him briefly before going back to reading the documents. It seemed that she was so focused that she couldn't think of anything to say.

Arthur approached her, and glanced at the documents which turned out to contain various data from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Arthur said nothing, and sat down opposite her.

Of course, he wanted to relax first before doing anything.

After he sat down, Isabel suddenly stopped reading the documents again and looked at him.

"I wanted to ask you, what do you think of the immigrants in Europe?" she said, much to Arthur's surprise.

"Why do you ask that, aunt?" asked Arthur.

"Because it is a matter for the Ministry of the Interior, and it will soon be a matter for me," Isabel replied.

"Then which side of the argument are you asking for?" asked Arthur once again because when it comes to immigrants, there is too much to talk about, starting with why they came, how to take care of them, and then thinking about their integration and economy.

"Some people are against immigrants coming to Europe because they consider them a burden, and also destabilizing. However, some people agree for various reasons, be it humanitarian or out of guilt that the conflicts in their countries are ultimately caused by the west. What do you think, are you for or against? I'd like to hear from the perspective of someone who has lived in another world," said Isabel.

Her last sentence made Arthur pretend to cough because talking about it also made him feel a bit strange.

Even so, he still replied, "I value everyone's freedom of choice, so I don't agree with rules that limit where people can go and live."

"Ohh, that's a very radical thought." Isabel looked a little surprised.

If it was like that, then everyone from different countries could live in Europe. Even those who have always supported freedom might disagree. Immigrants are supported because of the destruction of their countries.

"Aunt, you are supposed to be a supporter of freedom, why do you want to talk about this, is your mind shaken enough?" asked Arthur with a strange expression.

Given that she already had thoughts, whe should be able to work according to her thoughts.

Perhaps she found out the hard way, something that often happened to everyone who finally got a high position.

"This is more difficult than I expected, and in fact it could shake up the whole of Europe. Yeah, let's blame the old minister for not being able to work to his full potential, he just likes his position," Isabel replied, making Arthur roll his eyes.

After that, Isabel continued, "until now the majority of immigrants have been unable to integrate into life here. The number is more than 80%. They live on government assistance, but the real problem is the ever-increasing deterioration. This then leads to a lot of crime coming from them. However, at the heart of all the problems is the fact that there are many officials who don't like the immigrants so they block integration."

"Then whose fault is it, aunt?" asked Arthur in response.

When it came to politics, he thought his brain wasn't fully functional because he was used to organizing by force. Plus, in the Sky World, he only governed a few people, he didn't form kingdoms and such.

"The President is also to blame because he divides too many positions to obscure people just because they helped him become President," Isabel replied.

"Don't tell me you're interested in becoming President?" Arthur's eyes suddenly opened wide.

Isabel was criticizing him, which meant he probably didn't feel like he was enough of a Minister.

"Becoming President requires winning an election," Isabel replied, shaking her head.

However, her expression showed that she was genuinely interested.

The real problem was that the election was still quite a while away, about almost two years away.

Of course, it can be expedited on the condition that the President and his deputy resign or die.

"Aunt, are you really interested in becoming President?" asked Arthur with a serious expression. This was something very interesting to talk about.

Ignoring the lives of Magus, becoming President meant becoming the number one person in Europe.

It would be even more interesting if the President was a beautiful woman. In a way, it would make life more colorful even though it would ultimately depend on the President's performance.

And most importantly, Europe would belong to the Wilson Family.

Arthur would of course be happy to help. He might even make Isabel an indefinite President.I think you should take a look at

China could make such rules, why couldn't Europe.

Isabel showed a strange expression when she heard that.

The truth was that there was no ambitious politician who had no interest in becoming President. That's probably their greatest pursuit. The problem was just that it was too difficult to achieve.

After a while, Isabel shook her head again and said, "let's not talk about that before I'm sworn in as Minister. I don't want to make Europe even more chaotic either."

Right after she said that, the door to Carla's room opened, and a beautiful, slim, tall figure, wearing shorts and a tight tanktop stepped out.

Her hair was in a ponytail, still wet, which showed that she had just finished taking a shower.

She stared downstairs, observing Isabel and Arthur before stepping towards them with her usual calm expression.

When she arrived near the sofa, she said, "baby, have you eaten yet, how about we find a restaurant?"

After saying that, she sat down next to Arthur in a very tight position so that her thigh was pressed against Arthur's thigh.

"Uhuk!" Isabel coughed, dropping the documents in her hand before staring at Carla with wide open eyes.

"What did you just say?" she asked.

"What?" Carla feigned confusion while Arthur smiled wryly.

This woman really did what she said.

"What word did you use to call him?" Isabel asked with her chin slightly raised, showing that she was in deep shock.

"Baby," Carla replied calmly.

After that, she asked, "Mom, why are you overreacting so much. We're currently in a special relationship, I don't know if it can be called lovers, but we've had sexual intercourse, and it's been several times, so I don't think it's a problem to occasionally call Arthur darling."

She looked very relaxed when she said that, but Isabel's expression froze while her lips parted.

Unfortunately, hearing something like this was not easy at all even though she had previously said that she gave Arthur and Carla freedom.

It was a different case when they had already said it. Isabel could not imagine how the two of them were naked, cuddling, and of course, making the two things into one.

Suddenly, Isabel felt her head sway.

She had to take a deep breath to calm herself down.

"Fine, it's up to you," she said.

She picked up the document again, focusing on it.

Carla, however, was not just silent. Each of her hands went up to Arthur's shoulders.

"So how was it?" she asked, bringing up the previous topic of taking Arthur to dinner at a restaurant.

In response, Arthur shook his head.

"I'm going to make potions from the ingredients I got from Bruce, so I don't have the time, it'll take a few hours," he said.

"Ohhhh..." Carla looked disappointed, but she also didn't seem to want to force Arthur.

"Since it's like that, I'll just go to bed now and wait for you, in your room," she said.

After saying that, she kissed Arthur on the lips, which was impossible for Isabel not to see because her gaze was still occasionally watching them.

Carla then stood up before going back up to the second floor.

And on the second floor she entered Arthur's room.

After she closed the door, Isabel suddenly asked, "is it true what she said, that you guys have done it several times?"

The question made Arthur not know whether to laugh or cry.

In fact, it was only twice, but Carla really overestimated the numbers.

Of course, even twice is something difficult to answer.

Isabel's green eyes looked into Arthur's green eyes, waiting for his answer.

"Ahhh, no need to answer." In the end, Isabel spoke first before Arthur could answer.
