The Empyreal Gem Master

Chapter 63: Disparity I

In the skies above the City of Anan.

The Tier 7 Beast Lord, Vishpala, floated in the skies while clutching her chest with shock and incredulity.

Who was she?

She was a paramount Beast Lord who led a whole army- someone who was getting ready to face Ascendant Gem Masters of the Human Lineage and lay claim to their lands!

She took a detour.

A small detour to satisfy the Elven Beasts as she kept in mind the Elven Beast King that even her Master respected.

But this detour…

Why did it seem like they had arrived in an ancient human land that held Gem Masters more terrifying than even the Ascendant Gem Masters she was going to face?

Things began simply enough, but they had now arrived at the point where dazzling crimson wings erupted behind the gigantic Five-Link Gem Master and the Beasts working under him!

When these wings appeared, it felt like their true power was unveiled as she faced an attack she couldn't escape from.

A spear faster than what she could evade!

The [Barrier of Space] around her nearly shattered as she was flung to the skies.

She grit her teeth and disrupted the surrounding space while stabilizing herself, but even before she could retaliate…

SAA!

Blue lightning crackled as it was overlaid with crimson light, the figure of a young girl with Five-Link Gem Sockets instantly appeared above her while her body spun, her hands lashing out a pillar of blue lightning that was simply too fast!

Facing this, the Beast Lord instantly twisted something inside of her as…

BOOM!

Her humanoid form disappeared.

Multicolored feathers flourished as the form of a dazzling Peacock unfolded in the skies, a storm being whipped around by its advent as even while it made its appearance…

"Fellow Gem Masters, can we have a discussion first?"

The sweet voice of the Peacock echoed out towards Azazel who had prepared another spear, and Claire whose hands were forming more Pillars of lightning!

In the midpoint of the skies, a figure with radiant wings of Lightning stared calmly as the massive form of the Peacock that was actually forced to full power by Azazel and Claire alone.

This was a Beast Lord.

A Beast Lord!

Down below, the figure of Elder Commander Lidar had the massive claw of the Golden Flame Lion pressing down on its injured body, the surroundings being hellish ones as the earth was transformed into a lava-like area by the terrifying flames of the Golden Flame Lion.

This whole area looked like a crater as thousands of Tier 4 Beasts and below had perished, the only thing left behind being their Gems and Ascendant Life Gems of the Tier 4 Beasts!

At this moment, an extremely fast flash of crimson lightning buzzed around this whole crater, all Ability Gems and the Ascendant Life Gems disappearing from the scorched earth as moments later, this crimson light formed into the figure of Alexander as he appeared above Lidar.

Lidar who burned as much of his Energeia as he could to ensure that he wasn't crushed under the weight of the massive Golden Flame Lion.

All the Gems within this crater had entered Alexander's Isolated storage space, which was among the passive capabilities retained even after the Corrupted Lightning King Gem Recipe became the Gem Constellation, Light of the Void.

So he stored all the boons so far as he then looked into the eyes of the maddened Elven Beast Commander.

The Elven Beast Commander who saw his calmly appearing figure and grit his teeth as he spoke out.

"Mercy, O Human Gem Master. The Elven Beast Lord occupying the Skypeak Ascendant Stronghold of Galanis will pay any price you put forth in exchange for my life."

…!

Yes.

He used one of the methods of his Beast World when he faced this terrifying enemy as whenever one of their forces was captured, their people would negotiate with the enemy for their release in exchange for resources!

Of course, the enemy had to have sufficient power.

But when it came to this massive Golden Flame Lion and how fast it could move, and how heavy its attacks were, that showed a great disparity of power between him and it…these enemies had the power to negotiate as Lidar put forth this method right away.

And the Human Gem Master, whose Sockets couldn't really be made out on his chest, looked at him calmly.

As if he were looking at an ant below him.

Lidar waited for his answer while gritting his teeth, promising internally to pay back this disrespect after he was back by the side of the Elven Beast Lord!

But…from the human Gem Master, and extremely calm voice came out.

"No Elven Beasts will survive this battle today."

WAA!

As if stating a fact.

As if noting the color of the skies!

Words were uttered out so simply that by the time Lidar's gaze changed, he only saw the mane of the Golden Flame Lion shining brilliantly as its head locked onto him, its eyes releasing beams of cylindrical light that pulsed with crimson lightning!

It reached his body in no time as his consciousness began to fade away along with its brilliance.

Before it entirely faded, his unresigned will wondered.

Just who the hell had they come across?

BOOM!

The earth became further scorched as at this time, the first Tier 6 Beast fell outside the City of Anan.

Where his body used to be, six dazzling Ability Gems and a massive Ascendant Life Gem could be seen alongside a melting skeleton, Alexander going forward to obtain these as well as a sliver of the anger within his heart was satisfied.

Every Elven Beast that died was a testament to his revenge.

None of them would ever have the chance to become bound to him as Minions- with their only path being fuel for his growth as he obtained their Ability Gems and their Ascendant Life Gems.

In this current battlefield, maybe the Orcs could become Minions.

Maybe the Peacocks could become Minions. Chapter Find:

But the Elven Beasts…there was only the path of death for them!
