World Travel Simulator System In Modern Society

Chapter 63 Returning To The Transcendent World, A Problem Occurred!

Chapter 63 Returning To The Transcendent World, A Problem Occurred!

"Sigh, in the end, I still have to return to this dangerous world."

Alister spoke as he looked up at a familiar ceiling, lying down on his bed.

He had already returned to the transcendent world after holding a farewell party with Alice and Lynn.

He was glad that when he had revealed that he was a transmigrator, they still accepted him but even so, he still didn't have any plans of revealing that he was a system user to them.

After all, it was not uncommon for a transmigrator to exist when compared to a system user. An example of a transmigrator was those summoned heroes in another world who were tasked to defeat a demon lord.

Even the monsters that had invaded the transcendent world could be considered as transmigrators.

"The only problem I have left is when I accidentally leak the secret that I am a 9th-level transcendent, then the world will persecute me as one of the invaders in the world those monsters came from. Even if that wasn't the case, they would at least think that I was possessed by a 9th-level parasite monster."

"If that happens, well, I can always evacuate to the zombie world. Even if they locked onto my coordinates and followed me, I dare them! At least, I am a god in the zombie world so as long as I am in my home court, I am invincible!"

While Alister was boosting his confidence through self-hypnosis, he heard a system notification sound in his mind.

-Ding!

[The rewards have been received and the host has returned to his world. And since it's an S-grade simulation score, the simulator will be in a 24-hour cooldown.]

Receiving that notification from the system, Alister decided to sleep through the 24 hours so that he could simulate another world without having to wait through all of those hours.

Anyways, he could control his sleep now so it was not a problem for him to sleep for a day. It won't affect his health since he could even use his viral energy to convert it into energy that could sustain his body for months of hibernation.

With that in mind, Alister decided to sleep throughout the day as the planning and training he had in the zombie world was quite tiring so he planned to take a break here.

Sleeping on his bed, Alister slept silently as the time passed.

***

-Bang!

An explosion resounded in the street which had awoken Alister from his slumber.

"Bloody hell! These wankers! Do these idiots know that using bombs for construction is illegal? They might as well use a fucking drill!"

Alister woke up and decided to choose war!

It was unforgivable for someone to wake him up from his sleep!

In life, what he couldn't accept was the absurdity of someone stealing his water bottle and pen. Those criminal offenses deserve execution!

But what was even worse was that someone dared to wake him up!

Only Lynn dared to wake him up but that was due to his sleep being on time. But from what he saw on the wall clock, he had only slept for like 22 hours and there were still 2 hours left till the start of the next world simulation.

But before Alister could further complain, he sensed danger so he covered his body with mind power. Shortly after, an explosion occurred and his house was shattered into countless debris.

Due to the power of the explosion, Alister's body also flew along with the debris of the house. His body somersaulted in the air but he was somehow unharmed and he even landed perfectly on the ground as if nothing had happened.

"My damn house! Fuck!"

Only after Alister finished his acrobatic performance did he snap out of it and complain about his house being destroyed.

But before he could further complain, he noticed that a cyborg was floating in the air with jet thrusters on its feet. Those jet thrusters were even part of its body since aside from the head, its body was mostly mechanical.

Furthermore, the left eye of the cyborg was covered in red lenses and his hair couldn't be seen as it wore a metal helmet with blue lines that seemed to be energy circuits.

Moreover, both of its hands transformed into gaping holes as if something would come out from it, like what a cannon or rocket would have.

Before Alister could further marvel at the advanced technology used to make such a male cyborg, he saw that the left hand of the cyborg shone with a red brilliance. Afterward, a beam of red laser came out of its left hand and it shot towards him!

However, Alister was unfazed by its attack as he just stood in place, looking nonchalantly at the upcoming red laser.

When the laser reached a meter near Alister, the laser seemed to have bent and was refracted to another direction, specifically to a nearby house which was cut in half by the laser.

Among the houses in the neighborhood, even Alister's house was destroyed and only that was still intact. Due to Alister's pettiness, he can't accept that everyone's house in the neighborhood was destroyed yet that one house was still intact.

So to do the neighborhood a favor, Alister induced his enemy to destroy that only intact house. Even if someone found out, it's not his doings anyway but the actions of the damn cyborg!

Alister decided to feign innocence.

'That cyborg seemed to be at the peak of 8th-level. At least, it's a lot stronger than the tentacle monster. Anyone who gets hit by that laser will be sliced to pieces.'

'It just so happened that I am now at the peak of 9th-level. I am a level higher than that cyborg and with three superpowers, I can easily defeat it through both the power of quantity and quality.'

Alister thought as he observed the cyborg who looked to be confused when his attacks failed to hit Alister.

"Transcendent has been located. Estimated power of the Transcendent is at 9th-level."

"Error! Transcendent couldn't be found in the database. A new transcendent has appeared. Initiating killing mode!"

The cyborg let out a cold masculine yet robotic voice as he observed Alister.
