Chapter 62 A Week Has Passed And It Was Time To Leave The Zombie World

[The host doesn't have to worry as the system wouldn't do anything that would completely harm the host. After all, it isn't as easy as the host thinks it is for a system like myself to find a qualified host.]

[Unlike other systems, a system such as myself is the type that requires a host that fulfills certain requirements, like those holy swords or mythical artifacts. Of course, some systems could choose the host they want without those restrictions. But whether the host could encounter those system users in the multiverse or not is still within a possibility as nothing is completely absolute.]

[But for now, that is impossible as the host hasn't traveled outside the world that the system has access to. As long as the host is in the simulated world or also known as the world chosen by the system, then it's impossible for the host to meet those anomalies.]

[However, meeting reincarnators, regressors, and transmigrators isn't impossible. In fact, the host will meet them in the future as the upcoming worlds are more difficult than the previous.]

[But the host didn't have to worry. After all, as long as it isn't a full-dive simulation, the host's death is nothing but just a bunch of system texts.]

Receiving that explanation and reply from the system, Alister wasn't completely assured but he never planned to make trouble with the system to begin with.

He still had to set his priorities straight and the system could be considered his partner in crimes. With that in mind, Alister knew that at least in the early, mid, and even late phases, he didn't have to worry whether the system would betray him or not.

Of course, the same couldn't be said if it was the end phase where he had reached his prime but if he reached the top of the multiverse power, Alister felt that he should have the power to defy the system.

Unless of course, the system did something like self-destruct and since the system is integrated in his soul, that would indeed NOT kill him.

After all, Alister was confident that a multiverse god doesn't need a physical body, a soul, or even the consciousness to be able to be born again. As long as their existence wasn't completely erased, they could technically resurrect themselves as they were never dead to begin with.

But for Alister to be certain about his conjectures… Well, let him reach the level of a multiverse god first to verify his conjectures.

With that plan in mind, Alister decided not to think too much about the conspiracy of the system as with his current power, he wasn't qualified for that yet.

And if the system wasn't lying, he could still inquire more information about the system from the system itself as long as he had acquired another world.

Of course, the possibility of the system lying to himself about the information regarding itself was not to be ignored. But it wasn't technically a problem as long as it didn't harm his or his loved ones' lives.

After all, at this point, Alister could care less about others. Even the gods don't care about their creations and have likely abandoned them; let alone him, a mortal below them.

"Well, if I had the power to save everyone and it doesn't cause any inconvenience to myself and my loved ones, it's not like I couldn't do it. After all, my priority is myself at the top, my loved ones are second, while the others are at the third."

"As long as my higher priorities aren't hindered or at risk, then I don't mind helping others."

"After all, as a World Master, it's not like I have to completely kill everyone aside from my loved ones. I could kill everyone in the zombie world with just my thought alone but there is a reason why I didn't."

"The world can generate energy passively. However, if I lacked the energy to use my authority, the living beings in the world could be used as an alternative as I convert their life energy into world energy,"

"Since I own the world, then the world is my property. Since they are living in my property, they have to pay me rent money."

Alister had to admit. The feeling of owning a world was above the feeling of owning a mere private island like what those billionaires felt.

After all, even those billionaires couldn't control everything in the world such as its weather, the inhabitants, etc. But Alister could!

Using his Nigh Omniscience and Nigh Omnipresence, Alister observed the entire world as he took a mental note of what had transpired after the start of the zombie apocalypse.

With those two cheat skills being used simultaneously, Alister had discovered some of the future zombie emperors as well as future human emperors that could prove to be of some use to him.

Even those who were proficient in academics, especially research, biology, and science weren't excluded from his search as Alister knew that they could contribute to the research of the zombie virus in the Cloud Sect.

But in regards to his search for those zombies and humans who had the potential to become an emperor or also known as SS-rank, Alister was quite surprised to find out that the lightning human awakener in dormitory 172 had the potential to become a human emperor.

However, Alister had killed him before which prevented that from happening.

Or more like, everyone that had the potential to become that was either already killed by Alister, or had been killed by Alister when they have reached that. After all, there was no one that wasn't killed by Alister in this world since he had caused mass genocide before.

Only the ones who had already died weren't killed by him.

After his discovery, Alister sent that information to Yun Ren so that Yun Ren could handle the rest.

Of course, he had also used his absolute mind to make those geniuses loyal to him. His absolute mind didn't have the range to reach them, but his Nigh Omnipresence made up for the lack of that, allowing him to ignore the concept of space and distance!

After the first day of the apocalypse, Alister spent the rest of the week with Alice and Lynn. When he had revealed his identity as a transmigrator to them, they didn't shun him away since what mattered to them was that it was him who had loved them and not the previous Alister.

If it was the previous Alister who had loved them and he happened to transmigrate afterward, then it would be a different story and Alister wouldn't have told them if that was the case.

Although, that also made Alice discover the reason why the Alister she knew had changed but in the end, she didn't pursue that matter as what was done was done and she couldn't bring back the previous Alister.

Even if she could, Alice doubted whether the previous Alister would save her like what the current one did and she dared not guess nor take such a risk.

So in the end, it didn't cause much commotion and Alister, Lynn, and Alice spent the week together.

Due to that, a week passed and it was time for Alister to leave.
