Chapter 409 Destroyed
Arthur took a deep breath while a faint pink glow emanated from his hand.
He returned to the front of the creature's forehead before touching it, sending the pink light into its head.
After that, he withdrew his eyes, letting his magic work and tell him where the creature's soul was.
If it was far away, it might take some time, but if it was close, it would be quick.
Arthur couldn't help but admire this spell because it was indeed amazing, worthy of a Divine Spell.
"Mmm!!!" He was suddenly surprised that the result was faster than he expected.
He found the soul, a very weak black soul.
Through that soul, he could see around, and what he saw made him want to laugh.
He saw the castle's living room where the Armstrong Family members were gathered, staring at Logan as evidence of his corruption was revealed.
Of course, she could also see the Head of the Armstrong Family as the soul was apparently hiding inside his body.
However, even though the soul was in a very weak state, Arthur found that it still had some protection from some artifacts that were certainly not weak.
With those artifacts, it might not be difficult for him to fight against an extremely powerful Official Magus.
'Hmph, unfortunately your artifacts will be useless under my spell attacks,' Arthur said to himself, not worried at all unless he challenged him directly.
Perhaps the creature was hiding in the Armstrong Family Head's body to protect him as well as watch over him.
One other thing that caught Arthur's interest was a ring on one of Alexander Armstrong's fingers.
The ring had a diamond on it, but Arthur could clearly see that the diamond also served as a button.
To Arthur, it was much more dangerous because he couldn't pick it up either unless he moved quickly to the old man.
Plus, with today's technology, it was possible that he had some kind of chip that could give orders with just a thought.
"Old man!" Arthur called out to Santiago.
He had a plan that he thought would work.
"What's up, boss?" asked Santiago as he approached with a scared look on his face.
David responded by pointing in a certain direction.
"Use your strongest attack there, make sure it penetrates that ceiling. Remember, a concentrated attack to one point," he said.
Santiago was about to attack. With his strength, his attack should arrive within a second.
Before his attack hits Alexander Armstrong, Arthur will kill the soul so Alexander has no more protection. That was the plan.
Even though Santiago did not understand the plan, he still nodded.
His hand shot upwards, the flames then gathered to form a very sharp spear.
The old man did as Arthur asked, releasing a lot of power.
Even his body was immediately sweating, indicating that he was instantly exhausted.
"I'm ready, boss," he said.
"Start," Arthur replied.
At that, Santiago threw the fire spear at the ceiling. It traveled very fast, easily penetrating the ceiling that was up to five meters thick and arriving at Alexander's feet.
The old man didn't even notice, only the people in front of him did because they saw it firsthand.
The soul hiding inside his body was also aware, but it hadn't had time to react because the attack came to him first.
"Who are you?" He shouted, his voice echoing from within Alexander's body, startling the others.
BANG!
Unfortunately, the soul exploded without being able to fight back, causing black smoke to pour out of Alexander's body.
Whoosh!
The spear then pierced through his body, burning him quickly.
He was just an ordinary human who was already very old, so how could he possibly withstand the fire from Santiago.
He was reduced to ashes in just a split second, a sight that made all members of the Armstrong Family turn deathly pale.
However, there were some objects that appeared above the ashes, black objects with a strange aura. Just looking at those things made them break out in a cold sweat.
At the same time, Arthur put the huge corpse into his Space Artifact.
After that, he flew upwards through the hole in the ceiling.
He arrived at the place where Alexander's ashes were. He deposited the objects on top of the ashes before looking at the Armstrong Family members who seemed to recognize him well due to their reactions.
"Tsk! Tsk!" Santiago who followed Atthur appeared behind him, staring at everyone ahead with a horrible-sounding laugh.
"So this is what a family said to rule Europe looks like?" he said in a tone that seemed to mock.
If we're talking about his opinion of them, Santiago could be said to dislike them very much.
He had the pride of being an Official Magus, one of the most powerful beings on earth, so he didn't like seeing a bunch of mortal humans acting as if they were greater than him.
"How dare you?" One of them who was also an old man pointed at Arthur and Santiago with trembling hands.
"What?" Santiago responded, appeared in front of him, and slapped him across the face until he was thrown out of the villa, landing in front of the door.
Considering he was an old man, he was probably dead, even a young man would be seriously injured being slapped like that by an Official Magus.
"Hmph, just a weak dog!" Santiago snorted coldly.
He then looked at the others with bulging eyes.
"Do you dare, the fire spear was from me," he told them, intimidating them once again.
Actually, there were a few Evolvers among them, but perhaps only weak Evolvers, Arthur and Santiago's aura easily intimidated them.
When they were silent, Santiago looked at Arthur and asked, "boss, what are we going to do with them?"
"Kill them all, make sure there are none left, and make sure they can't rise again," Arthur replied.
After saying that, Arthur actually took a step away, appearing at the castle door with just one step.
At this point, this family that was said to be so powerful was no different from a group of ants in his eyes. They were dead and they were finished.
There was probably a lot of their wealth out there, but Arthur knew that it was impossible to take it all because just tracking down their wealth would take time.
At best, the government would take over their banks.
As for their power, that was also something Arthur couldn't touch. Like the nukes they have for example, those things are in Israel which is a country they control.
Even if the other four families also died, it would still be impossible to control that country for him unless he first came to that country to conquer it.
For now, the time was still not right.
Perhaps when his army was ready, he could come there.
He thought the time was when he wanted to check out the Pyramids in Egypt, and check out the things they were building in the Middle East.
On his way out the door, Arthur met up with Jane and the others.
They turn pale from the screams inside. Santiago began to carry out the massacre.
"Who are you?" the youngsters asked. Most of them had no idea who Arthur was.
Some wanted to jump at him, but were stopped by Jane.
Since she was the strongest and probably the most senior, the others remained silent.
The woman looked at Arthur and stared at the castle.
The scream inside was enough to stir her heart so she bit her tongue.
However, she was also a calm-minded woman so she knew that she could not act carelessly.
In her life, besides being taught to rule the world, she was also always taught to be rational in dealing with situations.
Unfortunately sometimes it's hard to be rational when you've been on top for too long.
"Aren't you going to let go of the young ones?" she asked in a low voice.
She finally spoke to Arthur.
"Depends on how you look at it," Arthur replied.
He would probably hold back on the minors as long as they realized their mistake.
However, for this massacre, the Armstrong Family deserved it for the too many crimes they committed.
Those who wanted to slaughter them could line up an entire city. Unfortunately, they were too formidable. Only a power beyond human strength can overcome them.
After hearing Arthur's words, Jane pressed her lips together before replying, "we did make an unforgivable mistake, but I hope you don't target the young ones, I will take them away, and our family name will no longer be Armstrong."
"Jane, what nonsense you say." Jane's words naturally drew an immediate challenge from the others.
"Jane, we are the strongest family and will always be the strongest." One by one, they shouted, reminding Jane who they were.
In response, Jane stared at them with her purple eyes that seemed to be able to unleash a sea of lightning.
It instantly made them stagger back and shut their mouths.
